Made multiple mistakes and charged me for them and kept asking for more of the money after given half to start project so estimate went over (3) grand. Paid guy he suggested to repair another issue I was having just to find out money taken although no repair done. As I was catching up with his scam he road over my mailbox departing. Took advantage of a single older woman with a sick child. I quoted GA law which he was unaware of and now I see he has his own company and licensed. Putting this out there because I know how it's Hurt me financially since he wouldn't back up his work and I don't want this to happen to anyone else who may consider hiring him.

Can I give zero stars?…read more I recently purchased drywall for a full renovation project in my home. The drywall was delivered to my second floor through a window, but ended up causing damage to my ceiling on the first floor. The delivery was careless and fast. My contractor was present during the delivery while I worked in the office below. The product is heavy and as the individuals stacked it, it caused a lot of nail pops in my ceiling and the subfloor to loosen. All of this can be repaired but the worst part is the response I received from the owner, Donald Knight, when seeking a solution. He took absolutely no responsibility for the damage and preceeded to insult me throughout the conversation. The owner said that since the drywall boards are intact, it could never have caused the damage I described, meanwhile laughing at me on the phone, LAUGHING, as I described what I saw with my own eyes as it was happening. He suggested that my house isn't built to code and continued to mansplain to me how homes are built , as if a woman has no knowledge whatsoever about renovations. It was absolutely appalling. I have never been treated so unprofessionally and offensively by a company in my life. The mother company, Foundation Building Materials based in CA, seemingly has a wonderful mission and vision statement, ensuring integrity and care in all exchanges with customers. They have high expectations for their services and employees, but this is NOT what I experienced in the least. Get your supplies and service elsewhere.

Held to their quote and provided additional charges should there be unexpected issues on the decking once old roof was removed. No surprises Top quality materials used. They even took care of small details. Vent pipes and exhaust vent were painted to match the new roof. Crew was on time and finished the job as expected. I hired Jeff because I needed to…read moreremodel a home that was over a hundred years old and needed to be sure someone had the same vision I did. I wanted to repurpose parts of the home, move windows and doors, and preserve the original details of my home. Most of the other contractors I spoke to told me things that I wanted could not be done but after speaking with Jeff he told me anything can be done! And he made everything happen. My original design for my master bedroom and bathroom which required two front rooms to be reconstructed looks exactly as the finished product. Jeff had to move windows floorboards walls and make repairs as he went. Remember this house was over a hundred years old. I had original hard pine flooring which he preserved. All of his contractors were top-notch. Even baseboards that were original to this home had to have special knives cut to reproduce the original design and Jeff made it happen! I have had other work done in other homes prior to this that were not even difficult projects that did not go as well as this one. Jeff made everything easy with his communication and his professional workers and was very attentive to details. When my brother-in-law who helped me to draw up the original design came to the home to look at the finished work he kept staring at it shaking his head! When I asked him why he was so surprised at the finished room he said "I know I helped you draw up the design but I didn't actually think they would be able to do it!"
