We were shopping in this store, I asked if they have a public restroom, he turned and looked at me…read moreand said no. It's not unusual for a store not to have a restroom for their customers, however, to have a big door marked "baño", not "baño private or employee only or out of service. Now after seeing this I felt like told me no only after seeing me. I checked the door, it was unlocked, so I went in and used it. He seen me come out and he said "The bathroom is not meant for the public", i said "then it should not be out in the public and open" He denied my sale ($2.45), really, at this point I didn't want to be a Karen, so I left the store. I'm on a $5,000.00+ vacation and was denied the use of the restroom and a $2.45 purchase from a minimum wage earners.

Dead center is the flea market and behind the flea market is the opening to the beach The flea market has an inviting front vendor called indice or indicepr serving up whole hog lechon, finally got my fix of lechon where they offer the skin, I will review this vendor later in detail, inside the canopy's there are small vendors, churrasco types, guacho types, honey, pastries, hand rollled cigar makers onsite, jewelry makers and several other vendors under this fairly large tent Very interesting spot to hit up when your in the area, again first Sunday of the month not every Sunday Try this place out you may find something you need or want Price - depends on what your buying food was moderately priced Service ***** Ambiance *****

Artwork, hand rolled cigars, local food and drink, mojitos, sangria, plants, produce, pretty much everything you can imagine was here. Local businesses came out to sell their merchandise. When the residents come out and stand in line you know it's good. Everyone was very patient while we stumbled through our spanish and we helped them with english. Cooked food, sushi, breads, sandwiches, fresh baked pizza, booze, produce, meats and almost everything you can cook are available. I usually pick up local spice mixes to take back home as gifts instead of a keychain soon to be buried in a drawer, fugly fridge magnet or chipped shot glasses. This spice section was pretty full and was inexpensive compared to other metro areas and souvenir stands. Since everyone eats and cooks, instead of hot sauce or other bottles of condiments, I love to share dry spices or canned meats, that are easy to pack. Coffee is another one that we love to try out and share after sipping samples. Boricua is great ground dark roast to consider. Walmart might be bigger with more stuff but we really search out local grocery stores to get a feel for a pulse of the area.
