I purchased a 2013 Subaru Outback from them in April. I had an inspection done before buying it, and one of the issues was the brakes, which AAA said they'd replace. It took almost a month to make that happen (or so they said; the corrosion on the rear discs indicated otherwise). The transmission went at the end of September, and when my auto body shop was repairing that, they noticed the brake pads were low, and the brake light just came on, so I have yet another significant repair to make, one which should not be the case if they had done the job properly at the dealership. So yeah, I will never buy from them again, and I strongly discourage anyone from going there at all. read more

I purchased a 2011 Ford Escape from Allstate Auto after dealer (Ted) assured me that the car was very reliable. Within days I found out that the entire suspension needed to be replaced, the engine and transmission were failing and to make matters worse, the entire frame of the car was cracked and rotten and the rear shock mount was going to break, which is a major safety issue. The dealership has liability when a car can cause bodily harm, but these crooks just don't care. I paid $5000 for one of the worst cars imaginable because I trusted this car dealer. Six weeks later and after losing all my money, I was told that the car is not even worth $50!!!! If you value your life, the lives of your family members and your money, PLEASE DON'T BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! They tweak the cars so that you think you are getting a good deal, but what you will get is a car that will break down within days or weeks. I am brought a used 2005 Ford ranger that the crooks sold me the salesman Ted told me the tires were good and the tires were weather cracked and balaging and different sizes from front to back and the tail lights and head light didn't work and Ted had me. Sign papers and he knew I couldn't see what I was signing and Ted lied. If you are looking to buy a used car, please stay clear of this business! We bought a used Chrysler Town and Country 2011, with 218,596 miles from Alan, the owner. Paid $6000 plus our old 2005 GMC Yukon. He refused to let us road test it, claiming its illegal to drive on the road before transferring ownership. Immediately, we found out the car has a major transmission problem. We tried to return the car, but the dealer kept disappearing and when we finally got hold of him refused to take it back. We had to pay $3,500 for a new transmission to make the car roadworthy. Absolutely horrible experience. Steer clear of this car lot!!! My 19 year old daughter purchased a 2011 Kia Sorrento from Ted that, as can be expected from any used car, had a couple small issues. He assured us that he had driven the vehicle himself and had it checked out and it should be a great car for several more years. Well shame on us for being trusting. We took the car to 2 different shops for quotes to have the issues addressed and found there were significantly more issues than we previously thought. The first shop (Kia dealership) quoted us $10,000 worth of repairs. Among them, even though this car is only 10 years old, the whole rear subframe was rusted out to where a screwdriver could be pushed thru it, and the entire rack and pinion needed to be replaced due to a power steering fluid leak. The second shop, our regular mechanic that we trust, told us this car shouldn't be on the road unless it was fixed. He also said it looked like someone had spray painted the underside to hide the rust. We were quoted $2000 in repairs "for starters", and the original issues hadn't even been addressed yet. I went to Ted with the news of these issues and did not even get a response. I called the phone number listed on my receipt and on the website and got an "out of service" message. Now I have an $8000 lesson learned sitting in my driveway that nobody dares to drive. Steer clear!!! read more

This place is a joke. Buyers beware, just as all the other reviews left by other unsatisfied buyers, I as well am accusing them of being scam artists. Just as a review I just read stated, they do not register the warrenty until something actually happens with the car. Do NOT ask AA Auto 'what is wrong with my car.' They have 0 auto technicians on their staff, and will come up with some bull crap way of temporarily fixing it. For example, the serpentine belt on my car was on the verge or tearing apart. How did they 'fix' the problem? They sprayed it with a little bit of WD-40 and sent me on my way. Later that very day, to my surprise, the serpentine belt came apart, luckily I was close to home. I went and got the serpentine belt fixed by a trusted auto service center, luckily I got it fixed for free (only because they had an extra belt laying around the shop, NOT because of the warranty.) But it only gets worse... After about 2 weeks of ownership of the car, it started overheating. It seemed to happen randomly. The car also started shifting very harshly. I brought this up to AA Auto, they told me to go to their preferred auto service shop and that they would help me out. The service shop was a Muffler Man down the road from AA Auto. The people at Muffler Man are good people, they themselves do not try to cut corners, and my advice to them would be to start denying work from AA Auto. Anyways, after I brought the car there, they told me that the hard shifting was because of a broken transmission mount which made sense. They fixed that, although I still had to pay the $150 bill for the repair. They also told me that I should flush my coolant, which I did, in high hopes it would fix my over heating problems. It worked for a little bit (about a week) but the car started overheating again, and I ran into the same issue as I did before with the transmission shifting hard. Then that's when everything went way downhill. I drove the car to work after bleeding the coolant system one last time. I made it all the way to work without an issue. On the way back from work, half way home, my car started overheating, smoking, and knocking. Once again, I got lucky, as I broke down near the 'preferred auto repair shop' AA Auto had sent me too for the overheating issues the first time. It was right around closing time at the repair shop, and there was one guy left there at the Muffler Man. He saw I was having issues and recognized who I was from the first time I brought my car in there. That is where I started learning the truth behind these guys at AA Auto. After pouring my story out to this guy, he came back and told me how they are know for scamming people. Little did I know, the owner Allen Anderson, was charged with molesting women while test driving their cars (if you need proof, look up his name in google, it will be one of the first results that comes up). It just goes to show the true character of his being and the business that he runs. Anyways, I ended up blowing my head gasket, and also had a bad shifting sensor in the transmission. Since that point we have tried contacting AA Auto multiple times. The warranty only covered $1000 if the $2200 of the repair (do not be fooled by this 'great warranty'). After we tell whoever answers the phone at AA Auto who we are, they hang up. They want nothing to do with their customers after they leave the lot. All of the paperwork for this car is phony. We have 3 separate totals for how much we bought the car for. I received multiple letters from the credit union that issued me my loan. Every day for about 2 weeks I would receive a notice that we were denied 'changes' to our loan. Changes that requested more money than we had already agreed on. I laugh about it now, as they will have their day in court, but this is a warning for all those who are looking to buy a used car... Unless you like drama, do NOT buy a car from these scam artists. read more
