It's not like I don't have other dependable online retailers, but they carried multiple versions of what I was looking for and this allowed me to consolidate shipping cost into one order instead of multiple orders from multiple retailers and therefore multiple shipping charges and multiple days I'd have to be home to sign for delivery. What happened next exceeded my expectations. The way these valuable (to me) bottles were packaged was off the chart (in a GREAT way)! I was SO elated they took the care to package everything so well. I may have spent a lot of money but I really appreciated the hand written note!!! I showed my wife. Like writing a review on Yelp, I only tell my wife when something is really good, or really bad. I then told my neighbor. He and I, separately, spend up to several hundred dollars per month on our whiskey hobby. That's average, so sometimes less, sometimes more. I absolutely feel like I've found a gem of a store, a place so solid in service that they are in my research rotation now. I have no doubt I'll be ordering again.

The wait time was estimated to be an hour and a half, so we put our names down and just ended up walking to the beach to kill time, but they actually confirmed our table in less than an hour. The fish was very crispy, moist, and well-seasoned. The coconut prawns were also done well with the coconut being not too cloyingly sweet and the prawns again having a nice crispy texture. The salsa on the side was a nice refreshing complement too. For drinks, I ordered the battery point blonde ale and guava mango margarita. Both were very good. At the gift shop there was a display of Aunt Laurie's Crack Corn. I purchased the strawberry cheesecake. Within 5 minutes of opening the bag everyone devoured it! It was THAT good! A couple of days later we found a little gift shop in Brookings. I went in and there was a HUGE display of Aunt Laurie's. Crack Corn. I got so excited!! Then a guy from behind the counter says "this is Laurie!" and pointed to the lady standing there. I was a bit star struck! Ha! I told her how we loved the crack corn. They quickly told us they had samples of all their flavors. Oh my gosh! We bought many bags! The jalapeno is amazing! There are many other items in the store. We bought some different salsas, sunflower seeds, candy, etc. I highly recommend you run here right now and get you some crack corn! You can thank me later! They also ship! We had a great time visiting with Laurie and her family. Talk about nice, humble, and great humans!
