I am questing why all pro has quoted an elderly woman that sh needs a 4 ton ac in a less than 1500 sq ft home. All information received from many other hvac sources say 4t9n is too big for that size home and will be damaging in the future. So is every other hvac company lying to her. Seems unlikey read more

I had a leaky toilet and it caused water damage in my basement. I called All Pro and they came out and fixed the toilet. The guy that fixed it was really good. He talked me into buying a membership and said that they would come out for any repairs on appliances, electrical and plumbing and wouldn't charge the initial fee, just the parts and labor would be charged. A month down the road, I had a toilet that was running so I called All Pro to come out to fix it. They told me they would have to replace all the guts inside the toilet and that my pipe coming out of the wall was not compliant with code and that I would need a new pipe with a shut off valve. They said they could not fix the toilet without replacing the pipe. They quoted me 500.00 dollars to fix it. I told them no way and that I had a membership. It shouldn't cost that much to fix a toilet. They got it down to 300.00 but I thought it was still too much. I ended up paying it which I am so mad that I did. It was an astronomical amount. I called the manager and complained and she wouldn't do anything about it. So long story short, you pay for the membership and then they charge 3 times or more to fix anything. It is not a savings. I am very disappointed in this company. They are a rip off. I looked up the cost of the toilet guts and they only cost 25.00, the pipe was 15.00 plus none of my toilets had a pipe with a shut off valve. They wanted to replace all of them. All Pro Services started out strong on my water damage claim but lagged thru the restoration process . Five months to complete was longer than necessary. The only redeeming factor was their tech Jesse W. Out side people were great but the inside force, not so much. read more

If I could rate this company less, I would. They were hired on the recommendation of another company we use, needless to say we have informed them they should not make recommendations in the future. They were hired to find the source and repair some water damage in my 80 year old mothers house and a vinyl fence repair after a wind storm. They sell a good story about all of the amazing work they do, the bid was reasonable, and they had been recommended by someone she trusted. We signed the contract and paid the 50% up front and then it all went off the rails. A job promised within 4 days took months after breaking her countertop, breaking an electrical line and outlet in the wall, not removing all the bid had included because they determined the damage was not as bad as they originally thought, and masking repairs without using the materials we were quoted for. The first "completion" came with horrific finishing work, light fixture not secured to the wall, blinds put back sticking 2" from the wall and a caulking job that looked like it was their first experience. A nightmare. They came back several times to "fix" the mess and we waited months for the new countertop. Needless to say, while she is left with a leaky sink, still broken fence, light fixture with missing hardware and a mismatched paint finish (who paints a bathroom with flat paint?) the company sent a bill for the entire bid balance remaining (even though the work wasn't done). They discounted her a bit (not enough to fix all they left behind), but insisted on the rest of the balance. It is truly unsettling to believe a company can pass themselves off as "professional" long enough to get the business and then do such shoddy work and expect to be paid for it anymore than they have. I would dare say they take advantage of people and would HIGHLY recommend you skip their bid completely. read more

Transparency is hard to come by in the home repair/service industry, and at the end of the day I would go back to All Pro again for that alone. My first review was glowing because All Pro really was amazing. My updated review was driven by frustration from being stalled trying to transition from the mitigation to actual repair/reconstruction. I was misled by my Liberty Mutual insurance adjustor who kept blaming All Pro for not providing the answers he claimed to need to approve their estimate. In a nearly 100-page, very detailed document, All Pro put the repair estimate at roughly $25k. My adjustor summarized things (incorrectly as it would turn out) in less than a dozen pages and concluded it would cost just $12k. Ultimately, I felt pressured by my adjustor (who I still trusted at that time) to go with another contractor. Despite numerous requests, however, that contractor never provided an estimate for the repair work; he kept saying "I'll work within the insurance company's budget." Well, many months and $25k later most of the work was finally done... though the bamboo flooring was never replaced and still has clear evidence of water damage (All Pro's $25k estimate included replacing the wood floor, not attempting to refinish it). My biggest regret from the past 12 months is not sticking with All Pro for the repairs. I told my insurance adjustor that was my preference, and I wish I had stood more firm in that opinion. I'm sure there are other great contractors and companies out there, and I can't personally attest to the quality of any repairs that All Pro may offer. But at the end of the day the 5+ day mitigation cost my insurance company less than $3000, and their repair estimates were detailed, well-prepared, and shockingly close to the final repair costs provided by a presumably cheaper company advocated for by my insurance company. Homeownership is hard and stressful, especially when s**t goes wrong. Of course the best advice is to take your time, get lots of estimates, and don't cave to pressure to push ahead with things that don't feel right. (As a side note, for anyone concerned that their insurance isn't following through on their responsibilities, you can file a complaint with the Utah Insurance Department. Their job is protect policyholders.) Ultimately, All Pro remains on a short list of companies that I would trust to call. read more

After moving into my new townhouse, I discovered I had a foundation leak after my basement completely flooded. This required one complete wall removed downstairs to fill the cracks. Originally my HOA had a "contractor" come and "fix" it, so I had no say in what happened. This contractor was so incompetent he placed tar inside of my house, managed to track it though my 6-month old carpet, get it all over the clean walls and doors--all while having me call him just to show up. After losing my mind with my HOA after 3 months, they called All Pro to get me back in my basement. After everything was completed, they (or their contractors) had 1. Removed the tar in my basement, 2. Resealed the foundation cracks correctly 3. Reframed the wall 4. Placed drywall, taped, mudded, textured 5. Repaired my outlet 6. Removed old baseboards 7. Cut and installed new ones 8. Painted everything--baseboards, accent wall, ceiling, walls 9. Relayed a new carpet pad 10. Stretched my carpet The difference in the experience was night and day. I never had to call them to find out what was going on or tell them to get there. They never missed an appointment, and they even gave me a great deal on what I was supposed to pay for replacing my warped and rotted baseboards. They finished everything in 3 weeks where it took the other incompetent contractor 3 months to get half way. I will say that their texturing on my wall was not as good as they guy I call myself. You can 100% see the streaks, but after 3 months of hell, I learned to pick my battles and was too happy to have the wall back up to care. I can't say anything about pricing because my HOA was responsible for the bill, but I can say they did a terrific job in communicating, they placed plastic over the entire site where they were working, they cleaned up after their projects, and they went out of their way (one person even working almost 12 hours on a Saturday to finish painting) to get my project finished. They were literally my god send, and I can't brag enough about them given the circumstances. read more

Wow they have a total disregard for the home owners personal items knocking towels on the ground and when removing dry wall they cracked my tile in both baths. They don't learn from the own mistakes and find ways to make new ones. Don't get me wrong though the supervisors are skilled especially Garret but, the lower level workers could care less about you and your home and spend the whole time creating accidents. The only reason they get business is insurance companies hire them because they are the cheapest around. If you are thinking of paying out of pocket don't, go else where asap spend a few bucks and avoid mindless workers who will do more damage than good. read more

Very good response for ripping up the damaged areas. They unplugged my WiFi booster without asking or informing me, or plugging it back in. They did a poor job of covering the hole in the ceiling, plastic fell down within an hour of their departure. Only AFTER they removed the damage did they mention someone else would contact us for a repair estimate. Four days later I called to find out when the call would come. I was told it would be a full week before they could provide an estimate, but they couldn't do an appointment after 3:00 pm. Then I was informed after the estimate it would be 4-5 weeks before they could do the repair. This time line should have been disclosed before they tore up my house so I could shop for another company. read more

We had All Pro out for a simple water leak at our rental property and they quoted $1,250 for the full service, including patch and paint to get everything back like new. The provided a contract with a deposit amount, and no price list. After starting the initial cleanup work they sent an invoice for $1780+ for just the dryout and wanted another $1200+ for repair. It should be noted that the repair was patching two or three 4"x 4" drywall holes. We refused. They then wanted to be paid the full amount they had quoted for the full job, just for the dryout. After refusing they are now trying to collect $1750 in addition to the initial $600 deposit from us through a collection agency, while also trying to collect from the tenant by threatening them with illegal credit reports. So what started out as $1,250 for a full repair they are now trying to collect $2,950 for just the dryout. read more

Situation: water pipe burst in my wall causing mold and wall damage. Solution: (1) tear down the wall - 3 stars, (2) clean up the mold - 4.5 stars, (3) repair the wall - 1 star (1) Tear Down the Wall (3 stars) The damage appeared extensive, so a large portion of the wall was torn down. While I would not say the workers were careful, but they were very "thorough" such that much more of the wall was torn down than I thought would be, but this allowed them easy access to every area inside the wall in order to really do good job in part 2. (2) Clean Up the Mold (4.5 stars) This is where All Pro did a really good job. They cleaned up all the mold and I don't worry about any mold spores growing in the future. That said, the clean up was very expensive. (3) Repair the Wall (1 star) - Terrible Workmanship This 1 star rating was so bad, it left a bad taste in my mouth even from the fair to good work done above. The workmanship was just terrible. First, I was told they could not find molding to match the bottom molding that goes from the floor about 3 ft up (more paneling that molding). So, I ordered just a floor molding. Come to find out from the guy who put the cabinets back in the it is incredible easy to find matching paneling and he could do it if we wanted. I declined because I had already spent a ton of money. As for the wall repair and ceiling molding, I have never seen such poor workmanship. While I am under no delusion that matching texture to walls that didn't come down is impossible, the texturing put on the wall was not consistent at all when compared to just the work they did. There are huge streaks, uneven wall (not flat), huge lines and more. The molding was placed on the ceiling horribly. the pieces did not connect smoothly at all. In fact, they just used a bunch of filler to try and hide that the molding didn't line up. I compared this to the rest of my house, to see if perhaps it was normal. All the connection points in my entire house are smooth and almost not noticeable, but the work performed here is impossible to hide. It sticks out like a sore thumb. The painting was terrible. It looks like they were supposed to do 3 coats, but only did one. It is streaky, and does not match the rest of the room. I can recommend All Pro for mold cleaning (although not cheap), but I cannot recommend them at all for contractor work. Their workmanship is absolutely horrible. Upon payment, I told them I was extremely unhappy with the workmanship, and after receiving payment they said I would get a call from the guy in charge to see what could be done. Of course, payment was made so I have no leverage. Weeks have passed, and that phone call has never come. The one star for #3 was so strong, that it completely outweighs my 3 star for tear down and 4.5 star for mold cleanup. read more

They were supposed to come to my house at 9:00 A.M. for a ceiling damage repair. But, they didn't get there until past 11!!!!!!!!! They took way long to fix my house and could only work for about 30 min. straight. Then, they would take a big long smoke break outside my house. Not impressed at all! The dude who fixed the ceiling did an ok job, but spent most of the time in the bathroom or outside, jamming to music in his truck. read more

I had concerns about mold. All Pro Disaster Cleaning advertised free estimate. They came over and told me that my wall was dry and if it were him, he wouldn't do anything. approximately 6 weeks later, there was in fact mold. I called them again to come help me. They had to cancel the appointment due to a disaster. We rescheduled and they called me back to tell me I had to pay a $250 deposit for them to come again, which would be applied to any work THEY do. I felt very disappointed that I didn't have someone else come the first time and I felt very pressured to pay them a $250 deposit on something that I didn't know the total cost at the time. read more

For a year we had an odd smell in our home. We had previously called two other companies for help detecting the source of the smell...neither found anything. We called All Pro Cleaning and within five minutes in our home they found the problem. A water softener with a slow leak which lead to mold. They had the mold removed the same day and we were able to completely resolve the source of the problem within 24 hours. The staff was courteous and professional. I had a sewer backup in my basement and called All Pro to come out and clean it up. They arrived at my home in less than an hour and it was on a Saturday night! They got things cleaned up quickly and took care of the sewage that had soaked into my carpet. I was very pleased. I have since used them to have my air ducts cleaned! All I can say is watch out! These guys came to my house when we were flooded by a neighbor's broken pipe. All we wanted them to do was dry out the carpet that got wet. Unfortunately we didn't realize that they cut our carpet so they would be able to get their fans under the carpet to dry it out! We were home at the time, so they could have consulted us, but they didn't. As a result we have had to replace the carpet because of the damage that they did. The worst part of the whole experience was having to deal with Garrett, their general manager (I think that is his title). He was extremely rude on the phone and unapologetic about it. I was referred to All Pro by a plumbing company. They told me that All Pro would come out for free and check a plumbing leak to see how much damage was in the wall. All pro came out, said there was no damage, but that it needed to dry out. They left a fan at our house and then charged us $150 for a 24 hour fan rental. Then they called me several times to ask about my service and I just said it was okay. After we got the bill they called me two days later to ask if we received it and when they could expect the payment. I was over the top by this time with the phone calls and the idea that they charged me $150 for a fan rental that we didn't need, so I spoke up on this phone call. They said that the estimate is free, but once we agree to do anything at all they charge us $109 dollars to come out.... but that was the part that I was told would be free. so I offered to pay the $41 dollars for the one day fan rental, but that was a no go. They came out, found out we didn't need anything and then insisted we take this fan so they could collect their money anyway. read more

The plumbing in our basement back up and the plumber recommended we call All Pro for the clean up. We were on vacation while the plumbers were finishing up the basement repairs and All Pro was to put everything back together once the plumbers were done. Ryan (a supervisor) stopped by the house 3 times while we were gone to do an estimate. I was not made aware that an additional estimate needed to be done prior to the completion of the work and was out of cell service for the week and missed all the calls to make this happen. My adult son, who remained at home during the repairs, was at work as well the 3 times Ryan stopped by. Since I was never made aware Ryan needed to stop by to do another estimate I never got my sons contact information to All Pro. Ryan finally did stop by on a Monday to do the final estimate. I never received anything with regards to his estimate so I question why he needed to do the estimate in the 1st place. I had to call Ryan on Tuesday to see what the next step was to putting my basement back together. He did not reach out to me. He said the carpet could be put in the next day and the tile the day after. Instead of organizing it himself he gave me the contact information of subcontractors to call and set up appointments. When I called the contractor to replace the carpet they informed me they could not do this until the tile was complete. In my mind it was Ryan's responsibility to know this upfront. Not for me to figure out once I called the contractor. The tile people were scheduled to come on Wednesday and it took them 6 days to complete their work, from tear out to replacing the base board. Ryan never made me aware of the time frame it would take. By the end I was frustrated enough to complete the replacement of furniture myself. I expressed my frustration to Ryan in an email and he retaliated by charging me more than I anticipated. After we worked out the details as to how much additional I would pay I went on vacation. 1 week after I agreed to pay (1 day after I get back from vacation) I get a call from Jessica in their collections department when I was going to pay their bill. I replied as soon as I could and being at work when I answered the call had to get off the phone to take a business call. I then got a text from Ryan that he was informed I hung up on Jessica and 1 week to pay in full or they were putting a lien on my house. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had with contractors. I have called the plumbing company and my insurance company and asked them to never refer/use this company again. read more
