His calm, kind, and clear instructions helped me to feel more confident behind the wheel with every lesson. Ejas always took the time to explain things thoroughly and made sure I understood not just how to drive, but the exact techniques and rules necessary for safe driving. The lessons were always well-structured and I felt at ease with him at all times. Not only that, but he also checked in on my welfare, my family's welfare, and always made sure I was doing okay. What I appreciated most was the encouragement, positive attitude, and forgiving nature. When I made mistakes, forgot to reply, and even made his life a little harder sometimes, he always remained patient and helped me without feeling discouraged. Thanks to his guidance, I not only felt well prepared and confident behind the wheel, but passed my G2 test on the first try. The instructor, Saad, and I agreed to meet up at 12:30 pm, but 30 minutes before our meeting he suddenly texted to change it to 2:15 pm I could not make it since I had other plans. I got fed up because this wasn't the first time he switched the meeting time at the last minute so I called the school to ask if they could switch my instructor. Guess what happened? They told me to pay 40 dollars for the cancellation fee when Saad was the one who repetitively changed the meeting time at the last minute. Additionally, at the end of my first lesson, he pulled out his phone and started filming me, and pressured me to talk about how much of a "great instructor" he was. Not to mention that during the lesson, he played a recorded video of another student complimenting his lesson. He also followed me to my workplace (as I had my work shift just after my driving lesson), and he started to advertise his driving lessons to my co-workers, which also made me feel uncomfortable. Anyhow, in addition to their ridiculous demand of 40 dollars fee, they were very aggressive during the phone call: they completely disregarded my complaints about his unprofessional behaviours and proceeded to shift all the blame onto me. There is NO way a driving school as unprofessional, unorganized, and utterly incompetent as this one should operate.

He doesn't return calls. So far my son only received 5 lessons, no road test booked and no communication as to when these will be done. This has been happening for almost one entire year! I've left multiple messages and no response! I would NEVER recommend this driving school to anyone! This is so sad as my intention was to support my local community small business. NOTE: I've paid Pat fully for 10 lessons and a road test. 5 more lessons are still outstanding and road test to be scheduled. Come one A+ (Pat) do better!!

In…read moreclass lessons was okay.However, i was very, very disappointed when it was time for in car lessons, the instructor Debbie K. took a month to book and worst she'll do a 45 min only lessons each time! What can a first time driver learn in such a short period ? To top it all, in the 2 times my daughter had her lessons with her, she was late for 10 minutes!!! she did not make up for the lost time and she will drop her off 5 minutes early. In effect, the lessons were just for 30 minutes!!!! I felt so short changed because I'm paying for every minute of the lessons. So i decided to transfer to another location, Markham, which have a better instructor in the person of Cory. Should have started all lessons in their Markham branch. Uxbridge was a bad, bad choice.

Scheduling was difficult (they only have the one instuctor for Uxbridge/Port Perry area). When my son finished his in car lesson's in January we were told they would contact him for the ministry testing -they didn't. Eventually they offered his road test in May - we went ahead without them and he got it by himself in March. Delays, delays, delays, excuses, excuses, excuses! Administration for YD is awful (and you will end up dealing with them due to errors on their part). Also beware the extra Road Test package is not '4 lessons' and the test as stated it's 4 'sessions; session 1 = drive to locatation of test, session 2 = prep lession in car before test, session 3 = use of their car for test, session 4 = driving home from test. Very misleading and they are not interested in being more up front to consumers until your 2nd to last in car lesson. As a YD grad of 30+ yrs myself I had signed up my 17yr son but definately will avoid them for my next 2 kids - thankfully there are a lot of defensive driving schools to chose from know - YD is no longer alone in it's field.

A year ago, I tried taking my G test with instructors from other driving schools and ended up failing twice. I had to get my G2 all over again so I went back to Zameer and he helped me passed again in Aurora (First try!). Today we went to take my G test and I FINALLY PASSED!!! I am so happy that I decided to go back to Zameer, I wish I went to him earlier for my G. He is the best instructor, he gives you all the tips and tricks to being a safe and confident driver in order to pass all the road tests. I highly recommend him, especially if you're a new driver and can't get much practice on your own. His driving school is award winning (2018 and 2019 consumer choice award, and 2019 top choice award). You know you're in good hands!

The first instructor showed up an hour before the actual schedule and thankfully my son was home at the time to complete the lesson. Then the instructor cancelled on my son the next time and went radio silent when my son tried to get his lesson scheduled. I called to get another instructor and the person on the phone said we will get him another one. Guess what? SAME THING with this instructor. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS SCHOOL. I am willing to make adjustments to this review if we actually get serviced and get the driving lessons done. We paid almost $1000.00 and not getting serviced. That's not acceptable.

I went with their online go at your own pace lessons and 10 hours in person driving. The online…read moreportions is nice but there are a lot of flaws with the system one being if you were to go back by accident after completing something you would have to wait/do it all over again which can get annoying. Also when you finish the online portion do not forget to do the review at the end as that is what completes the online portion and allows you to move into the in person driving lessons. Online Learning portion 6/10 nice to go at your own pace. For the driving portion I had 10 hours with my driver though it did take another 3 weeks until I had my lessons with my instructor. The Instructor I had was Mujahid he is really nice and knows what he is doing, I heard from friends that a lot of the time the Instructor books classes back to back which means a student would drive to your house and you would drive them back to theirs, well Mujahid does not do that which was great because it feels awkward with a random stranger in the back while you are trying to learn. Driving portion is overall 10/10 with Mujahid. After that I took the test though I did not past the first time it was just bad luck with the evaluator at the DriveTest center. Second time I past right away at a different location. Props to Mujahid he knows what he is talking about.
