I finally told them to give us our money back and we'd hire a competent company, this was after Gary tells me to do so, but at that point I was already going to do it because I hate LIARS and being ran around during a very active hurricane season. I guess the thought of losing money got them moving, and the thought of doing the whole hiring process over and waiting on a check during hurricane season led us to just allow these CLOWNS to do the job!! LET THE NIGHTMARE BEGIN!! Oyeah, it hasn't even started yet!! They were supposed to get a engineers design to fix the trusses in which I was guaranteed by Brandon and Gary they would do, it was my first question when they said they could do the job. We unfortunately were on vacation when the roof was fixed, or rather NOT FIXED!! I doubt they had a engineers fix on the first attempt, in fact I doubt the roofers who showed up even knew about the broken trusses! They slap some 2x4s half ass on it and re-roofed it! There was a bird bath so big you could see it from the ISS!! I send pictures to the Building Official and he pulls the passed inspection. Now a guy from Brandon's Daddies company comes over to try to do what should've been done when they had my roof ripped off. Now the counties involved so they're using a engineer, the engineer wasn't happy with the 1st attempt to fix it so he comes out again, at this point he gives up and says the roof will have to be RIPPED OFF to fix it!! They rip the roof off and low and behold it's still bird bathing, why? Because they didn't fix all of the broken trusses even after ripping the roof off a second time! They must've used a jack, or just forcing a 2x4 made our living room drywall drop from the ceiling more than before and it was because of a broken truss. They also came on Thanksgiving of all days to finish it!! I would give them 0 stars if I could!!

They have a great selection of shingle colors, Brian answered all my questions, and even worked with my schedule. I found them to be honest, reliable and not pushy, unlike one of the companies I dealt with. They completed the job in 2 days and did a good job cleaning up. The men were on time, diligent, and professional. This roofing company does not hire subcontractors. They have their own crew, and the crew is drug tested. I love this because they have vetted the people who are going to work on my home. Either location, pricing valid for either.", "*Installation includes all required wiring & water lines." Pictures and requested information were provided by my realtor to assist in preparing the quote. Additional detailed pictures of the house layout were available online via the property listing. I signed the quote on 7 February 2025 and paid $2,150 on 9 February 2025. Tech Visit and Refusal to Install: The technician arrived at the property and stated that the supplied water heater could not be installed in the attic due to its hybrid nature, weight concerns, and potential condensation issues. Here's the full picture: Scheduling: Installers no-showed on the first scheduled date with no proactive communication. I had to call after they were already outside the arrival window to find out they weren't coming. Tile demo and dust: When installers discovered tile under the carpet, we were quoted a "worst case scenario" additional cost of $1,600 on top of the original $1,414.47. What they didn't mention was that the demo crew would leave every surface in our entire home -- upstairs, downstairs, soft furnishings, drapes, and our HVAC system -- coated in fine silica dust. No containment, no warning, no protection of any kind. This isn't just a mess, it's a serious health hazard. Even the lead demo worker acknowledged as he was leaving that he wouldn't be happy if it were his house. "Making it right": The company promised to make it right with a cleaning and a painter for the damaged walls and stairs. At no point during this process did anyone mention we would be charged for these remediation services. We have doorbell camera footage of the painter telling his worker that the flooring company was paying him -- not us. The cleaning was incomplete, with silica dust remaining on soft surfaces and in the HVAC. Surprise invoice: After carpet was finally installed, we received an invoice with a painter line item exceeding $1,000 -- no prior quote, no agreement, no breakdown. The work took under 2 hours and does not look good (bad sanding, one coat of paint - see through). We are going to get quotes to have it redone. The owner also revealed $200 of that line item was his personal fee for "coordinating" the painter. Threats: When my husband called to dispute the painter charge, the owner threatened small claims court if the full invoice wasn't paid within days, rather than engaging in any good-faith discussion. We are willing to pay what we actually agreed to despite the damage done to our home and belongings. Instead, we've been met with threats. Arthur failed to provide itemized cost breakdown as requested. Arthur failed to provide contractor license numbers as requested. Arthur subsequently sent a second threat for small claims court, followed by a threat to file a lien against our property. I mailed a letter and check for $2,329.14 (the total for what we had actually discussed), which was cashed. Arthur sent another letter threatening small claims again for the painter line item. On top of all of this, the carpet on the stairs looks like garbage. It is shedding all over even after vacuuming, the corners are popping out. We purchased the most expensive carpet option he showed us. I would give anything to go back in time and just leave the old carpet. This has not been an improvement to our home. This has been a nightmare.

That's expected it will be close so I left a voicemail. After 1 week I didn't get a response back to my voicemail so I called back 8 days later and the lady on the phone was apologetic but pretended like she didn't get a message. Everything is fine and she took my info this time. It took 3 weeks before someone could come give me a quote. They were nice to call the day before I was going to get the quote. I talked to the tech who came out an measured the house. we talked about doing the back lot and he said he needed the survey. I told him it would be a long time before I dug that out and that he would do a multi-quote where the house is one and we could do the lot later. It's been almost 3 weeks since he is coming to my house and no quote was ever sent and no contact was ever made. He even promised me he would email me a phone number and a quote and even promised me he would text me and email address where I can send a copy of the land survey too which she never did that either. So I sat here and waited 3 weeks to find out how much it would cost to have my yard fenced in. Shocking! Nothing, no communications, no quotes, nothing! This is what they did from the get-go, I should have stayed with my instincts and not call them back but I like to give people a fair try as I know it can be tough. Poor customer service, no response, no quote. Hopefully the owner will read this and make some changes. Saddly, my interactions are very typical. These two people I have interacted with I've probably lost my business in this company and I will know steer everybody away from profence.

Cody gave me a bid for tiling my backsplash (~30 sq ft) that seemed good, so I hired him. He showed…read moreup an hour late (though he let me know beforehand that he was running late). We went over the work that needed to be done and he commenced work. A while later I needed to leave to run an errand (my wife was home though). When I got back, Cody's truck was gone, there were a lot of cut sheets of tile, but nothing on the wall and no Cody. I found a message from him on Yelp asking me to call him, which I did. It turns out he has "lost confidence" and abandoned the job. He said he tried to tell my wife before leaving, but she was unaware of this. When I spoke to Cody on the phone he indicated that I didn't owe him anything, and did offer to put me in touch with someone he felt could do the job. I didn't go with his recommendation mainly because I didn't have enough trust in him to make that choice. The guy I did hire was able to reuse some of the cut tile Code had left, but we needed to buy 5 more sheets nevertheless. There may be lots of things Cody is good at, but tiling a backsplash with herringbone tile sheets is not one of them, and abandoning a job is just not OK.
