Over the phone, a Rinker agent told us that they'd refund the payment, and then we'd proceed with the payment plan as intended, but they never did. I called again, and their agent confirmed that they had processed the refund, and I should contact my bank. I did, and my bank couldn't find any attempt at a refund. I called Rinker back, and they informed me that because the purchase "fell under a different pay period" that they couldn't process the refund. Why lie to me in the first place? If the previous agent was incorrect, they should have called me when they realized the mistake instead of leaving me to pester my bank about it. Left us struggling through the holidays since we could not afford to pay the full payment in a lump sum.

Very affordable and responsive to phone calls. Years ago they put a my furnace in. Originally, I went to Home Depot to have them put in my AC. Set up a day and time for the estimate to be given, took that morning off, after waiting a few minutes for them to arrive I decided to check my phone. There was a silent missed call 7 minutes earlier so I called the employee from a well known company out of Olean back and was told the he marked me down as "no AC" I explained that I didn't have his number programmed into my phone and therefore it went to silent voicemail. It was literally less than 10 minutes when I called him back. I asked him if he could still come. I was still home.... Hem and Haw... can you come another day. Hem and hawed... Finally he said he would call me later that day when he finished the other job...... I waited with bated breath. Silence. No phone call. My philosophy- if A.S. has so much business that they can snub me they don't deserve my business. I refuse to beg for their business. Well anyway I wasn't going to necessarily have them put my AC in. I was getting a quote and still planned to call Dave Magara. Dave and his son were very courteous. They did a spectacular job and when I called they answered or at the very least returned my call. The price was very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend Magara's Heating and AC. Grrrrrrreat customer service.
