He showed up on time and did a visibly good job of installation from the ground looking up ! They looked great and he said they were guarantied for a lifetime for the gutters and workmanship! It rained about a week after the installation and I had water running down from between the gutters and the facia of my roof ! I called him and made him aware of the problem that day! He said he would be coming to fix the problem within a week! After he didn't show up I called him again and he said he had been on an alaskan cruise and would be coming out the next week. I've called him several times over the months and sent him videos of the problem trying to get him to come back and fix the problem and he still hasn't shown up !! Before he started doing the work I asked if he was experienced in putting gutters on homes with metal roofs and he said he had done several projects that had metal roofing ! I'm afraid that with all the water getting behind my gutters that I will eventually be having a problem with a rotting fascia and having to replace my roof that's attached to the fascia and drip edge that holds the roof in place!

Finally got to the point of signing the contract... which I made him come back for because he said it was going to take so much time to draw them up and I didn't want to wait around. So he came back, I signed the paper and gave my deposit. I was told 6 weeks to install. At least they warn you it's going to be a minute. So, 6 weeks came... no word. I called and it took me a couple days to get in touch with them because they don't leave voicemails. Finally, about 2 weeks later got my appointment for installation. The day of installation came, the guys did an awesome job. That's why they get 3 stars. The rest of the experience was awful... but the installers were awesome. Very patient and worked with me since I couldn't be home. They texted me photo options. This company needs to ditch the old fashioned mentality because I was offended... and I'm sure I'm not the only one... and I repeatedly told them I did t need a sales pitch... that I just wanted to see the options and the price.

This review is one I've put off for a few months. Not due in any part to the business, but the…read moresituation that brought about my interaction with them. Hurricane Helene (9/26/24) caused monumental damage to this community, and unfortunately to my house as well. Though my backyard fence took the brunt of it all, my roof also experienced the results of high winds and flying debris. And so, with shingles missing and small holes now present, it was clear a new roof would be required. I was one of many homeowners reaching out to literally every roofing company, via Yelp's Request A Quote I might add, and one of the responses came from Southpaw. The quote was on point and the timeline (in a single day) was exactly what I was hoping for. They communicated with me that they would be dropping off the shingles the evening before and sure enough around 7 pm a truck, with pallets and forklift, arrived. The team member sat the pallets to one side of the driveway so I was still able to park on it as well. And soon after sunrise the next day, the team arrived. Ladders went up and shingles came flying down. Before I knew it the sound of hammers on the roof began. They were there to work! Around 3 pm I went outside to get the mail and saw they were almost finished. But the weather had other plans. Rain soon followed. They were quick to cover the last section with tarp and waited on my front porch for almost a hour till the rain subsided. And then they got it done! While two were on the last section, the rest of the team were cleaning up the back and front yards. And let me tell you, it turned out beautifully. I hope I don't require roofing services anytime soon, but if I do I know who I will be calling.
