I was so shocked to see a line out the door for people waiting to come in the DMV. They said the workers were at lunch until 1, yet everyone in the line had an appointment at 1pm. It was about 40 degrees outside and me and about 25 other people all sat there until they got back from lunch and slowly let one person in at a time. Once I got in there, things moved a little faster. Check in was easy. You show your appointment confirmation email and they send you to a cubicle number to sort out your information. That was all quick, but waiting to take the picture took about 25 minutes. The first 15 minutes of that time was spent waiting in line at the next cubicle desk for the girl to look my way and the line's way forming behind me. When she finally noticed us, there was about 4 or 5 people behind me. We took our pictures and waited for the ID to print. Thank God this doesn't have to be done but every 4-8 years because it's a hassle.

This court order grants such authority. I arrived with all required documents, including my driver's license, my dad's titles, and the signed certified true copy of the court order. The two individuals told me that they don't know anything about this process and don't know if legally they can do it. DID I MENTION I SHOWED THEM A SIGNED CERTIFIED TRUE COURT ORDER? They were rude to me and not sympathetic to the fact that my dad died just 2 months ago and now they are making this process wholly heartbreaking. Worthless business with incompetent owners/staff who don't know the pertinent laws. I can file a motion to compel them to follow the court order and make them pay my attorney fees and court costs for the hassle but who has time for that? I recommend you avoid this place like the plague. They are a dime a dozen and the next place I went to (the actual DMV) processed me with no hassles.

That really creeped me out and I told them that I don't give out my phone number. They said okay and finally gave me the quote.
