She quoted me a price and told me she may or may not bring someone with her to help out, but that she would let me know day of. She also asked for pictures. I sent her pictures of the home that weekend, she was out of town, but said "no worries." She was to clean the next Friday. The night before she was scheduled I texted to see what time frame I should expect her... no response. I texted her again in the morning because we needed to run an errand and I didn't want to miss her... no response. Then I called her. She said she was working on other homes and would not be finished until 4 pm and then she would be done for the day, then she offered to check around to see if she could maybe fit me in. I texted her after about an hour to see what results she had and she told me she wasn't coming. This was around 1 pm, with the funeral the following day and family members already in town. I wish she would have been upfront earlier when there was still time remaining to resolve the situation.

Carol and her team did a wonderful job. They were courteous, personable, and friendly. They use very simple cleaners that get the job done. No harsh abrasives, and Carol really knows her way around furniture and appliances, like what cleaners work best and when only water will get the job done. I was so impressed with their work. Over the past year of working with Kayla there have been consistent changes to her prices without notification, consistent attempts to nickel and dime an extra dollar out of us. She charges for every single dish she loads to every single thing she folds. When our normal cleaning went up by $100 out of nowhere a few weeks ago we inquired to why that was and she informed us that we are now paying a $20 Venmo transaction fee in addition to all these other charges to the same stuff she's been doing for a year. She did not notify us before she raised her prices either. When my family decided to terminate services with her, she referenced a contract that says she needs 30 day notice before ending. A few weeks ago we gave her notice that her rising prices were not something we can continue to do and she said she understood and then this week informed us that she needs an additional 30 days of payment to terminate the contract. When we asked her to at least clean if we have to pay $1000 (2 cleanings) can you at least do the cleaning. She refused stating after we complained about the prices she doesn't feel comfortable working for us. So she's got VERY thin skin. Words cannot express how dishonest this person is. It's really nice that she has a spreadsheet and she itemize all the things she has done which makes her come off as incredibly professional, but what it actually has shown itself to be incredibly dishonest, deceitful, & shady practices. As a business owner myself and having a family that has multiple businesses, we are very familiar with the nuances of entrepreneurship, but we are also big believers in honesty and transparency and this person does not uphold that in anyway. Recently we have found that she has been posting photos of our home (master bath and messy kitchen) on yelp and Google without any consent or permission. Legally, this is called Unauthorized invasion of privacy. This is grossly illegal. Good thing we have a lawyer in the family and will probably be dealing with her accordingly. ***update: She continues to lie in response to my review. This person is continuously disgusting and I'm sure she's gonna just continue to get this review removed. They explicitly guaranteed that everything on that checklist would be taken care of. Since I couldn't be there on the move-out date, I asked the cleaning team to send me photos to ensure everything was clean. However, my landlord later sent me pictures of a disgustingly dirty and greasy oven and microwave, among other things, and deducted $700 from my security deposit. Now, my landlord is a complete a-hole and only notified me of these deductions long after the move-out date. If I had been there, I could have communicated directly with the cleaning team. Yet, this doesn't excuse the cleaning team's behavior. They intentionally hid the photos of the filthy oven and microwave from me and did a horrendous job overall, leading to a significant loss of my security deposit. The owner also suggested that my landlord is lying; but I had one of my friends go and took a complete video walkthrough of the apartment and everything the landlord said is true. Sure, my landlord, being a complete jerk, is being extremely picky and under normal circumstances I wouldn't blame the cleaning team for those minor details. However, it's the lack of honesty that I'm beyond frustrated with, and their lack of professionalism guarantees I won't be coming back.
