I called for transportation this afternoon. I asked the dispatcher how much would it be for my ride. I was told it will $9.14. I was traveling only 4 minutes from my home. Once the transportation arrived, the rude and arrogant driver ask me "Do you have enough money?" Without greeting me. The proceeds to tell my me ride will be $18. I canceled the ride. Requested a car on my UBER APP. THE PRICE UBER CHARGED ME WAS $9.15. The driver from All Island Transportation tried to get over on me. I called the dispatcher. Nothing was done. Where do I even begin with this nightmare. Unless you live near the Long Island railroad and you need a ride home from there..... This taxi service Is a big DON'T!!!!!!! If you are using this service to get back-and-forth to something important like work. When you need to be somewhere on time I would choose Another business. If I didn't wake up an hour earlier and beg for them to dispatch my car in the morning I'd have to spend the entire morning looking at my phone to make sure car was dispatched and then they also dispatch from third world countries so they don't have to pay a dispatch fee And these people who are dispatching your cars don't know exact time frames or estimates of time frames it can say 17 minutes for an hour on your phone like it has for me many many many times. There have been so many nightmares with these people. I give them one star for the 1% of people like one of the operators who helped me or tried to help me get my cars on time or the few drivers that cared. I appreciated those people. But as a customer who had guaranteed at least 7 rides a week Steady money that they claim I was some kind of VIP because I used them so often they sure did not treat me like one. My rides were often very late on both ends of the spectrum And And sometimes And sometimes I was forgotten about. Or times when I didn't order a car and it showed up anyway and then I got yelled at by the operator and the drivers were angry with me. While they might have good service sitting outside the Long Island railroad looking for people to take home, I really would not recommend using this place for any type of Time restraint reason. Also I found it very unprofessional that the manager owner Told me it was my fault that he couldn't give me cars and get to me on time because I was limited to certain vehicles. I used their service because I was healing from A Foot and leg injury. Excuse me if I couldn't climb in to an SUV or a Van Because I did not want to reinjure myself which is one of the main reasons I used them in the first place. How extremely unprofessional to say that to me. I wonder how they deal with impaired customers. Just disgusting. I have so many other stories but I think it would take up the entire Yelp page. They almost destroyed a family vacation , I used to use them for all trips to the airport I booked them a week ago and called the day of the trip to confirm the pickup it was for 4:45 pm at 4:55 we called and they said 10 minutes at 5:10 we called again and they said 4 minutes no concerns what so ever on their part that they dropped the ball bad and continued to lie We called again at 5:20 and said I need real answers they said 3 minutes I said listen have been lied to multiple times and the dispatch said you have not spoken to me . Who cares who I speak to should the truth be the truth ? I said please call the driver and verify I am going to miss my flight he said I have no way to contact s driver at that time I called for an Uber 10 minutes later after we were loaded up in the Uber the driver showed I asked do you have. I used to use them all the time. I booked for pickup to JFK then also booked the return when we come back. They almost ruined my family vacation causing stress and panic. I received txt they are on the way. I called and she said 15 min. My pickup time was 6:30pm its now 6:50 and I'm calling. Then the driver calls and says I'm here where are you? Im at home waiting. He says he's at JFK what a idiot. Called and cancelled. I got a Uber $15 cheaper. Then the 2nd guy sends me a txt saying "thanks for wasting my time and gas" two different people to aggravate me! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY WON'T SHOW UP..... If I could give a rating of zero I would. Called this company for a cab at 4:10 because my friend and I had a 5:40 train to catch and the train station is a 7 minute drive. They told me it would be 10 minutes. The cab never came and we missed our train. I called the cab company back 10 minutes later and they assured the drive was going to call us.. Ten more minutes went by and still no cab! and they would just pick up the phone and hang up. Beyond unprofessional and we called an uber instead and that came within less then 5 minutes. My mother hasn't driven in six years so I have to drive her anyplace not in walking distance. Mom doesn't have a smartphone so Uber (which I hate anyway) is not an option. Getting her to take a taxi has been a non-starter but yesterday she had no choice to make a doctor's appt. I easily arranged for All-Island to pick her up in East Rockaway and take her to RVC. Mom said Carlos the driver was early, right in front of her building, and a safe and friendly driver. I breathed a major sigh of relief when she called to tell me this. Also, the cab didn't smell of air freshener or cigarettes and Carlos didn't play any music or obnoxious talk radio. The fare was very fair, under $9 with or without Mom's senior discount. I got stuck at the Lynbrook LIRR again on Saturday night for 45 minutes? I booked the cab on Friday to pick me up on Saturday night at 12:35am. When I left the city, I called All Island Transportation to confirm and make sure they would be on time. They said "Yes". I got to the station and no taxi. I called them and was on hold for 15 minutes trying to get a dispatch agent to find out what happened to my cab? After 15 minutes, I gave up, called the # that was in my text message that originally confirmed my ride and could not get through there either. I then got a text that at 1:03 am that my taxi was on the way. They were SUPPOSED to be there at 12:35am not 1:10am. The driver called me and told me that he just got the call at 1am. I am DONE with All Island Transportation. I will schedule with Lyft from now on. At least when I schedule with Lyft, they are there when they are supposed to be. I was livid by the time I got home. I was told that my account would be high priority, after I got stranded there a few weeks prior and had to walk 1 1/2 miles home at 1am. That time, I booked the Taxi and when I got to the station, I was told that it was 1 1/2 hour wait. Then after the manager called me back on Monday, she said that there were no cars available at the time I needed the ride. So, what's the point of booking it? And why would they tell me at 11:55 PM that I would have my car there at 12:35 AM when I was scheduled? Some priority!!! read more

Too bad I couldn't indicate ZERO stars! Yesterday, 5/9/21, I used All Island's phone app to book a taxi (sedan) to transport us from our Lynbrook apartment to LIJ Valley Stream on 5/10/21 at 05:00 a.m. I received a confirmation text. Since the ride is about 10 minutes, and we needed to be at the hospital at 5:30, there was 20 minutes to spare. However, on 5/10, not only did the cab not show, but when I tried calling All Island, I could NOT access a live human; just Muzak. At 5:20 a.m., I called the Lynbrook police for assistance as mom's scheduled surgery was now in jeopardy! The police were very kind and helpful and even provided an officer to give us a lift. Thanks to the Lynbrook police department, mom made it on time. At 5:39 a.m., 39 minutes after my driver was due (and we were already at the hospital), All Island sent me a text saying their driver was on the way. That was their 1st communication relevant to the driver's status. read more

This is the worst taxi service out. We went to visit a summer camp in Roslyn after taking the LIRR train to Manhasset. The taxi driver got lost getting to the camp. He took 1.5 hours to get there. Then, he got lost going back to the train station and wanted to dump us in a parking lot rather than at the entrance to the station. I also had to tell him to stop calling and texting on his cell phone while driving us. Then, he got into an argument with us and demanded we pay him $38 for 2 adults and one child to go to the train station (less than 30 minutes away) when we only paid $9.75 from the train station to the camp. USE ANOTHER COMPANY unless you have friends in the area you can rely on! THIS COMPANY WILL LEAVE YOU STRANDED. I called for a cab at 5:01 to give me a return lift to the train station after working on a wedding all day. I was told that I would be picked up at my location within 20-25 minutes (are you serious?) and it had a very tight timeframe to catch the last NYC bound train. There was one at 532 and one at 540. At 543 (20 minutes later than they promised to be there) they called me...*after* another driver from a different company who was making a drop off at the venue took pity on me and tried to get me to another station where I might have a chance at catching a train back to civilization. Really? You say 20-25 and you show almost 45 minutes later? There are now NO TRAINS for at least an hour. I'm totally stranded. Thanks, you incompetent jerks. You have one job: to run a taxi service and dispatch drivers within the timeframe YOU promise to get people where they need to go and you failed miserably at it. If the pick up could not be completed within the timeframe you promised, it would have been not only professional but also decent to call me and let me know. read more

Worst service in the world!!! I was just driven to the airport and to make it easier on the driver he opted to drop me off in arrivals instead of departures. I needed to catch a plane and didn't have time to argue but I can assure you that I will never use this company again and I suggest that none of you out there do either. read more
