All-Star Training teaches students of all ages 4 and up. Our daughter started lessons when she was 4 and she is 11 now. Kristina is so patient and knowledgeable. The horses are so sweet and Kristina knows their different personalities and riding style, she chooses the right horse for each rider (unless you're lucky enough to have your own you'd like to learn on, she also boards). Our daughter learned a lot more than just horse riding! She learned confidence, endurance, perseverance, empathy, balance... if there is one thing that will make a kid self-assured it's controlling a thousand lb animal. It's been amazing watching her riding skills and overall maturity develop over the years. All the students and parents are easy to get along with. I grew up riding horses but never had any formal training. It wasn't until I found Kristina that I realized what it was to TRULY ride! Kristina is extremely knowledgeable and has years of experience in the horse industry, both in teaching and training. I am an adult and was looking for real riding instruction for an upcoming trip, and after trying two different ranches near me I felt like all I was getting was a glorified trail ride without true training. Ok you guys, so an item on my bucket List was to learn how to horseback ride. I did my research, I googled a few different places which seemed to all have different prices. When I spoke to the owner Kristina of All Stars, she was very helpful, professional and assured me that she would give me the proper training. I've always wanted to learn to horse ride but never had any experience with a training facility. All Star Training had good reviews, was close to me, and seemed affordable. This place is absolutely amazing I really wish I could give it more than 5 stars! I have taken horseback riding lessons with a few different instructors before and kristina is by far my favorite. She is a very educated and patient instructor. She knows how to meet her students at their level and teach them in a way that really resonates. I took lessons at a different facility for over a year and I didn't learn half as much as I have with Kristina in 2 months. I have been able to work with a few of her horses in my lessons and they have all been so well behaved. It's clear she takes great care of them. We started working with Kristina two years ago. My youngest daughter was my tricky one. We tried dance, cheerleading, soccer, you name it, and we just could not find anything she was passionate about. A good friend had recommended All Star Training to us, and as a desperate mom trying to find something she would enjoy we gave it a go. I cannot tell you enough what a positive experience this has been not only for my daughter, but myself as well. It's hard to describe how wonderful of a person Kristina is but here it goes: I contacted Kristina when I saw a horse she had for sale and I wanted more information. I purchased a horse from Kristina, the owner about two years ago. The horse was smart, beautiful and in great health. I decided to come back to Kristina this year after a bad experience I had at the previous training facility I had her at. Within three months my horse not only has improved significantly in her temperament but her coat has gotten healthier and her muscles are developing significantly. As soon as her feet, weight and physical condition were brought back to where they needed to be Kristina immediately had her saddled and started riding her. Kristina has excellent communication skills always letting me know exactly how my horse is doing and what she has worked on for the week. Kristina also welcomes the horses owner to come and watch her ride the horse and see themselves what is going on with training. She also teaches me how to handle and ride my horse. I am a beginner rider and Kristina pushes me to do my best. I feel like I am improving my skills significantly as well as my horse is able to do whatever I ask her to do without hesitation. MOST OF ALL MY HORSE IS SAFE and I feel confident in riding her and trusting my trainer. I would highly recommend this stable for both horses and owners to work together and be trained. I have gained more knowledge here that I did two years with another trainer. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE All Star Training. Kristina the owner is incredible! Last summer my daughter wanted to start horseback riding lessons, originally from the Central Valley, I wanted her to start lessons at a facility and with instructors who I knew I could trust. Kristina (and ALL of her instructors) have exceeded this expectation. In the summer, my daughter did weekly lessons and now that she is back in school, she does lessons on Saturdays. My daughter and I drive from Oakland, CA for her lessons and it is completely worth it. Even though she is not attending weekly (will again this summer) she is still learning so much about how to care for a horse, safety on a horse and how to ride. My daughters joy and happiness while she is there is all that I care about - the travel is worth it. I couldn't imagine taking lessons anywhere else! I have been taking lessons from Kristina since I was 8 years old, I am now 24 and I still ride here. THERE IS NO BETTER PLACE!! She is truly gifted when it comes to horse training. Her techniques are amazing and she is always looking out for both the horse and rider.
