We still "discuss" the time we arrived at Reykjavik full 4 hours before flight time, after she turned me down for a nice Lunch in town. One of mine is being able to return a rental car with a full tank. This means finding an available gas station close enough to the airport, while keeping the gage on "F". In the case of getting to YYT (St. John's) for our flight to YYZ (Toronto), we arrived 2 and a half ours ahead and we filled up at this Esso station. For future reference, there's a closer petrol station right by the Airport. As for my customer experience, it was an easy in/easy out and a straightforward fill up as expected.

I have taken previous vehicles here for service in the past including my Mercedes Benz sedan and Land Rover SUV. I am planning on bringing my new Mercedes Benz SUV here for service and maintenance as well. There are lots of great garages in the city, but specialists in European Imports are rear. They also sell Import Auto Parts as well! I have seen VWs, Audis, Volvos, Mercedes, BMWs and Land Rovers in the past at C&C. Great small local Import Shop.

They will also shop around for you to make sure that they get you the right parts for the best price. The slight downside is that they don't make appointments. It's first come, first serve. I recommend that if you have a big job that needs a fair amount of time to do, to call ahead first to see when a good day of the week would be to bring it in.

I went into the Toyota Plaza service department to have them look at it and, while it was in, do an oil change. I was ecstatic that they were able to get me right in and out that afternoon. I was so relieved that I wasn't stuck for days on end waiting to get in. Moreover, everyone was so friendly and helpful--from the service writer, to the tech, to the runners in the reception drive up area! While nobody's happy about unexpected vehicle repairs, they did everything possible to make it as bearable as possible!!
