I choose this school because of the ATA affiliation and because of great word of mouth about the instructors who teach there. I noticed this is not the same programs as ATA did way back then, but now they are geared for assisting with mental and physical wellbeing. I enjoy the warrior side of training combat sparring and learning krav maga! It is like a breath of fresh air to see a Sport/Martial Art that puts a special focus on life skills, such as; self-esteem, respect, honesty, communication, discipline. This helps teachers, as well as parents, help raise children to be healthy functioning adults... It is also a great self awareness and esteem for those adults, who need the reassurance through their effort on what they can accomplish!! They have an awesome program for children, Tiny Tigers program, my son, who has ADHD, was in this program it did him wonders for listening and ability to focus... It helped with his self confidence as he was different in school and was in different classes than mainstream and kids picked on him a lot.. he had a place to go where he felt he was good enough. Ok, 1 more thing, the taekwondo kids here are awesome kids, because all the kids in their classes, like my son was, are treated just like everyone else.. the kids are having fun, exercising and learning to be great people.

But I feel I need to write one for this place for a variety of experiences that have accumulated into the following statement. Money trumps kindness and understanding. This was demonstrated many ways at different times throughout our year's time in the school. The final straw came when the opportunity to show respect, courtesy and understanding presented itself and they were all pushed aside for the sake of getting paid. We notified them at the beginning of April, that the end of April would be the last day for our kids. But we had to pay for May too. Stay away from here and look for a better martial arts school where they practice what they preach.

Me and my mom were waiting, and it made it hard to complete a workout efficiently. I understand resting between sets, but this went well beyond that and felt inconsiderate. It would really help if staff more actively enforced basic gym etiquette, especially during busier times. Sharing equipment and keeping phone use reasonable would make a big difference for everyone. Hopefully this improves, because otherwise the gym has a lot of potential. Would recommend going to the other one on Market Street in Ogden. A lot nicer there.

Customer service was not so helpful with check in on the computer screen for black card members. The front desk lady assumed I knew how to check in when the Planet Fitness in another state does not use that method to schedule a hydromassage etc. . I docked off a star due to the customer service. I loved how the gym's format was for cardio equipment and different workout centers. There was a lot of space and multiple attached weight workout machines with no wait time. The recumbent bicycles are more updated in my local Planet Fitness, yet they were better than the ones in the first Planet Fitness I tried in Wilmington. The cons: Not many cons Not the most up to date machinery and most of the attached weight machines didn't count reps Customer Service not so helpful.
