I wanted to report an incident at Dick's Sporting Goods store in Ontario OH on August 14th. I went…read moreto the store with some pairs of new shoes that I just wanted to exchange for different sizes. They called manager named David over , he looked at those shoes carefully and he came into back room and talked to loss prevention, he came out and said he he will not let me exchange or return because he could not prove it came from Dick's store, even though there are stickers from Dick's on the shoes boxes ( ?) When I left the store , unbelievable thing happened, I was stopped by a police officer , he said he got call from stores (?) that I tried to return without receipts , so he wanted to know what was going on and he wanted to see receipts on some shopping bags in my car ( ?) . Of course I have all the receipts on those shopping bags. The thing is that Dick's Sporting Goods in Ontario OH will call police if you bring something in without receipts and try to return or exchange. I think it's racial discrimination because I'm Asian. I've never been to this Dick's store before and I never returned anything at any Dick's store without receipts before, so it's not about return abuse or anything. Just be aware of this store , and when I contacted corporate office all they said was the store had the right to refuse return for no reason ( ? ). Be aware if you buy something at Dick's sporting Goods and want to return and you don't keep receipts. One thing to say the store never offered to find receipts for me, which I think it can be done, but they never offered to do so

A lot of product in the store overall, everything was neatly placed and there was a good amount of apparel in each section. I think it's fairly priced, some items were over priced but nothing that I wouldn't expect. I bought two mugs and a magnet for 40$, seems like a fair trade to me.

Inferior, poor quality work, incompetent worker…read more Wasted 6 weeks for what took another shop to do in basically a day! Took art work in (that had actually been created by a draftsman while working at another silk screen shop). J & R said art work needed to be revised into a different format by my original draftsman. So had to contact draftsman, who had since moved out of state. A few weeks later he sent them artwork in another format. J and R said artwork still needed to be revised by original draftsman. So again had to have the original draftsman get in contact with J and R to revise artwork. Took J & R another 3-4 days to do a silk screen and print a sample shirt. The silk screen was soooo sloppily done - color placement didn't match-up with design, outline of the wording poorly done, etc... Plus the design was waaay too small - only 8 inches instead of the normal 10 1/2 or more (as shirts were for all adults sizes including many XL - 3XL sizes). I asked J & R to please enlarge design. They said they couldn't, 8 in was as large as they could do. I had worked with other silk screen shops and never heard of this problem. Eventually they said, that if I wanted it larger I'd have to have my original drafsman re-do the design point by point, and separate out this and that ?? .... So, I then immediately went to another silk screen shop (Screen Printing Unlimited) and not only were they able to use the original artwork, they had no problem making it larger. And just 3 days later and with absolutely no hassles, I had all my shirts. They looked sooo much better than the inferior silk screen shirts, J & R had done. Plus, they were cheaper, as well! Oh, and funny thing, after I left J & R, they called me the next day. The worker there said she had her daughter enlarge the silkscreen to 11 inches and she would print me up another shirt sample. Hmmm, apparently she didn't t know how to do her job or was too lazy to do it ( or a combination of both) and for 6 weeks she kept having me get my original draftsman do what she should have been able to do.
