We rented chairs and tables for a graduation party. Even though their terms and conditions do not state it (you get the surprise in the email they send after you agree to deal with them), they expect you to be able to support a 12 hour delivery window and reserve the right to change to a day earlier. If you aren't there when they arrive, they can charge an extra fee. The delivery went okay (showed up around 5 pm the day before our event) and the tables and chairs were adequate. After the event, they postponed the pickup by a day, then still couldn't commit to a time. They called 15 minutes before they arrived. We were both working, but thankfully relatives were able to cover us. For some reason, maybe because there aren't many other options, they appear on "Locals Love Us". We didn't love our experience and will probably be looking for another option next time. We have had good customer service from K&K in the past, but weren't aware they rented this sort of equipment. I rented a 20' x 40' canopy from AAA Rental in Moline for my mother's Celebration of Life on June 19, 2026. The celebration was at 3pm on June 20th. I returned it on the morning of June 22 after taking great care of it throughout the rental. Four adult men carried the canopy, still in its storage bag, to my backyard where it was rolled out and set up on grass. It rained on June 19, but the following day was sunny and dry. Because rain was forecast again for June 21, we took the canopy down immediately after the celebration, allowed it to dry, stored it in my garage overnight, and returned it at 9:00 a.m. on June 22. On June 30, I received an email stating they were keeping my $90 deposit because the canopy was allegedly returned wet, dirty, and covered with black marks. I completely disagree with these claims. The canopy already showed years of wear when we received it, and we returned it dry and in the same condition it was rented. Since it rained several times after we returned it, I have no way of knowing how it was stored once it was back in their possession. I believe it is unfair to charge customers for pre-existing wear or for conditions that may have occurred after the equipment was returned. As a real estate professional with over 25 years of experience, I understand how important honesty, communication, and customer service are. I walked in their over the weekend with an APPOINTMENT, and she was so INCREDIBLY RUDE after about 10 minutes I walked out after telling her just forget you are beyond rude. She went out of her way to make sure I knew how put out she was for even asking questions, spoke to me condescendingly, treated me like I was a bother. If it were possible they would have NO stars. We have an item for rental yet a change occurred. The contract says "no refunds" which I agree with, yet I wanted to float that money over to renting several chairs and tables, which would have been a large order and pay the $550 difference. The owners said "NO", The money is lost except for my deposit. Pretty sad customer service. So now I went to True Value where they put customers first, not over a barrel. So if you have an event and rent equipment from here pray to God there are no changes, you will be negative for funds and the company is not willing to work with you. Sad day for local small business owners. We always try to keep our money within these establishments to promote equality among business but AAA Rents is a taker, not customer satisfaction driver. read more

STAY AWAY FROM AAA Rents AT ALL COSTS If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. We had to postpone our 2020 wedding due to COVID and the owner would not guarantee a 2021 rebooking or refund our deposit. Mark, the owner, would continuously dodge our calls and have his wife, Nancy, pretend he wasn't there when we desperately needed to settle our rebooking. Every single wedding vendor we worked with understood the realities of a global pandemic except for AAA Rents, who just wanted to blame their business problems on the "Chinese Communists", as Mark put it. Reading other reviews, it is clear we are not the only people to experience issues with them. Most people cite rude customer service and our experience was no different. Even before the postponement issues, they were terrible to work with and we are so glad we had a different company to work with on our actual wedding day. They kept $4500 of our money and provided nothing but headaches. Mark continuously suggested that he was able to honor the contract signed for 2020 even though the government wouldn't even allow gatherings of our size at the time. Very dirty I recently rented 20 tables and 30 chairs for a fund raiser. We chose plywood top tables and the next to the lowest price chairs. When we went to set them up they were very dirty and required extensive cleaning. There was gum stuck under over half of the tables. While I did not expect perfection, I did expect usable tables, free of gum. When I asked to talk to someone about their condition I was told "Dave" would call me when he got in. He instead sent me an email and then would not answer or call me back. He had someone else call and tell me there would be no adjustment because I did not rent their best. His email mentioned the following, " I am sorry you had the expectation that our tables and chairs would be freshly cleaned for your orders. We do provide that service at a cost of 60 cents per chair and $3 per table." No mention of this was made when we placed our order. We were trying to keep the cost down, and had we known this, we would have gone elsewhere. Use caution when considering this company. I won't again. read more

I had my wedding this past weekend 10/3/20 and used AAA rents QC to rent some chairs, arbor and umbrella for my ceremony. We worked with several companies and they were all great to work with, except AAA Rents QC. Every company took the COVID situation into consideration when we had to make the date change and decrease in people and did not charge for anything. Nancy who I worked with was very rude and unprofessional during this whole process. We had to make changes to our order because of COVID restrictions and had to pay a fee to change our date and we had to decrease our chairs due to the COVID restrictions, but they still charged us for them. I know the options are few in the QC Area, but if you have any alternatives at all, use them. We had an outdoor wedding at the Renwick Mansion so we had to do a lot of renting. The tent, the dance floor, chairs, tables, etc. We already knew they were overpriced, but were willing to pay the extra dollar to not have to deal with doing things ourselves. Little did we know...we would still end up having to deal with doing things ourselves. Basically what was supposed to be a quick morning set up lasted right up until the 5 PM rehearsal. On top of the slow set up, they bothered us constantly throughout the day with questions even though we had set aside hours of our time before the event to go over everything IN DETAIL. We also had to stop by multiple times throughout the day to make sure they were setting up correctly (because initially they were NOT). On top of that, they quoted us a price to install Chinese Lanterns and then when I called to confirm, they said they no longer do the lanterns. We finally convinced them to do it for us, but had to agree that even if they don't set them up due to weather, we'd still have to pay 100%. Basically, we felt they didn't listen to a word we said during the planning process and then got angry at us when we couldn't be there the ENTIRE day before the wedding. Highly frustrating. The ONE star goes to Jenn. She worked very hard and was on top of things. However, one person does not get very far without a knowledgeable team in this case. read more

Should have read reviews prior to using their services. How is that they can keep the deposit for "missing" chairs when the return count is the same as the contracted agreed on count. The delivery staff said they left 5 extra chairs in case needed but this was not asked for or needed, and it is 5 chairs "missing" so the deposit is not being returned. No paper work requesting 5 extra chairs or delivery count for the "extra" chairs. Sketchy buisness practice. Will not use or recommend their services again. read more

If only there was an option for negative stars.... DO NOT rent from this place, it is an absolute racket/rip off. We gave the workers specific/easy details on how the tent is to be set up, and they did it completely wrong. After informing them that it was wrong, we showed them AGAIN how the tent is suppose to be. They verbally agreed, said they understood. When we came back at the end of the day it was still wrong. Most companies would have someone that is willing to work with the customer and figure out a solution, but when you call all you get is MARK. He said the tent was: "100% our fault". Through his extremely rude attitude, he did offer the solution of us re-paying so that it could be set up how we wanted it....... No matter what you say to MARK everything will be your fault, that's the AAA guarantee. So if you do rent from AAA, expect to babysit the workers the entire day, correcting them when they set up/do everything wrong. read more

I agree with others - Renter Beware! To make a long, whining post much shorter, suffice to say that you MUST go into the facility to see the actual chairs you will be renting. The samples shown at bridal expos and photos on the website are BRAND NEW chairs and not at all representative of what you will actually be renting. "Bright white on white frame" chairs are actually rusty with broken plastic and multiple not-bright-white colors. And while the men who bring the chairs out are helpful, and one young lady in the office is great, the rest of the office staff/owners are RUDE at best. Just make sure you check out the actual items to be rented, not just the samples they use to advertise what they have available -- which of course should be very similar -- but aren't! read more

Where do I begin? Many tears came were shed over these clowns. We were lucky enough to have to postpone out 2020 wedding to 2021 due to COVID. They were paid in full so we were at their mercy. They charge us an extra $500 since we had to reschedule. Not like it was up to us or anything. And refused to listen to any kind of reasoning on why they shouldn't be taking out the issues if COVID on their customers. I finally requested an in person meeting since all my emails and calls were ignored. Nancy had all my emails printed out when I got there and my new invoice with the fees and other items I added via email. The contract they have you sign does not allow for removing things and getting you money back, but you of course can always add more. Once they have your money, it's gone. Go from 200 people to 50? Tough luck, they keep your money and just bring 50 chairs like it's no big deal. Stealing is completely okay with them. My 6 year old son got to whiteness Mark in action making business personal and his mother leaving in tears driving home. If I could have found another rental business that late in the game I would have fired them and sued for my thousands of dollars back. They acted as if all the items I was renting had been sitting in a room waiting for me specifically, and not rented a million times over. He made it all about how they had lost so much money and had to make up for it somehow. I mentioned the PPP relief that he should have utilized verses passing it on to his customers, as if it was their fault. He pointed at my child and said that I got more money from the government too so I should be able to pay him. I mentioned their terrible reviews, they laughed at me and said they don't care. Dealing with them makes me want to go into the rental business just to take them out. I still might. The day of the wedding we were unable to use any linens due to the wind. No clips were provided, etc. They got them back clean and folded in the bags they came in. Lucky them, yet again. I wonder how many others have dealt with them and left wanting to call and attorney. If you are one to read reviews (thankfully people do these days) please consider any other route. This business should be avoided at all costs. I am a firm believer the things always happen for a reason, so I am confident they will not last much longer treating people like trash. Literally go anywhere else and you wont regret it. My husband and I rented chairs, tables, and table cloths from AAA for our wedding this past May thinking they were a reputable company. We originally asked for 80 chairs but going over our reservations I emailed the company and told them we only need 70 chairs for the day of. I didn't think anything of them not responding to the email as they told me just to email my final count. Well several weeks after our wedding was over we got accused of "stealing" because 5 chairs were supposably missing. My husband and I did everything in our power to try to find these so-called "missing" chairs. We even contacted the venue and spent extra time on our days off looking for them. But going over the emails back-and-forth with the company they stated that they delivered 80 and that five chairs are missing. When contacting the company they said that they never received my email that I only needed 70 chairs and that they were keeping my deposit. Even when I forwarded them the email AGAIN stating I only needed 70, they said they never received it. Oh and I'm leaving out, on the day of our wedding the delivery men literally left our venue then 30 minutes later came back because they forgot to deliver the high tops tables we rented. When they came back the guy said he would leave 5 extra chairs "just in case". So what I think is going on, is that someone did get my email that I only needed 70 chairs but they gave us five extra on the day of. But the contract was never updated on their end so they're trying to charge me for 80 chairs when only 75 were delivered and I stated in my email that I only needed 70. I think they messed up on their end and now they're being money hungry trying to cover their tracks. This company was super unprofessional with my maid of honor's wedding and now they're being messy with mine. Please do not use this company for your rentals. I rented a trough for pop and water, an ice cream machine and a keg cooler. The cooler was fine but the other items were over priced junk! The trough leaked all over our venue,therefore a guest had to run out and buy a mop and bucket for me. The ice cream machine never worked at all! I had purchased all these cones and bowls for the party just to waist my money. When I returned the items they blamed me. The staff repeatedly asked me if I was using the machine outside??? She claimed there was grass on the top of the machine. I asked her to show me and she said she had already cleaned it off...total lie!!!! The staff was as rude as possible. During my explanation the lady turned and walked away from me, Never received any compensation for all of my money and trouble. Never use this company!!!!!!! read more
