I do not recommend at all. Normally I shy away from negative reviews, even if deserved. But I feel I need to write one for this place for a variety of experiences that have accumulated into the following statement. Money trumps kindness and understanding. This was demonstrated many ways at different times throughout our year's time in the school. The final straw came when the opportunity to show respect, courtesy and understanding presented itself and they were all pushed aside for the sake of getting paid. We notified them at the beginning of April, that the end of April would be the last day for our kids. But we had to pay for May too. Stay away from here and look for a better martial arts school where they practice what they preach. read more

We had our son's 5th birthday party this morning at Invictus. We could not have been more pleased! Every kid that attended had a blast! The instructors and owner were so fun and energetic. They took time with everyone to ensure that they left with smiles on their faces! read more

The instructors are really patient with the children that attend, and they want them to learn discipline but also have fun. There are other skills the students learn to help them in life as well. read more

We are a professional Martial Arts School that is part of the American Taekwondo Association. We strive to help all of our students learn how to work hard to set, work towards, and achieve their goals, both in martial arts and in life. Invictus Martial Arts does this by teaching Martial Arts in a positive and professional setting while always keeping a focus on the students' needs. History

Established in 2019.

Hello Yelp! I am Master Max Crucitti, owner and Chief Instructor at Invictus Martial Arts. I have been studying martial arts since 1996 and have assisted in running successful martial arts schools since 2005. I recently achieved the title of Mastership and thought that it was time to have my own school and serve my community the best way I know how... To help create tomorrow's leaders through positive mentorship using martial arts. This business started this year, in 2019, but has been real in my head since I set this goal back when I was 12 years old. I cannot wait to serve my local Wilmington community, who I have been a part of since 2012, with the most professional, practical, and inspiring martial arts classes in the area! We will be doing a soft opening with classes available by the end of October and a grand opening in November 2019!

Meet the Business Owner: Max C.

I am Master Max Crucitti, owner of Invictus Martial Arts. My dream of owning a martial arts school started when I was 12 years old. My vision grew as I got older and saw what a HUGE positive impact I was making on other peoples' lives through martial arts. Whether the student was 3 years old or 70 years old, giving someone new hope, inspiration to become better, or motivation to overcome an obstacle in their life is such a powerful thing. I love that martial arts can do that for people, all while having a very practical use for self-defense. I have trained in the American Taekwondo Association's system of martial arts for 24 years and have achieved the title of Master Instructor and am a 6th Degree Black Belt. I have also trained for about 5 years working with the Warrior Krav Maga training system. I am very excited to serve my local Wilmington community and look forward to helping as many people as possible become better versions of themselves through martial arts training.

Don't risk it! 5) If you intend to give a tip, bring it with you (it may get wet) but there's a jar on the boat. Otherwise, you can tip them at the tent where you look at photos. 6) The ride will last about 15 minutes up in the air, but in our case, there was another group. So we were on the boat waiting while they were up in the air. 7) they will dunk you, no question! 8) Once you're back in shore, photos will be on iPads that they can give you the SD card or AirDrop them to you (for iPhone users). I have not trained in the ATA in well over a decade and coming back into it, Master Crucitti has been very understanding and willing to work to help get me back to top performance and beyond. The school is at a great location and everyone is friendly and willing to help you succeed. This is a great environment for kids and adults alike. I highly recommend Invictus Martial Arts and helps with your personal life outside of the school as well. Be sure to go by and ask about a private lesson to begin your martial arts journey!
