Tom the owner managed to completely ruin our event by threatening to not show if we didn't pay him cash on top of already paying a deposit by check months prior to the event and than paying the balance by credit care one week before the event. Oh. My. Word. If I could give zero stars, I would. We had a horrible experience with the Media store. It started with the blond boss lady greeting us with "is that your truck? The tables won't fit." Um, Hi. How are you? (btw, the man that loaded up our truck was wonderful and fit all 7 tables and 50 chairs in.) We unloaded the tables at home and I thought I'd just raided a trash dumpster for them. Seriously. I called the next day to complain and was told "Well it's our busy season, so you got the dregs." I'm sorry. What? No apology. Just a "well, we just got some tables returned, so we'll come switch them out." Which they did. (and again, the man that came and switched the tables was super nice.) The "new" tables were barely better, however. Fast forward to returning them. Our party was on Saturday, and the rental place is closed on Sunday. So, after work on Monday, I called to say "I know you close at 5, so I'm calling to say I will be there right around then." A woman stated "well, that's cutting it close." Um, where are your people skills? My son and I pulled up at 5:00pm on the dot. The yard gate was closed and locked. The original rude blond woman was standing outside the gate with a dog, having clearly left work BEFORE 5pm. I rolled down the truck window and the lady said "We close at 5. The gate is locked and I don't have a key." She didn't even PRETEND to care. A car with two men in day-glo shirts pulled up next to her, said something, and drove away. I'll bet they were the yard workers asking if she wanted them to help us. Clearly she did not. When I said she was going to have to pick the tables and chairs up, she said "It'll cost you $30." What?! I'm sure they'd pick them up at my house and drop them right to another customer during this "busy season"! Seriously, I have never experienced such poor customer service. I will never go back and I will recommend that no one I know does either. read more

My advice would be to stay far away from these con artists. The bait of switch on the delivery fee was absolutely ridiculous. I prepaid $80 for the delivery, was charged an additional $150. They delivery did not follow any of the facility requirements. I specified the delivery had to be made through the garage. Instead loud men showed having boisterous personal conversations dragging furniture through the public lobby during business hours at 9:30am without carts or floor protectors. I had an opportunity to virtually plan a friend's wedding. My first trip to Philly, I met with Nancy who helped me order everything I needed for the wedding. As the wedding approached, I thought of other things I would need. Whenever I called, the staff was very helpful. This was important to me as I was not able to simply walk in to their office. I needed pipe draping and they created a solution for my needs. They delivered the requested items promptly. There was a change needed with the table runners. I sent a photo of what I was expecting and had the correct color delivered in a short turnaround time. Thank you for helping me make my friend's wedding special! read more

There is no reason for ANYONE to work with this company. They are indeed horrible. We contacted this company for furniture and they over-quoted us by $100. We said NOT to run our credit card as we will confirm after checking other vendors. We found a much better vendor A-to-Z rental. On the day of our event we noticed extra furniture which we called A-to-Z rental who said it's ok and that they will not charge us. It was only 3 weeks later that we noticed ALL EVENT PARTY Rental charged us. We never confirmed with them and never received a receipt. Explaining this to their workers did not help because they spoke over me and yelled at me then had male representative to call me only to say the same thing than use EXPLETIVE language and say "I have your money, tough" then hang up. Literally the worst buying experience ever. As a Design/Build Firm I have been purchasing goods and services for over 30 years. My experience with All Event Party Rental was a disaster. Instead of politely saying thanks but no thanks your project is too small they eagerly took my money and proceeded to provide the worst service I have ever had. I requested a site visit twice to make sure the proper tables and chairs were ordered. They refused to come out they stated that they used Google Maps and that would be sufficient. The tents and tables didn't all fit when their delivery team Kenny, Lamar and Samuel tried to set up what I had paid for. I contacted the office and spoke to Jenn who was extremely rude and she put Michael on the phone. Michael proceeded to tell me "no offense" but your job is too small for us to come out. I told him they should have told me the job was too small to begin with. The on-site guys did their very best to make one of the tents and tables work and then called the office to issue a credit to my debit card. The office said they would but 5 days later no credit and Jenn remains as rude as usual saying there was nothing more they could do. It went through on their end and they have never had a credit not go through before. All in all the on-site guys Kenny, Lamar and Samuel were excellent but Jenn and Michael are rude and dishonest. Their customer service was appalling! We had to cancel because the event was going to be outside and the weather was forecast as severe thunderstorms. We were told that even though we gave them 24 hour notice, they would have to take the full amount of the rental, including delivery. When I requested they deliver since they were not refunding any of the money, they offered to charge an additional $40.00 but deliver a day after our event. The woman that the owner had speak with us said we should refer to the contract. The contract may have cancelation fees hidden in the small print, but it is not a highlighted section of the contract. read more

I just experienced one of their drivers today, talking on the phone while driving a large truck, coming from the opposite direction. He swerved the truck in front of me, causing me to have to slam on the breaks. There was literally no one behind me, so he could have easily waited 5 seconds to make a safe turn. If this is the type of people this company employees, there is no way I would hire them to come anywhere near my home or family. By reading some of the other reviews, seems this is par for the course at this company. read more

Very happy with All Event. Rented 4 umbrella tables with chairs for a baby shower. While there was a mixup with the drop off (was told delivery would be on Friday, they arrived on Thursday due to a miss communication) Everything arrived in good condition and was picked up promptly Monday afternoon. They had the most reasonable prices including delivery fee of all the places we called, and the extended rental period (event was on Saturday, but had the equipment the full weekend) was amazing. Overall, we will definitely use again for our next large event! read more

I had the best experience from start to finish. I rented tent (20x40)tables,chairs and linen for my Moms memorial service the professionalism and courtesy they showed me was excellent. Saturday (9/24/16) Day of event NEVER, EVER, EVER use this place! Customer Service sucks! They told me originally they would be there before my event started, then they got my money. On the day of the event, I called back just to double check the time, then they told me they could not give me a time for my delivery, ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT. One hour rolls by, then two, three, four now I'm in full panic mode! I called Saturday when there office opened and until it closed. Thank god, this wasn't a wedding event, but equally as important. Usually I'm more thorough. I should have done more research. Timing and I guess I was impressed by the website too...."what glitters, isn't always gold".......they didn't even supply all equipment listed and they didn't have a refund policy posted **Buyer Beware**. The driver finally arrived one hour before the memorial event ended. Needless to say we didn't accept the delivery because it was too late and we already made some other last minute arrangements...that actually worked. Monday (9/25/16) Tom did say he would issue a refund after speaking with his driver, so once the refund is received.. I may change my rating, luckily we talked to the delivery driver, when he finally came at 4:06pm..one hour before my event ended. read more

Event day (6/17/17) Customer Service is lacking and the Management is rude and obnoxious!!!! I rented a tent, some tables, chairs and tablecloths from this company. The equipment was in great condition. Originally I had ask for gold tablecloths but later requested to have it changed to another color. I was told they didn't have the color I wanted and another color was offered, I was unsure if that color would work but decided two days before the event that I will take the color offered because the original gold color would not work. I was told they no longer had that color and requested to be sent white instead. I was told they will see what can be done and get back to me if there was a problem. However no one got back to me and I assume I would be getting white tablecloths, however on the day of delivery the gold ones were delivered. I called and spoke to a supervisor Mrs. Mann who very rudely told me that nothing could be done and there was no remedy offered for the non response on their part. I was charged for the tablecloths and she was not very pleasant on the phone. I will not be using them for any future party needs. read more

The equipment provided was in very poor condition. They were willing to replace the chairs, but the replacements sent were just as bad. Chair back and legs were rusty and scraped. They were also filthy and we had to wash all the seats. One of the umbrella stands was so bent we couldn't use it. Very disappointed. read more

I used Taylor Rental Media for my son's graduation party this year and I was very satisfied. Everyone was very helpful in helping me figure out what sizes and what things to rent, and the men were very nice who delivered the equipment. The party went off without a hitch! read more

this is the worst service and people i have ever met in a business. i asked for help putting a grill on my truck. lisa in the office said its a liability. i told her i was injured and she then said "are you a big tipper" so when i went out back some rude black dude rolled the 5x2 steel grill did not say a word and walked away. {so if i gave a big tip liability would not matter}. lisa and her so called workers are a disgrace to even be in a customer based business.. 0 stars and the grill was broke and gross with olf food and grease. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE...We reserved folding chairs for my son's graduation party only to be told when we went to pick them up that they were out of chairs. They weren't even apologetic, nor could they offer me another option on where I could get chairs. I had to find an alternative on my own with less than 24 hours before the party. I will never even consider using them again...very disappointed!!! read more

For the second time in two years (fool me once....) I have rented tables and chairs from this place and I will NEVER do it again. The chairs come scratched and filthy and I have had to scrub every one of them. When bringing this to the attention of the people at Taylor, they quickly blame the warehouse..I point out that it is ultimately their responsibility. This morning the 72" round table came (btw they do not go in your house..be prepared to have lots of help carrying this heavy table inside) and the bolts were hanging off the hinge which attaches the heavy wood to the metal legs - and NO LUGS were on at all. Fortunately my husband is handy and was able to spend 30 minutes finding lug nuts to attach to the bolts,,absurd. and the delivery charge is outrageous. Go to the other Taylor on the mainline for much better service all the way around. AVOID TAYLOR RENTAL in MEDIA at all costs!!! read more
