I was physically and emotionally exhausted and needed to make urgent decisions regarding the home, including replacing the air conditioning system. I contacted Mike Graham and paid approximately $5,600 for an air conditioning unit. After the installation, I learned that two other companies would have charged substantially less for comparable work. When I raised concerns about the pricing, I requested either reimbursement for the apparent overcharge or removal of the unit with a full refund. The company agreed to remove the unit. However, after signing paperwork during that stressful time, I later realized that instead of receiving a full refund for the removed unit, I was refunded only the approximate difference between what I had paid and what other companies reportedly would have charged, resulting in an approximate loss of $4,000. This experience was financially upsetting and especially difficult given the circumstances under which I was making urgent decisions while grieving my father's death and managing a distressed property from another city.

The woman (Bonnie I believe) that contacted me shortly after they received the request was quite pleasant and scheduled a technician to come out the same day. A couple hours later a gentleman showed up and accessed what needed to be done. Said they would get ahold of my home warranty company to get an authorization and that they should be able to get it done tomorrow. Great! This morning I contacted WMC Plumbing and they said they were awaiting authorization but that they should have it shortly. They called back and said they would be dispatching a tech and that he should be at my home within an hour or so. An hour or so later Kyle showed up. Super polite young man. My husband pointed him to where the pump was and we went about what we were doing. Awhile later he let my husband know that he was done and showed him what he had done. Kyle is a great plumber. He works very efficiently and clean. I am adding a photo of to show off his great work. In our humble opinion, that young man deserves a raise!! Having a home warranty saved us a ton of money but I'd pay market value for Kyle's work, it was that good. Anytime I need a plumber I will definitely be calling Wilbourn & McCabe Plumbing and will recommend them to all of our friends and anyone that is looking for a recommendation.

Then he acted like he did not know how to get under this house. The home is in the historic district. It is well over 100 years old. We spent our stimulus money on a new metal roof. Grandkid lost their job, got evicted. Moved in house. Had domestic violence. House was trashed and not clean. Had been getting rid of old carpet. Need water to clean properly. He took a photo of the trash, told me he was not being judgemental but he was. How can a plumber not get dirty? They work with sewage. He refused to do the estimate. I hope to let whoever contracted this company know about his having contempt prior to investigation. Or maybe just a bad day. He certainly did not care about my family as customers.
