He ushered me along with the comment that he had to serve others?? Wtf? As much as I spent in this store over the years I thought for sure this kid wouldn't rip me off. It's bright, welcoming, and a comfortable place to relax after a morning of exploring the coast. The service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The food was good across the board--our burgers were juicy and flavorful, the nachos were piled high with toppings and easily shareable, and the crispy tater tots and sweet potato fries were the perfect sides. We also sampled one of their lighter beers, which was crisp, refreshing, and paired well with lunch. If you're passing through Crescent City or spending time in the area, SeaQuake Brewing is a solid stop for good food, quality craft beer, and excellent service in a clean, comfortable setting. It's not like I don't have other dependable online retailers, but they carried multiple versions of what I was looking for and this allowed me to consolidate shipping cost into one order instead of multiple orders from multiple retailers and therefore multiple shipping charges and multiple days I'd have to be home to sign for delivery. What happened next exceeded my expectations. The way these valuable (to me) bottles were packaged was off the chart (in a GREAT way)! I was SO elated they took the care to package everything so well. I may have spent a lot of money but I really appreciated the hand written note!!! I showed my wife. Like writing a review on Yelp, I only tell my wife when something is really good, or really bad. I then told my neighbor. He and I, separately, spend up to several hundred dollars per month on our whiskey hobby. That's average, so sometimes less, sometimes more. I absolutely feel like I've found a gem of a store, a place so solid in service that they are in my research rotation now. I have no doubt I'll be ordering again.
