Don't get SCAMMED in to buying an rv at this dealership. I bought an rv from here and it's taken them 4 months to get it ready. I've had to waste money on cabs going back an forth because they couldn't uphold the conditions of the bill of sale. I received the rv in a dirty condition. (No attempt at detailing) I'd like to say thanks to Anita since she was the only person with any knowledge at this dealership otherwise I'd like to give negative stars. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Stay away if you don't want a headache. Picture clearly shows how bad I received it. I took our unit in for repair, I was to be told that service would take 5 to 7 days and wasn't very poor service and very unprofessional communications from service manager. if you buy a unit from Western RV in Leduc take it to Leduc for service. read more

I have bought four trailers in my life but never have I ever been treated with the respect and courtesy that these guys gave everyone in my family. We were not pressured to buy a bigger unit and were given a fair trade. To be honest we will only every purchase from this place because we had such an awesome experience. The staff is awesome! Everyone that we met, our son loved the kids shirt and the staff were awesome with him. Darell our sales guy was top notch and the manager was fantastic! We are extremely happy customers. Go there! Holy smokes. Did a ton of research on what I wanted, and knew what I was looking for ahead of time, just needed a place to get it from so I wouldn't feel pressured to buy something I did not need or want, this is a good idea to do when you're looking into trailers, ESP for your first buy. After a ton of talking to friends and reviews online, I finally got in touch with this place and can't even tell you the level of service I've gotten from the start of looking, to the sale, to taking care of the notorious new trailer problems. I'm from a place where there are no rv dealers so I was getting into this kind of blind, and had a bit of anxiety getting into a deal. Every step of the way I was taken care of, my questions answered honestly and throughly, even if I didn't like the answer so I knew what I was getting into before making the 5 hour trip to finalize and pick up. I knew buying new would be expensive and was prepared for it. You're not going to get places that will give deals of sticker price so I don't know why people complain about that. If you want new you have to pay for it, wanna save a bunch? Then buy used. Same for cars and trucks. Sometimes people swear the petty stuff in a huge purchase as I've seen in other reviews. This place even put me and my family up in the nicest hotel I've ever been in after the long drive to Edmonton, and the salesman even went out of his way to get my daughter a small gift that made her day! (Not to mention the kids place to play while you do your stuff, and all the things for older kids to do too to kill time, this place has thought of it all) I wish I could give these guys 6 or 7 stars for making such a big purchase seem relatively easy, even for someone with high anxiety like myself. There are SOOOOO many rv dealers out there, it's hard to find the right one. My wife and I intended on purchasing a trailer at this business. Before seeing any formal documentation we were asked to place a deposit on file. The business was in process of transferring two new units in from another owned location. The following weekend we went to look at the units that arrived. We offered to purchase one of the units. After consideration in the weeks to follow we decided to wait until spring 2017. When we asked for our deposit back we were informed deposits were non refundable. We were never notified of this at the time we were asked for the deposit and actually never received any documentation until a week later. This is fraud. read more

Spending any money on a new trailer? Our newly purchased 2013 Dutchmen/Coleman trailer is being serviced for a broken water pump that leaked water throughout the floor causing unknown water damage after using it twice. The pump along with a number of minor finishing issues have left us without a trailer to use as it sits in the shop on this beautiful summer day. We hope to hear good news from Allstar RV about giving us extended warranty as a courtesy. Thanks to Mike in the Service department for showing care and attention to our concerns. We would not ever purchase another RV from All Star. Our story is too long to get into; but right from Sales to Service to the Service Manager to the General Manager, we had an extremely horrible experience. As an end result, and after their GM telling us in an email to take our warranty service business elsewhere, we took our unit to another dealership in Edmonton and they fixed the problems without any difficulty (the same problems All Star said didn't exist and were unwilling to investigate further). Faulty wiring was the problem which could ultimately have been a bigger issue in the future. They just don't care.....We would give them no stars but needed to give something to have this published. STAY AWAY FROM ALL STAR RV!! read more

If you're looking for a fancy showroom,with pushy sales people. You've found the right place. The lot has a plethora of various types of trailers,fifth wheels and tent trailers,if you have an umlimited budget. Be prepared to be told which units they will sell you, also be prepared to pay exactly what the sticker says,plus added fees and GST. If you're looking at a new to you unit, expect to pay for them to paint your steps,your jack stands and clean your unit,among other various things they will do,to the fine tune of just shy of 500.00. If you enjoy being told over and over and over " this unit will sell this weekend,you'd better put a deposit down!" Again,this is def. the place to feel pushed into a sale,a full priced sale, with zero wiggle room. Shop around,I know from personal experience,that within spitting distance you might just find,down to earth sales people, the exact same floor plan units, prices with wiggle room, and PDI approx 450.00 dollars cheaper. I'll also note, we still haven't bought a unit anywhere,as we aren't in a hurry, but won't consider Allstar for any future family purchase. read more

I found one of there adds on kajiji and decided to give them a call. I wanted to see what was available and wasn't thinking of buying a trailer yet. I got a salesman named Darrel. He ran all over there lot looking for trailers that met our needs. Before I knew it, we found one and it fit our budget. He also got us the generator we wanted. I have a lifted truck that needed a 12" drop hitch including the equalizer hitch so he went out of his way to get one before we got there. We live in BC and needed insurance to get the trailer back. The finance lady sent everything we needed to our insurance company before we had even signed anything. Two days later we showed up. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. They knew we where on a very tight time limit with a 10 hour drive ahead of us. Everything was ready to go before we showed up. We went through the trailer, inspecting it for ourselves as they explained how to use everything. Then, signed the paper work and before we knew it where on the road with our new trailer. Very friendly and great service from all there staff. Darrel even called us the next day to make sure everything was going good with the trailer and how our trip went. He told us to call him if we had any concerns or issues with the trailer and that he would make sure that they got resolved. Great experience read more

I would like to thank All star RV for NOT replacing a simple part on my RV that came with it. And the general manager for only offering 2 options: Option 1: get nothing at all. Option 2: settle for a crappy non matching part that I would have to assemble and install myself. Even after my 4 year old rv almost was totalled in thanks to the great craftsmanship of the NOT so sturdy frame they had to offer and the $10K plus repair bill that was paid and the $2K tow bill In grand total, almost $50K invested into something that is only worth a quarter of it and can't even replace the proper parts. Thanks all star RV for the most amazing customer service ever! NOT! I totally recommend this place if you really really want to know what it's like to get raked over the coals. Negative stars!! DO NOT PURCHASE from Western RV Grande Prairie or AllStar RV Sherwood Park! I will elaborate - on July 23, 2019 we signed paper work to purchase a new 2020 Forest River Wolfpack fifth wheel, picked it up from Western RV Grande Prairie on July 26th, 2019 by August 14th, 2019 we had it back to AllStar RV for warranty work. We were sent an email October 16th, 2019 that our trailer would be ready and repairs would completed by Friday, October 18, 2019. This was A LIE and they had only actually verify 2/14 of the repairs off the list that was given to them. As we did go to look at in -20 weather we asked they bring the fifth wheel inside the shop so we could have an all around inside and outside of the trailer. They left it outside and we could not get the door to the battery box open to be able to see the full trailer which we knew this ment they wanted us to take the trailer with the repairs not being complete. They are still arguing with us about the repairs stating that "we can use it for the season" even though the wall panels still have water marks from water leakage on a brand new 2020 trailer and who knows what the carpet inside it looks like now after sitting in the lot freezing and thawing for the last 8 months. Not one person from either company has been helpful. We have been in contact with the manufacturer, AMVIC and the BBB. Hoping to get some better results. I wish people would have more respect for one another. All in all stay far away from these companies. read more

Cheryl at Allstar screamed at my coworker over the phone, yelling personal insults and profanities, all to get our 20ft RV off her property immediately, after we were told they weren't able to work on it (for reasonable reasons that none of us had anticipated). I really wish I was being exaggeratedly angry in this review, but this was the truthful, unbelievable customer service nightmare with Cheryl. We were told by Allstar that the crappy Crown towing person who delivering our RV had for some reason disconnected the drivetrain, and so Allstar wouldn't be able able to work on it - We didn't know about this problem beforehand, Allstar didn't either, it was an honest unfortunate occurrence. They then gave us no turnaround time in demanding it be towed from their house (this place is not an actual shop btw). So we scrambled frantically - the reason for towing was that the RV's owner, my coworker who was screamed at, just got out of the hospital and can't drive it. That also sounds exaggeratedly sappy to fluff up a review, but it's actually true. Up to this point Todd had been so helpful and responsive on the phone in working with us to meet our renovation needs, and I had high hopes for working with him. It's a shame to have had this one unacceptably terrible encounter be the reason for this rating. read more

We bought our RV Brand New from Allstar RV.. We Have had nothing but troubles with it. We understand sometimes you can buy a Lemon.... But really when you buy extended warrenty and you call service and drive 5 hours to the RV place to have it looked at to hear we need to contact Warrenty.. And then ..Two months later we call 3-4 times a week and still they only say I will take a message and let service know you called... I am not IMPRESSED !! Save yourself some money don't BUY extended warrenty... they won't help you anyway !!! read more

We spent over 50,000 for our new RV and because this was a big purchase for us, we purchased every protection package available, paint, tires, appliances, etc. After two summers the front of our RV is very badly faded. Having paid over 2,000 for a paint protection package, that is supposed to be valid for 5 years, we took the rv in to have it fixed. Well it has been a nightmare. The company honoring the package says the manufacturer has something on the trailer that won't allow the protection to be honoured. The manufacturer says that is up to the company who sold the package to pay for the work - the bottom line is no one wants to do anything. All Star took over 6 months to get back to us, just to tell us too bad. Use caution when purchasing your RV here and certainly don't purchase any additional packages the finance department tries to sell you because they are great to take your money, but they are certainly not great to honor the products they are selling. read more

soooo.....after making a deal on an rv and getting the paperwork for ownership and trade in of my current rv, the dealership calls me and tells me my trailer is rotten and they are surprised that my side by side atv didn't fall out of the bottom of it (its a toy hauler). they offer me $8000 to start with, then offer me $1000 dollars. the sale was subject to inspection. I aknowledge NOW there was a soft spot in the floor, I had hauled my side by side around in the toy hauler with no issues. I was told after the deal was reneged on that I paid too much for my rv (although I was paying retail for THEIR rv and getting wholesale for mine) also was accused of "knowing my rv was rotten" by the manager or whoever the guy was with the clipboard and the inspection checklist. I took the rv back and understand there was a soft spot on the floor and they had made their offer sight unseen, but yet I'm out for having transferred plates and insurance. I don't feel that this practice of taking rv's in on trade then offering next to nothing for them is a fair practice. Also the attitude expressed through this process was a bit disturbing with the accusations as well as the abuse regarding my trade. I'm actually glad the transaction didn't go through. There are better deals out there privately and a person need not put up with unscrupulous business practices. read more
