Great experience from start to finish!…read more Ehmke was responsive to my initial inquiry about service for a well that was not producing any water after the harsh winter, worked me into their schedule very quickly while also working around my schedule, and followed up every time they said they would (confirming the appointment, letting me know when they'd arrive, etc.) They were undaunted by the fact that I wasn't sure what type of well/equipment I had and said they'd come prepared, which they did. Within 30 minutes of arriving, they'd diagnosed the problem as a faulty electrical wire, and within another 30 minutes, they'd dug a trench across my yard, replaced the wire, and patched the trench up neatly. They could easily have told me that I needed a new well pump and charged me large sums of money to replace it and I wouldn't have known any better, but they didn't. The entire thing only cost a few hundred dollars. On top of that, they were pleasant and professional to deal with - I felt totally comfortable letting them wander in and out of my house unsupervised. I was pleased when I received the invoice to see that it was itemized (many contractors hesitate to provide this) and I had literally been charged only a few cents for certain parts. One unusual thing to be aware of is that they charge for their travel time - which can be extensive in rural WNY - but for me, the money saved through their efficiency and honesty more than covered that cost and I wouldn't hesitate to contract them again or recommend them to a neighbor.
