Before we even made the move, Ashton spent time on the phone helping us narrow down neighborhoods and align our search with our top priorities. When it came to viewing homes, she was direct, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. Coming from the Northeast, we were totally unfamiliar with local structural nuances like stucco exteriors, but Ashton proactively pointed out exactly what to look for. Her expertise didn't stop at finding the house, either--she connected us with fantastic local vendors, including a great mortgage broker, cleaners, electricians, and engineers for a retaining wall project. Her guidance on crafting a competitive offer got us the home we loved, and the entire paperwork and closing process was seamless and efficient. We were genuinely amazed at how effortless buying a home from 1,000 miles away could be. If you are relocating or buying locally, you could not ask for a better advocate than Ashton!"

Not only did she expertly…read morenegotiate and secure a contract that we were very happy with on our dream home, but she also took a very proactive role in helping us to clear some challenging obstacles related to the sale of our home in a different state even though she wasn't handling that transaction. Every single time I felt the stress bubbling up, one phone call to Leah would calm my nerves and remind me that there was nothing to worry about because we were in the best possible hands. From our first showing to closing day and beyond, it was obvious that in addition to her extensive expertise, Leah is genuinely passionate about helping her clients enjoy a smooth and successful home-buying experience. I love how communicative and efficient Leah is. I never had to wonder what was going on because she always kept us in the loop and gave excellent advice throughout the whole process. She has a strong network of reliable contacts for anything you might need from inspectors to movers and everything in between. When logistical issues prevented us from physically making it to the closing on time, Leah jumped in and served as our surrogate by doing a video final walk-through for us and collecting the keys. She then met us at the house with a sweet arrangement of thoughtful gifts and a few essentials that came in very handy after a long day of traveling. Buying a home anywhere is a very stressful process. Buying a home hundreds of miles away from your hometown while trying to sell your current home and juggling the endless logistical challenges of a cross-state move makes regular home-buying stress seem like child's play. The most valuable lesson I learned in this whole process is that you should choose your realtor as carefully as you choose your future home because that one choice can play a huge role in whether your dream home becomes a reality or devolves into more of a nightmare. As I write this review sitting comfortably in my beautiful new home that likely would have slipped through my fingers had I chosen any other agent, I can assure you that Leah Akiki is the dream maker you need in your corner. There is no better real estate professional and nobody else I would ever consider using for my future real estate needs.

It was a done, sign and go interaction and we received top dollar. I recommend Janice to everyone. She is a superstar. She can answer questions that are extremely nuanced and she cares about every client. It's a surreal gift. The process of buying a home especially the time we did, the market was extremely competitive. Homes were easily having at least 10 offers at a time, so how can you stand out. We were able to close on a house within a little over a month of starting our home search. We worked with Caitlin and she was absolutely fantastic! I would recommend Kelly+Co without a second thought. If I ever did have to sell a house, I'd use them. I love the convenience of everything they have to offer. Their office is really cute as well :). I have been renting from Firstkey for 3 years. I've had a number of struggles but the worst is that…read morethey let it rain in my house for 3 months before even attempting a repair, it's still not fixed, and now they're trying to scam me out of my money. Details below. So it was RAINING IN MY HOUSE (a serious condition they were required to address quickly per our lease). I withheld rent to get their attention, as no one was responding otherwise and it had been two weeks with no action and canceled appointments. All my calls kept getting sent overseas and the call centers in India will not even provide you with a phone number for a local office, and you can't find it anywhere online. Eventually, someone contacted me once they were inconvenienced by my lack of payment, and I explained that if I am paying to live somewhere, the dwelling must be safe and our belongings protected. They agreed in principle, said they'd make a note of it, and promised progress eventually. Despite numerous conversations, they didn't fix the roof--instead, they issued an eviction. Unaware of the legal nuances at the time, I quickly paid everything current to avoid further issues. Then they told me I owed an extra $906 for an eviction that shouldn't have happened. It took THREE MONTHS before someone came to "fix" the roof, and I didn't even know it was done because their contractor never responded. I disputed the $906 eviction fee. They claimed it was because I hadn't sent a certified letter about withholding rent, even though we'd had DOZENS of phone calls in that time discussing the matter. (Lesson: send a certified letter 7 days prior to withholding rent and consider depositing the funds with the court. Hope that helps, folks!) Despite their breach of the lease by allowing the roof to profusely leak for 3 months, they still pursued that charge and lumped it into my rent, making it unavoidable. The property manager, Jessica Sierra (or Ciera?), said she couldn't remove the eviction fee but could request an inconvenience credit for the unusable room. Because reaching them took over a week and the fees were lumped in with rent--risking a late payment--she said not to worry about a late fee while she checked with management. Later, Iman Johnson from the Orlando office approved a $300 inconvenience credit--insultingly low but I wanted it to be over so I countered with $400, and she called me back the next day saying "Good news, we were able to get the $400 inconvenience credit approved" and I thanked her. When I went to pay, nothing had been removed from my bill. I contacted Iman about the $400 credit we agreed on and the $100 late fee Jessica promised to waive. Suddenly, the $400 credit also included the $100 late fee, though that was never once mentioned. It was a bait-and-switch. I told Jessica I wouldn't pay the extra $100, as I was promised both the $400 credit and a waived late fee, and they were represented as totally separate items in separate calls, and I wouldn't have been late at all if it wasn't for Jessica telling me she needed time after ignoring me for over a week. She said she'd review the call recordings and get back to me--two weeks later, still nothing. Director Maribel Stout also promised to follow up after reviewing the calls but never did. Meanwhile, rent is due again, and despite my daily emails and calls asking for resolution, no one responds. Worse yet, the roof still isn't fixed! It now leaks enough to create condensation and soak the floor after rain. My laptop, left open on my desk, was damaged because the leak continues and it's stuck in a power cycle loop-- silly me to think I could leave that there. I'll be taking it to Apple to have their team confirm the cause of the issue. This saga began 2/15 and continues today, 5/28, with no resolution and no management contact. They actually have since removed all credits from my account and left the $906 charge, will not respond, and have issued another eviction because I won't pay the unnecessary fees and refuse to let them continue to gaslight me that this is normal. It's not. And it wouldn't hold up in court when presented with all of the plentiful instances of negligence I've documented. I rarely leave bad reviews, but they earned this one. I hate stress and conflict, and I just want this resolved. I hope someone will be fair with me before my rent is due in three days. I'll update as necessary.

What's crazy about this situation is that these were supposed to be family friends. I purchased my 1st home using Andrew Morgan as my real estate agent, and put full trust in Page and Andrew. Big mistake. I've wound up in the worst financial position of my life because internally these people are as dishonest as it gets. My inspection was basically botched, and I've wound up with a home that is borderline unlivable, and unfortunately I can't afford to fix much. I was looking for something that cosmetically could use some work, but functionally was sound. I told this to Andrew directly, but instead I would up with a house that has severe problems. The first week I moved in - I had 7 roof leaks and my master bedroom ceiling caved in. An extension of the house that was originally a car port also has problems. The wall facing the front yard where a large window was put in, originally a brick wall for the carport, leaks water down the wall when it rains heavily. I noticed there was calk along the floor because of this - again not disclosed. I got a contractor out to take a look and they said likely when this space was redone, a weather barrier was never put in place. A roof boot was also supposed to put around the electrical mast in my closing contract, and that was never done. So this spot also leaks water into my house when it rains heavily. My furnace, which was supposed to be serviced and in operating condition (part of my closing contract) went out the second week I lived here on the coldest day of the year. It cost me $1000 to fix. I then quickly discovered the house can't maintain temperature because there is zero, not kidding, zero insulation in the house. When it's below 60 degrees, my thermostat can not get above 55. For one month in the winter - my electric is above $500 for a 1400 square foot house, and my gas is above $400. When confronting Page about this she said "You think it's the seller's responsibility to disclose this"? Absolutely, Page. I think when a house literally can't maintain temperature and utilities for a single month are $1000 for a small house, I do think it should be disclosed. This problem is reversed in the summer, and the house can't cool. It gets above 80 inside. Additionally, there was a Norwegian roof rat infestation on the property I also had to deal with, getting exterminators out to the property. My water heater constantly trips and has to be reset, meaning on any given day I never know if I get to take a warm shower or not. The master shower, which was supposed to be repaired via my closing contract, is also a joke. It's basically unusable because the floor is unstable (crawl space) and the shower head pipe has fallen out of the wall. The night before putting an offer on the house - I looked over the inspection and saw a lot of red notes, but honestly things I didn't quite understand. I asked Andrew what his thoughts are, and he said none of them were a major concern. That turned out to be a big joke. His words were "This is a great house, and it's a great investment". When confronting Page about the issues present, her response was "Well we were under the impression that the house was in poor condition, but you wanted to make an offer anyways." Are you kidding me? Tell your son to tell you what he told me about this being such a great house and great investment. These people typically sell multi million dollar homes in the East Cobb area, and I gave Andrew a chance to tap out early on because I started to get the feeling that he wasn't taking the time to really listen to me, or show me houses that I was most interested in. He said not to worry, so I went against my better judgment because they were supposed to be family friends. I was naive to trust them, and I hope others take caution.
