It's a post office. Convenient location if you're in the Bab Village area as it's not on the main…read moredrag, but slightly off the beaten path. There is a teeeeeeny tiny parking lot that has spots for like, 5 cars so if it's busy you will see people lined up on either side of the street so take note of that. For this reason, I usually hoof it. It's maybe a mile for me but I like the exercise. Sometimes the wait here is long as with any post office, but the workers I've encountered here are generally friendly. They also have some decent cards too if you need a greeting card as well as gift cards from various retailers. My mom loves eBay so this is where I get her GCs since they don't sell eBay ones everywhere. Note they don't process passports at this location - you'll have to go to West Bab or North Bab for that. Though, they do have the application to fill out to save you a bit of time, but wished they were also capable of handling this.

First, they send back my envelope saying I need 63 cents, so I put 2 stamps on the envelope and sent it out again. Then a day later I get my envelope back and they say I need an additional $1.43! SINCE WHEN DOES IT COST ALMOST $3 TO MAIL A NORMAL SIZE LETTER/ENVELOPE WITH 7 PIECES OF PAPER? Also, why are they telling me different prices? I'm done with this postal service! When i areived to pick it up since it was there for 3+ days i was told "it never arrived, i don't know why it says that" i ended up having to go thru hoops and hurdles to get a refund that Wasnt even a 3rd of the hard drives price. FAST FORWARD to today months after that whole issue, i just opened my mailbox to my whole blocks mail. For reference my house number is 71, i had the mail for HOUSES 61, 63, 67 and of course my 71. All i can think is that i finally got my answer where the hard drive went, probably into some random mailbox they were never able to recover it from. Someone in your office is lazy, leaving peoples mail in other mailboxes to skip out of a few stops. Needs to fixed...

Neil, Kate, Lori and the gang all do an OUTSTANDING job dealing with my occasionally odd shipping requests with courtesy, professionalism and proficiency. What's more, to their credit, they do a commendable job of dealing with the spoiled, entitled, miserable jackasses who populate the vicinity, some of whom have already apparently commented below on this entry. So I live in the East Norwich district but I usually go to Oyster Bay Post office. One day I didn't have time to go to OB post office so I went to East Norwich. I had to mail a package. I didn't have any tape at home so I figure I will just wait till I get to the post office. I waited on line forever not to mention it wasn't even that many people in there it's like he just didn't want to help me finally it was my turn. Everything was an issue with this guy. First I ask for tape, he stated we don't have tape. ok I said to myself this is a post office how do you NOT have tape. so I say can I buy some tape he goes we don't have tape. Oooook then, can I purchase a book of stamps. He states we don't have any. Next I asked, Can I use your scissors please, he states I don't have any. So at that point I'm just thinking this is not so much a customer service issue it's a race issue now. So I said what am I suppose to do and he states I don't know. So I left because I knew my presence wasn't welcome there. On the other hand my mail man Matt is awesome. I couldn't have been blessed with a better mail man then him. Even when people mess up my address he knows that's it my mail. When my name is spelled incorrect with a incorrect address he knows it belongs to me. Matt has been serving me way other 10 years and has never let me down. When I do get someone else's mail I automatically know that Matt is on vacation cause Matt will never make that mistake. Due to the ever changing policies of the US Government, getting a passport for our little girl was…read moreless than a snap. On our first trip, we found out that we needed to make an appointment. After we made an appointment for a few days later and although we checked the web site current regulations where we only needed the parents to show our faces, we were told that they also needed to see our little girl in the flesh. A third trip to accomplish what we set upon. Once we had satisfied all of the obstacles, we submitted the application and now we wait. Hopefully, our little girl can go to Aruba for Christmas. As an aside, both of the people in the post office we very friendly and genuinely seemed interested in helping us acheive our goal. They were informative and at the same time, sensitive to us in our dilemma.

Now this post office has started returning my packages to the merchant, instead of putting it in the P.O box that I'm paying for. The delivery manager Juan can't explain WHY they can't put my packages in my PO box. I'm missing an expensive package that was supposedly delivered weeks ago. Time to call the postal inspector. Don't bother getting a PO box at this location... it's not worth the aggravation ..
