Even though their terms and conditions do not…read morestate it (you get the surprise in the email they send after you agree to deal with them), they expect you to be able to support a 12 hour delivery window and reserve the right to change to a day earlier. If you aren't there when they arrive, they can charge an extra fee. The delivery went okay (showed up around 5 pm the day before our event) and the tables and chairs were adequate. After the event, they postponed the pickup by a day, then still couldn't commit to a time. They called 15 minutes before they arrived. We were both working, but thankfully relatives were able to cover us. For some reason, maybe because there aren't many other options, they appear on "Locals Love Us". We didn't love our experience and will probably be looking for another option next time. We have had good customer service from K&K in the past, but weren't aware they rented this sort of equipment. Hint: They do.

I rented a 20' x 40' canopy from AAA Rental in Moline for my mother's Celebration of Life on June…read more19, 2026. The celebration was at 3pm on June 20th. I returned it on the morning of June 22 after taking great care of it throughout the rental. Four adult men carried the canopy, still in its storage bag, to my backyard where it was rolled out and set up on grass. It rained on June 19, but the following day was sunny and dry. Because rain was forecast again for June 21, we took the canopy down immediately after the celebration, allowed it to dry, stored it in my garage overnight, and returned it at 9:00 a.m. on June 22. On June 30, I received an email stating they were keeping my $90 deposit because the canopy was allegedly returned wet, dirty, and covered with black marks. I completely disagree with these claims. The canopy already showed years of wear when we received it, and we returned it dry and in the same condition it was rented. Since it rained several times after we returned it, I have no way of knowing how it was stored once it was back in their possession. I believe it is unfair to charge customers for pre-existing wear or for conditions that may have occurred after the equipment was returned. As a real estate professional with over 25 years of experience, I understand how important honesty, communication, and customer service are. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of those standards. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend AAA Rental and will not rent from them again.
