    All Flooring USA combines poor workmanship with even worse customer service to create an experience so miserable that you'll spend the rest of your days contemplating what you might've done in a past life to deserve such a punishment. Dealing with this company proved so frustrating that I actually ended up firing them as we entered the third month of my two-week project (that's not a typo, you read that correctly) even though I had already paid them $16,980. It then cost me an additional $5,000 to have a second flooring company re-do my staircase and make numerous repairs to my brand new floor. Consider for a moment just how awful a company has to be for someone to decide they'd rather take these types of financial losses than continue dealing with them. Yeah... I could write a book about the many things that made this a horrible experience; the concrete slab that was never leveled, the numerous gaps between the floorboards that were filled with horrible-looking black caulk, the broken baseboards that they tried to hide from me, the T-moldings that were the wrong color and material, the cigarette butts that were left all around my property; the list truly goes on and on (honestly, these guys could botch laying down an area rug). But these reviews have character limits and so I'll focus on the worst part of it all: my staircase. On what was literally the day after my project was "completed", the wood on my staircase began to come undone. Another contractor (a house painter) nearly fell down my stairs when the wood broke apart underneath his foot. All Flooring USA offers a "lifetime guarantee" on their installations, but I got the runaround for two weeks as I tried to get this problem addressed. I ultimately had to resort to emailing the owner, Hector, and threatening to dispute all charges with my credit card company. Only then did they have time for me. Hector came out to inspect the project himself and agreed that the entire staircase needed to be redone, top to bottom. They immediately sent out a new installer to begin making repairs but he actually left the staircase in worse condition than he found it. He spent all day ripping apart three steps and then told me he didn't have the necessary materials to make the repairs. Although they promised to re-do the entire staircase from scratch, he apparently had been tasked with trying to reuse all the same wood. Since the wood was all glued down, this proved impossible (you'd think flooring professionals would've already known this beforehand). I spent the next month communicating my expectations to Sam, the store manager, as we waited for the new materials to arrive. The project had been a nightmare up to this point but I remained optimistic because Sam seemed to agree with every issue I brought up. In the end I realized that this is just their way of operating; they say "yes" to everything regardless of their actual ability to deliver on their promises. On the scheduled start date for repairs nobody showed up for work or called to reschedule (the third time throughout the project they pulled a no call/no show on me). I was furious and let Sam know that, especially since he had confirmed on Friday afternoon that work would begin on Monday morning. He basically told me he has no idea where his workers are at any given time and can't be expected to know this information (reminder: he's the manager). He also told me that with this being construction work, any dates he gives me are just approximations. What?! While I can understand that other projects can take longer than expected, causing dates to have to be shifted around, I don't understand why nobody can call to reschedule an appointment when they realize this is the case. Instead they just don't show up (even after confirming with you) and then get mad at you for being annoyed by this. Three times they did this to me! I spent the next two days talking with both Sam and the installer who was supposed to be at my house. They just blamed each other and gave me differing timelines for the repairs. At this point I couldn't take the nonsense any longer and decided to cut my losses. I asked for a partial refund and was denied based on the fact that they were providing me materials. Fine, whatever. I just wanted to be done with these guys. So I asked for my materials, at which point Sam stopped communicating with me. I had to send him several emails over two days and once again lean on the possibility of disputing the credit card charges if they didn't supply the partial refund or the materials I paid for. Sam never got back to me but I received an immediate phone call from the installation manager, Fred, who promised to bring the materials later that day. Seriously, avoid these guys unless maybe you're getting divorced and your ex will be getting the house and you want to leave them with a big headache to deal with.

The work that was done was beautiful, the bathroom turned out exactly as we imagined it and we can't really ask for more than that. We were interrupted twice because of hurricanes which delayed the work but no one can help that. The biggest issue we had was communication from the team. From what I understood, TEK utilizes third party contractors to do specific jobs like drywall, electric, plumbing, etc. So some times people were coming on days we were told no one was coming. Some days we were told someone was coming at 8 and they'd never show. The reason that was most frustrating was because we had to plan our day around when a contractor would be home, like our daughter's nap schedule, our dog's potty schedule, and even our work schedules. We're lucky enough to have a ton of flexibility but if we hadn't, that really would've dragged the project out. Other than the communication about when the team would be coming though, I have no complaints about TEK or the work that was done. I think the communication bit is an easy fix and I do understand the hurricanes made it especially difficult some weeks. Overall: we got a beautiful bathroom done for a great price, the TEK team was great and the only issue we had was some miscommunication.

    This is my personal experience with Tek Contracting/Tek Construction Group…read more I will keep this straight to the point and let the photos speak for themselves. This is a kitchen & bathroom reno + flooring for my 750 sqft apartment. I selected my materials at their warehouse during my design session. What was supposed to be a 4 week job is now coming up to 4 months. The majority of these photos are from the final walkthrough June 3rd, 2025. You will see: Mis-match color cabinets installed, which are also not aligned, Incorrect countertop installed, using scrap pieces, Backsplash grout already cracking, Missing hardware for cabinets, Microwave cannot open entirely, and the outlet does not work, Required GFCI outlets missing - major safety hazard, Incorrect color & style bathroom floor tile installed, Mis-match shower tile installed, Shower niche missing, Grout in shower already cracking, Shelving in bathroom vanity missing, Baseboards unfinished and completely missing in areas, Incorrect color LVP flooring installed, Back door hinges are missing screws - major safety hazard, I caught the back door open one night (who knows how many times that has happened), Open wiring in the attic - major fire hazard, These are ONLY the materials & issues that have not been corrected along the way. There were plenty more issues. Addressing them with the owner did not help. Used materials installed from previous jobs without consent (verbal and physical evidence of this). They have requested all invoices early/ before they were due. The 3rd draw was requested early 4 times. On the 4th request personally from the owner, I paid early under his confirmation that cabinets would arrive in 2 days. It took a few weeks before the cabinets were installed, and installed incorrectly. It took another 6 weeks to 'correct', and at the final walkthrough, they are mis-matched colors, not all have shelving, and they are unaligned.

Laid everything out infront of us so there were no surprises. We wanted to ensure that there was just one person to talk to about this job and that they would do what needed to be done.
