Sales people were trying to charge me for standard features already on the camper by the manufacturer. We were almost ready give up our attempt to purchase a camper. And then I found Cobb & Son in Seale Alabama. They had the camper that I wanted. From the very first phone conversation with Ernie, I knew I would be buying my first camper from them. All I asked is to give me their best "out the door price." I live in central Florida, and I would have drive 400 miles to pick it up, and I couldn't play price games. Ernie called me back and gave me the GODFATHER DEAL. "He made me an offer I couldn't refuse" Next was a road trip to Alabama. Their entire staff treated us like family. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. Dustin's walkthrough was amazing and so thorough. They are always willing to answer any operational questions that I have, anytime. After leaving the dealership, we encountered a brake controller failure on my tow vehicle. (This was no fault of Cobb & Son. The brake controller and wiring was done before we left Florida.) We were on our way to a campground for the night, before heading home to Florida. I called the dealership and spoke to Jonathan. I explained what was happening and he felt it was a bad brake controller. This was on a Late Friday afternoon. Jonathan drove to the campground, test drove my vehicle and camper and changed the brake controller at the campground, in the dark. WOW! WOW! WOW! This is the true meaning of "5 STAR" customer service. I would highly recommend Cobb & Son to anyone looking for a camper. East Coast Gear Supply shipped the already built differentials (with ARB lockers) to Foreman's for installation. Chris kept me up to date on the progress and informed me that two parts were needed (after doing the research on-line) for the installation of the ARB Air compressor. They did a clean and neat install of the compressor and of course the differentials as well. They did a bit more work than they quoted me for but kept the price the same. The process to install took around an hour or so. Pretty happy with the customer service and the install. (I didn't drive my truck the next week because I was in the field so less than a 100mi driven) After a week, I was driving with my fiancé to a buddies house and my cruise control didn't shut off. I pulled in to my buddies and had a bite to eat. After the night was finished, we got in my truck to leave and my truck didn't out of park. I unplugged the battery to see in there was a computer system problem but no luck. After further investigation and tapping on the brakes to see if the broke lights came on the pedal dropped to the floor. I looked down at the pedal and it had completely came off the brake rod. I assembled the brake pedal together but there was no retaining pin. I looked around for it and no luck. (I was a certified break mechanic back before the army) I had to buy the pin but it was stuck at my buddies house for a few days. I called the shop and asked about their process. They assured me that they didn't take the system apart. I won't play the blame game. Just remember to look over all work done on your vehicle. This could have been a life and death situation with not having brakes. Luckily it wasn't for my fiancé and me. The dash was disassembled to make the process faster and I saw a review how a customer gotten her dash cracked. (I am very tight on time) I didn't work on the remote before going there and remote start was brand new. The vehicle has been inspected every year. by a certified mechanic. Response was unprofessional and delusionary.
