I was on my way but would arrive on time for my appointment. I walked in at 6pm on the dot and apparently they took a walk-in with really long hair because the stylist was working on her hair. They told me it would be 5-10 min wait. It's now 6:20 and I haven't been serviced yet. Now I am going to be late to my event. The sweet receptionist told me a stylist called out sick that's why they were backed up. But that story didn't make sense since I received a text at 5:30 asking me to come in early. I wish I could walk out but unfortunately I need my hair done tonight. Fortunately because of the inconvenience they did offer to do the blow out for free. I am grateful for that, but it doesn't change or fix the inconvenience of being late to my event tonight.

I book a dry style and natural makeup for an event. Not sure if I was even with the stylist I was booked with. Hair was ok, I asked for more volume, I have a bob so I don't have a lot of hair but there was no volume. Hair took about 10-15 mins. Then make up. They must have been short staffed because my hair stylist also was going to do my hair. She was not familiar with the makeup area, or what natural make up entails. The make up area was a mess and most of the makeup was the other make up artists. So right off the bat I was a little nervous about this but I needed it done. She didn't have any of her own things and just used what was in the drawer or asked to borrow from the stylist next to her. She seemed like she was just thrown in and not very confident, who knows if the brushes were clean but like I said I needed it done. When it was done it was very natural it looked like nothing was done even though she took forever and I needed to remind her of the time. I had to have her fix the eye make up bc it wasn't even blended. I went home and fixed my makeup. When I checked out she didn't seem to know how to use the program and tried to charge me $75 which is $10 more than full face glam. She went back and forth with me then the other make up artist had her change the price to the correct price. I never get my hair and make up done and this is the last time I will ever go there.

I brought him a picture of what I was looking for style-wise. He was VERY knowledgeable, definitely the most knowledgeable stylist I've ever been to, and did a great job explaining how we were going to get my hair where I wanted it to be. The haircut was exactly what I wanted and I'll definitely be going to him from now on. Caution: he's a hair stylist, so his prices are more than SuperCuts or SportClips, but you will walk out of there with what you asked for instead of a crapshoot, lawnmower job.
