I believe my Mom has been stolen from at the property and because she has been vocal about this and upset the caregiver involved and the on care manager are attempting to create a scenario to remove her from the Lodge. My Mom loves the Lodge as do I. She grew up in the town it is in and is living with other people she spent her whole life around. So this is very disconcerting.

I won't repeat the foul abusive language (c word, b word, f word) CONSTANTLY while berating the on site manager. They FAILED MISERABLY the last FOUR HUD housing inspections at other properties, mine is one of the better, 62 and older but they are DESPERATE to have 100% occupancy, so they let in people who SHOULD be in assisted care (we are NOT) "Disabled" people who should be in a better controlled environment, our manager is only PART TIME their staff is HORRIBLE, just worried about making a buck, maintenance staff doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground and does shoddy work (IF they show up). Again the regional manager is the most foul mouthed individual I have EVER seen. We are UNABLE to contact the "owner" as he is always "out of town" and our complaints about Karen go unanswered.

But when we really needed them to come through, they did. Well, Scott did. He is a genuinely nice person who is good to deal with. I don't understand the reviews stating that they try to keep your deposit, except for a $15 charge for some kitchen and bath light bulbs that we overlooked, we received our entire deposit back quickly. If you do not damage the property and clean it when you leave, they are very fair. I would definitely suggest asking for Scott when you go in to look for a rental!

In MONTANA in the WINTER! I was constantly having to deal with the cheap landlord instead of the management. Management told me "he likes to fix things himself". After we ended our lease though, Sharmin our land manager rudely told us she shouldn't have because she didn't think there was anything wrong with it. We complained the entire time I lived there that the hot water heater must be filled with minerals because you couldn't take a ten minute shower or even fill the bath tub with hot water. This was never fixed and we were simply told that we take too long of showers and use too much water. This of course was not true seeing as we moved into a new home with the same people and have not had any issues. Now at the end our lease our lease our land manager is trying to retroactively asses late fees (some over two years old) in which we were never notified that we had. Our manger also failed to notify us when the walk through was even though I had asked her to. Which resulted in her deciding on her own to have the house recleaned saying that every part of the house was unsatisfactory. Even though I personally have worked for a cleaning company in helena for two years and held it to the standard of that business and of the several houses I had rented before, cleaned, and received a full refund of my deposit on every one. The fact is she just marked everything on the list saying that because even the box for "windows and blind" in the garage was marked unsatisfactory(even though the garage didn't have windows...). That is just an example and everything I've written here isn't everything that we had to deal with. With that said I would recommend you avoid this rental agency at all costs.
