I recently lost my mom. She is in an urn in a glass front niche in the mausoleum. I felt that the office staff was cold and inconsiderate. They spelled my mom's name wrong in the paperwork and were very nonchalant about it and offerred no apology. This was when I went to the office to sign paperwork on the day of my mother's funeral. Even after it was corrected and the paperwork presented to me again, they had her name wrong in one place. I was told it didn't matter. Well it mattered to me - this was my mother! You'd think that dealing with grieving families every day they could show a bit more compassion. I know it's their job and their every day, but I had experienced very nice people in other places on this journey (funeral home for example) that knew how to show compassion with warmth and good humor. I don't think the people working there are necessarily in the right jobs. I am not in need of a great deal of comforting nor am I prone to hysterics... just maybe don't spell my mother's name wrong and act like it's inconsequential. I don't particularly care for the glass front niches but that was our choice and made for some family reasons but the whole experience left me with a bad taste. I didn't price compare as it was where her grandparents were and I recognize it's a business but I question whether I should have just had her sit on my mantle. read more

All Saints has a wonderful staff that take great care of the grounds and cares about the families who are there for their loved ones. Don goes above and beyond and shows great pride and honor in working for All Saints Cemetery and Mausoleum and has personally helped me at the grounds. I am so upset with my visit to the mausoleum I feel sick.   About 1976 when first opened my folks went to learn about and choose a place they liked. My mother, a realtor, knew what she liked. The personnel kept emphasizing the difference from ground burial with ambiances of feeling like home.   They talked of the furniture and silk flowers on the tables in each area, the couches "so your family can sit in comfort just like at home in your house instead of standing in snow".  They spoke especially of soothing sounds of water fountains, with more to be added and piped music for relatives as well as deceased "you love music right".  Each area had a stained glass, my dad's first love and second job for residences, & churches.  Perfect fit for their over top hype!  I first sat on that couch when they showed the family their place, complete with a gate, like their garden at home and bathrooms right behind.  For twenty plus years I went once in awhile to show someone how nice it was, though the preplaced names were eerie but their choice.  They had staked their claim in the "high rent district" as they called it.  Then I often sat on the couch with my dad & he spoke of when I would sit alone... right here...I said I couldn't imagine him not being next to me. Finally, too soon, I sat alone on our couch.   They must have sold out and with no reason to impress now, all furniture and silk flowers are gone, feels more like outside, along with even the couches, OUR couch.  We are now meant to stand, like outside.  I sat on the carpet with them, only to be inundated with swarms of gnats & a few crawly things, like outside.  There were enough they followed me inside the car. When I first walked in, the place smelled unusually bad of decomposition and hideously strong moth balls, unlike outside.  With no discreet furniture, any pretense of dignity has devolved, with critter chemicals & devices now visible for meditation. There was no familiar music playing or soothing water falling.   They no longer need to "soothe the senses," as the hype went.  So I smelled rot, saw devastation, heard silence, felt insects.  The only sense left was taste, from the chocolate I had brought to eat with mother.  But, especially, even our comfort couch with all it's memories, the one that made it "an extension of home to sit with them", is gone. read more

All Saints is such a beautiful, well-kept cemetery. The newer cremation garden with the pond is so beautiful and peaceful. There's even little koi in there! I have family in the indoor mausoleum. It's also peaceful and quiet and it's always nice to visit them there. The indoor mausoleum has quite a few interesting stained glass art pieces. I've ventured into the main part of the cemetery a few times to attend funerals and visit graves. Any time I need help, the office has been so quick to help. If it's possible to love a cemetery, then I'm absolutely in love with All Saints! read more

Not sure why Yelp moved my review, but the original review still stands. I have family at All Saints in the mausoleum and in regular graves that I come to visit from time to time. I think the cemetery has never looked better! The staff keep everything so clean and respectful. When you think about how big the cemetery is and how hard they must work to maintain the grounds, it's an impressive feat! Any time I have questions or need assistance, the office is always quick to help. I've had nothing but positive experiences here. read more

I feel it is poorly kept up. A lot of tacky decorations. The ground is very unstable. Graves are hard to find. Markers are covered up,

The grounds are nice enough but I agree that the lack of detailing done around the in ground markers makes things difficult. But when you get down to it, it is outside so there are going to be bugs, weather and all that. My major complaint is that we could not find the mentioned kiosks and the side stick markers didn't match what was on the funeral card. I'd also like to see their website more complete...inquiring on my fathers name (he was buried in 2005) came back with no results read more

On the fifth anniversary of my husband's death, I went out to All Saints to put flowers at his grave. I have been going weekly for 5 years. When I got there I found everything that was at his grave had been removed because it was in violation of their no metal rules. The items were removed by the staff and dumped in a pile where people could "find" them. Thankfully, I didn't have to go thru this pile as a friend went there for me, but I was told it was the saddest and most disrespectful thing he's seen. I called the manager and he told me that they are now enforcing the rules and that although some grave sites had tags on them they are not secure enough and maybe some blew away. I was out there the weekend before and not only was there no tag but there also was no notice that they were now removing items they feel violate the rules ( this includes metal stands to hold wreaths). I had a copper cross stolen off the grave last year and the office told me they don't remove items so it must have been stolen. Since they told me this and since they have allowed wreath stands the past 5 years, I assumed they were allowed. My only problem is that there was no notice that they were now enforcing the rules and that my husbands gravesite wasn't tagged. They could have simply posted a notice at the entrances giving people time to remove these items and I would have complied....just like they do for the spring and fall cleanup. Apparently, one has to have lost a loved one to understand how disturbing it is to go out to a place which is supposed to be sacred and find everything gone and thrown into a pile with no notice. The manager didn't care when I told him. He's apparently in the wrong business and brushed me off like I was just another annoyance. If I had the choice I'd have my husband laid elsewhere at a place which respects them and their families and cares enough to try to notify them when things change and at least apologizes. read more

I love this cemetery, but I have been going there twice a year since my mom passed in '94 to clean up the markers and level them if necessary. It is a labor of love. It is what it is. They have rules folks and you shouldn't be surprised when they enforce them. I like the clean look of level markers and marvel at the almost carnival like "memorials" heaped upon someone's final resting place in some sections. I have an older brother and both parents in the same row. It is a sacred place and they try very hard to keep it that way, which is why I hope to join them when my time comes. My in-laws are down the street at Ridgeview and their upkeep is much worse. It is solid weeds and crabgrass that seems to never get cut. None of the ground is level either; like walking in a mine-field. (A note about winter funerals: I suspect they would like the final good-byes to be in one of their lovely chapels as we did when my dad died New Years Eve morning 1962. I was ten. It seems more prudent when your loved one's plot is "off road" so to speak.) BTW the field masses on Memorial Day are quite lovely. Also, I have meandered the main mausoleum in summer and found the climate control perfect. We even checked out the "old" side across the street which is quite remarkable as well. Office staff has always been very professional when I have had questions in person. I am sorry so many folks had bad experiences. I am sorry for your losses. read more

One of the more beautiful cemeteries I have performed military honors. A large portion contains the whole spectrum of grave stones I am accustomed to seeing, but lately I am seeing more uniform, less ornamental sites (the more recent grave sites are rectangularly shaped stones mounted in the ground). This establishment also offered an indoor area (I'm assuming for inclement weather -- like we had today). It was modest and small, but it gets the job done. read more

My grandma is placed in the New Testament area. There's flies everywhere and even dead flies all over the floor as well. In the glass nitch there is even dead flies and spider webs with eggs. This office is poorly managed. Still waiting for my mother's grave marker to be installed. Paid for in advance over 20 years ago. It is rare that anyone answers the phone and when they do they indicate that they can't check on the status because the person who does that is off and no one else has access to that information. Seriously? What if that person quit tomorrow? Staff also indicates that they are very busy and understaffed. Numerous messages left since July have gone unanswered. How do you run a business with such a lack of customer service? I have just received an email from the manager and he indicates the stone will be installed on the 17th of November. Both of my parents are buried at All Saints Mausoleum on the Shrine Level. My dad passed away 27 years ago and my mom March 2017. Since I live a short distance away from All Saints I visit often. I have never found the mausoleum too warm in the summer or too cold in the winter. It's always a comforting experience to visit them. I feel the mausoleum is well maintained. Infrequently, I have found there have been fruit-like bugs but not swarms of them like someone mentioned in a review. I'm glad my parents final resting place is beautiful and comforting to their loved ones. read more

Several generations of my family are buried at All Saints, which means decades of gong there. I have always been impressed with the level of care taken both at the time of death & years after. Have rarely seen a monument tilting. Grounds are kept beautiful!!! Took it for granted until I saw other cemeteries. Looking to have several generations to come all resting there. read more

We had my aunt's funeral today. It had snowed a few days ago (NOT yesterday or today). The roads had been cleared, but there was deep snow in the grassy areas. The grave was not near the road and was slightly uphill, and the cemetery staff had made absolutely no attempt to clear a path to the graveside or at least pack down the snow to make it easier to walk on. It was very difficult for the pall bearers to carry the casket, and they almost slipped a few times. In the meantime, the undertakers stood at the top of the hill, watching and not offering any assistance. I had snow up to my mid-calf as I walked in my dress clothes and shoes. The older people in our group also struggled to maintain their balance, and a few had to remain in their cars and miss the graveside service altogether. Definitely sad and disappointing. Luckily, no one was hurt, and the casket wasn't dropped, but many of us ended up with wet pants and shoes. Not pleasant and VERY cold. read more

While the cemetery grounds themselves are beautiful, the care given to individual headstones and/or grave markers is appalling. I try to get out there once a year and every time I am shocked by what I see. There are some headstones completely covered by dead grass and over grown with grass encroaching 2-3 inches on all 4 sides. There are headstones that have sunk 2-3 inches lower than where they should rest. I think of families who cannot come to their loved ones graves, for whatever reason, and find it heartbreaking. I'm sure they would never imagine the complete and total neglect that goes on there. I live in an area with two non-Catholic cemeteries and on days the lawn is being cut, there are several men with weed-wackers doing headstones. For the amount they charge for their "Perpetual Care", All Saints should do the same. read more

My sister and I visited my parents graves and were appalled at the condition of their flat headstones. There was no doubt in my mind that the lawnmowers are racing over these tombs so that the ground is sinking. The headstones were sunken, and overgrown with grass. We began work bringing a spade shovel, bucket, brush, cleaning solution and gardening rakes. It took us an hour and a half but finally, the graves looked decent. We had purchased two small planters of mums that we put in what looked like purses but covered in moss, darling. Then we bought two solar angels. We took pictures and were pleased with our work and then crossed the street and worked on my sisters brother in laws grave who was a Priest. Having finished all our work we went to the office to complain about the sinking headstones and the district manager and manager came to my parents gravesite with us and said he agreed that more work needs to be done on these graves. Then, he told the manager to get a truck and take all the items that people left on their loved ones graves and remove them. I was shocked, and said we just spent $85.00 on these things to honor our parents, and you are telling us that they are in violation of the law??? He said people trip and they could be sued. Ridiculous, these things were small and not obnoxious and I stopped counting after 100 different people left things at their loved ones gravesite. I find this ruling totally insensitive to the needs of those mourning their loved one. No one is defacing property, they are leaving flowers and now solar lighting so that the grave lights in the evening. My sister and I want to have my parents exhumed and they told me it would be $2,800.00 per grave. They are not sensitive to the people's needs, times change and so do trends, they do not care, they just care about what is easiest for them to clean. They DO NOT MAINTAIN these graves. I am so sorry my parents are at this cemetery. I was told that they will give me two weeks time before they throw everything out, but if I put it all in a 15x8x6 wooden box they will let it stay, that way, the lawn people can pick up the box and replace it when finished. The solar angel that was $20.00 each needs to go deep into the ground on a stick but he said no to this, too. I want my parents in a cemetery that cares about the dead and their families who visit their gravesites. All Saints is not a Cemetery to bury your loved one. Look for a cemetery not focused on extreme rules that only serve their needs not the peoples needs. I find it disgraceful. read more
