We contacted Ken of All Goods Hauling (originally had found him by searching internet for hauling), and he called us back within a few minutes. We scheduled a time to meet, and he arrived very promptly with his assistant Cooper. Ken and Cooper quickly assessed the hot tub and cover that we wanted to remove from the front balcony of our second story, carefully made a plan to safely dismantle and remove the old hot tub, and then executed the plan flawlessly. I was frankly a bit terrified that getting all of that stuff off the property was going to be a nightmare, but Ken came out to take a look very quickly after I messaged him and gave me a fair and reasonable estimate. Unfortunately just before we got started, the winter rainy season came through and made the lot tough to reach by car, later developing into a washout / landslide which took out part of the access road to the lot. This delayed the junk hauling work until I was able to repair the road and the storms had subsided for the season. We found All Goods Hauling using the internet, as we were trying to dispose of our old hot tub. Ken of All Goods Hauling called us right back, after we left a vm on their business phone. We had thought we would need to hire a crane to remove the hot tub from the front balcony on the second floor of our home - which we had researched to cost hundreds of dollars. Ken suggested to my wife, he could cut the old hot tub into pieces and remove it from the second floor balcony. Brilliant thinking! We scheduled a date to have Ken meet us. Ken showed up on time (Actually, he arrived 10 minutes early! That earned points in my book.) ready to work, along with his hardworking, strong, young kind professional son Cooper. They immediately got to work, backing up their truck, dismantling the hot tub wood frame, and carefully maneuvering the hot tub from under a metal stairway. They were precise, dexterous, skilled, smart, respectful, alert - and being careful and thoughtful. The was important to me as I and they did not want to damage any surrounding structures as they worked. Father Ken and Son Cooper made a masterful team! It was a delight to see such amazing teamwork! In less than an hour, they had successfully moved this hot tub into their truck. They also stayed to sweep up (using their own broom and dustpan) the front balcony, removing all debris. I loved their "can do, will do" great attitude. I had been a little nervous about how they were going to safely remove this old hot tub - but they did it in an efficient, professional, thoughtful, comprehensive way- and I found myself applauding (inside to myself) their ingenuity, combined strength and actions- after they had completed the job. Let me start by saying this - Ken is the man. You're going to be hard-pressed to find someone who is as fair priced, responsive, effective, and just an all-around great guy when you're in a pinch. And in a pinch we found ourselves the last day of our move. Classic bait and switch by the moving company, who screwed us so badly I'm going to warn every Yelper know about them...but I digress. So in a bad situation I realize we have a full load of "stuff" that needs to go out. And it can't fit in our car, in our camper, or anywhere else in our trash. It needs to go to the dump (which I'd made two runs to that morning already). How do we get rid of the stuff? Yelp! Found Ken on there and a few others but he responded back with such a cool and chill demeanor that I knew we'd use him. True to his word he showed up, looked at our things and said "yeah, I got this, no problem" and then we chit-chatted for a bit. Fellow veteran too, so props to that and no funny money things. He grabbed everything, made sure it was all clean, and then sent me pics. Oh but it gets better. After EVERYTHING is done, at 10pm on Friday night, I realize there's still another load of stuff. And guess what? I have to leave at 4am to hit the road and can't make it to the dump, which is closed until Monday. Let me text Ken and see if he can help with this one as well.
