I had a new fence. Installed in 2019, and had to call the company back as the fence is coming apart. The person sent to my home to look at the repair was out of Lubbock and actually told me this was the worst fence he had seen from his company. I was then sent an estimate of $1400 to repair and replace some of the pickets. The fence cost $2700 to begin with. I had another contractor come over who is known for fencing and he said the only repair to the fence that needed to be made was to re-nail each picket with the right nails. Allstate fencing had put up a fence using the wrong nails to begin with and then in less then 3 years later wanted to charge me for repairs that should have never been needed to begin with. It costs me $250 to re nail using nails with gripper tips If Allstate fencing does not honor their work, then run don't walk away from the company. One of they drivers had rocks flying off of his vehicle. Spoke to the manager about it. Sent pictures, they're not doing anything about it. Now I'm stuck with a cracked windshield. Would not recommend. read more

Replaced a worn wooden fence. Poor job, very poor job. After only a few weeks, a few boards are already starting to warp and pull away. The installers did not put a latch/handle on the inside of the fence. You could get into the yard from the alley but once in the yard, you could not get back out. It took over a month for someone to come back and "fix" this issue. It looks like a child did the work with the overcuts, plus they left a non-functioning latch in place. It just looks awful. Not to mention the snarky attitude of the person who came to fix the issue. The fence was not cheap and now we regret using this company. Try someone else if you need fence work. These guys are not good. They also left trash and screws all over. read more

I needed a residential chain link roll fence repaired in Odessa Tx. Damage caused by a drunk driver. Due to the abundant business created by the oil boom, the original company that installed my fence were doing only business customers. I was referred to All-State. Since I was out of town, I requested some family members inspect the repairs. One Brother-In-Law stated that the gate would not open all the way. I asked my other Brother-In-Law to take a look at it. He said, "they did a piss ass job", The top rail was 6 inches off. All-State welded something on there that did not allow fence to open. read more

Without consulting me first, the fence installation crew removed what the company called rot board (I called it a "retainer wall"). Because the yard is higher than the alley, it was obvious to me the rot board was installed inside the old fence to prevent washout, and it did a great job--until it was removed. The removal of the rot board created a "trench" of varying depths and widths that runs the entire length of the yard, 40+ feet (their estimate with the exact measurement is in the other room and it is late as i am writing this and I am tired, so I am guesstimating but I bet I am darn close). In a telephone call I asked the guy I had been dealing at All State Fence why they couldn't replace the boards and he mentioned a man's name (i think it's the boss) and went on to say he (the boss) doesn't like rot board because it can cause issues. I should mention here that there were never issues with the old fence that had been in place, rot board and all, for 30+ years. I was told to throw dirt on the "low spots" (in other words the "trench", which is still 40+ feet) because they "don't build yards". I never asked them to do anything with the yard because the yard has been fine for 30+ years until it started to washout during the rains in September because they removed the rot board (yes, I have been dealing with these yahoos off and on for over a month). I also told them if it was a "low spot" i would be more than happy to fill that myself. In my opinion a 40+ foot long trench doesnt constitute a "low spot". I should have read the online reviews instead of relying on a neighbor's word of mouth. The online reviews that didnt mention an issue were glowing; however, those who had issues gave very negative reviews. I would strongly caution anyone from using this company. If you do use them and you have issues, you can't say you weren't warned. I would also like to make it clear I dont have a problem with the installers or others who are trying to make a living. My beef is solely with the "higher ups" who refuse to step up and do the right thing -- fix their mistake. read more
