This company lie, cheat, and steal Examples 1st Unfortunately my father became ill in March (one month after starting the job) (Still on 90 days probation) I expressed my father sickness to the Credit Union....(Because I was a mess, crying and all at work)....March 16th (his birthday) my father was taken to the hospital, March 18th my father's health was taking a turn for the worse. I asked if I could take a couple of days off...Just Thursday and Friday to attend to my father's land (he has dogs and to drop them (Stepmother and little brother) off groceries. I told them my father lived on acres of land and I would just be dropping off and in no way seeing anyone (JUST TO BE SURE). I was told due to covid and my 90 days I could not go and that I must stay and work. When I arrived to work on March 18th (Because I wasn't saying anything) a meeting was called (Pamela Douglass (Manager) and Elaine Darty (Asst) and myself....The meeting ran about 1 hour long and it was about how they both had lost their father's and understood what I was feeling and IF AND WHEN SOMETHING did happen to my father the 90 days would not matter and I could do whatever needed to be done. UNFORTUNATELYfor now, Greensboro Credit Union said they would ALLOW me time to talk on the phone or if I needed a minute to myself it was more than okay! On March 23rd, I came into work.....930AM I had to step outside (Had a call about my father) didnt stay out more than 5 mins. The call just stated the Doc needed to have a meeting with the family at 10. I came back in and told Ms. Darty and her reply was (YOU JUST STEPPED OUT) and that I could sit in the next room but couldn't go back outside to have the meeting. During this meeting Ms. Darty interpreted the call TWICE to tell me she needed me back up front and I was taking to long. (However no one was in the bank)  The news I received was not good and I needed to get to my father whom was 3 hours away. As she is sticking her head in the 3rd time, I just then decide to gather my things and leave while still on the phone with family. She continues with 90 days and I can be fired if I walk out. She says hold on and calls for Ms. Douglass. Douglass then agrees I can go after I tell her I can't be here right now and I must take some time. Two hours later my father passed. I was a hour away from him..... I communicate with my job during the time I am off and because of covid I handled his arrangements over the phone (Credit Union was more than aware of this). After his celebration on the 27th. I am thinking because I handled everything at home, I would be okay to come back to work. I called my boss Saturday, no answer and no one had returned my call. I decided to text her and inform her I was coming back Tuesday and I was denied. She texted me back and said I would get a call next day. Douglass and Darty called me, explained to me I would need to quarantine for 14 days. I explained I could provide covid results and my family could also. I was told, that didn't matter they wanted me to quarantine and then go take the test. I then asked was I going to receive bereavement and covid pay. I was told I wasn't going to receive either and while I was gone, (4 days) they also changed the policy from 30 days to 4 months to qualify for insurance so I no longer have insurance either. I asked who decided that and was that allowed, how could you change a policy I signed and I already filled out for my insurance and signed for that as well, or way I couldnt just go take a covid test now. I have to wait 2 weeks and I'm not getting paid for anything?!?!?!?! I was told they had a board meeting and they can decide what they want because they run their own board. Nothing else to say but okay at that point.... NOOOOOW!!!! While in quarantine (about a couple of days later) I received a text (Darty) asking why I didn't fill out my timesheet the day I left and that I should have handed it to someone..This is the day of my father's passing SO I AM SO EXHAUSTED with them at this point .....So because I didn't sign it before leaving on the 23rd..... I was asked to leave my home to sign papers for them (Which was crazy because you told me to STAY HOME)...Paper is signed and okay for now I come back to work, after quarantine and covid test and because I AM NOT TALKING AGAIN, another meeting is called (Darty and Douglas and myself) Basically the meeting was called because I wasn't talking and they wanted to know why I was so short with them about my timesheet and THAT THEY WERE JUST TRYING TO MAKE SURE I GOT PAID! I then voiced how I felt and how they wrong it was. They had this long drawn out apology.....told me they were going to pay me and that they would give me my insurance back because....Whole review on Google or FB
