When she did wake up to use the restroom she was very anxious, screaming, yelling, swatting and myself and the staff and they had to call a male aid in to lift her and put her back into bed, because she did not want to get off the toilet she just wanted to sleep there. This is COMPLETELY UNLIKE HER! My mother has Alzheimer's disease, but never has she ever been that aggressive! I told the doctor I did not want her released that day and that I wanted them to run more tests to see what was going on. My mother had been put on IV antibiotics, (2 iv doses) for a UTI that they didn't even pick up until a day after her admission into the hospital! The day she was very lethargic was the second day she was on the IV antibiotics. Later that day I had spoken with my sister-in-law and she said her grandfather, who had the same demeanor as my mother very sweet smiling all the time, etc. had been put on IV antibiotics years ago and had the exact same reaction! They did not release my mother that day, but they did release her the following day. Doctor Erlanger was at the hospital and I asked to speak to him I told him that my mother was so much better that day and that it obviously was the IV antibiotics that caused her to be so aggressive and lethargic. He was very arrogant and smug in his response and said no that wouldn't cause that, but when I looked up neurological side effects those things were listed for that particular drug. I was just so taken aback by the attitude I received from Doctor Erlanger. He was dismissive of my concerns, and wouldn't even listen to me about the side effects of the IV antibiotics that my mother was taking. I would never see him as my PCP, just totally rude, and arrogant. Most of the nursing staff and aids were fantastic and there was one aid in particular his name was Toby Small and he was so caring and comforting to me and my mother.

When my last doctor retired I was nervous about finding someone new as I entered my senior years (55). At 62, and looking back on her care over the last 7 yrs., I may have found the best one yet. Health insurance has changed so much over the years. It will probably only get worse. If you are able to get in with Dr. Nina Fatigatti, you'll be connected to someone who will build that trust relationship and get to know you as a person as much as a patient. She is a 5 star .

I saw several doctors and specialists and Dr Bennett is the BEST. He takes time to listen to you. He gives options and ideas that I never thought of such as acupuncture or rose tinted lenses. The nurses will dim lights in the office if you need it. They are very compassionate. The doctor brings his dog into the office. Her name is Mona. She is incredibly sweet and it is calming to pet her. I have been very happy with the care and treatment that I have received from Dr Bennett and his staff.

His callous attitude and lack of understanding has caused me to search out a new physician. I don't know what happened to him, but I don't feel a need to receive care (or lack thereof) from a doctor who apparently does not give a damn anymore about his patients.

I discussed ongoing health concerns and explained that I have been actively monitoring my symptoms and seeking to identify the underlying causes of my medical issues with Brandi Duvuvei, CRNP. Ms. Duvuvei agreed to order laboratory testing. I requested additional laboratory studies. Ms. Duvuvei stated that she never heard of several of the requested tests. She indicated that she would need approval. Dr. Michael P. McGonigal entered the exam room. He stated that the requested tests would not be ordered because "we do not do those here". When I sought clarification regarding the denial, he refused to treat me and advised me to go back to a specialist. Access to my patient portal was immediately terminated. He has endangered my welfare by refusing to care for an educated patient who asks questions, and by not permitting me to retrieve my medical information from the patient portal.

Dr Balk is a Mid Life Gynecologist. I have been seeing her since I had a hysterectomy in 2001. She is THE BEST gynecologist I have ever had. She is personable and truly cares about her patients. She sits and talk with you. She really listens. She is very knowledgable and wise. I can't imagine seeing anyone else. I have never waited more than 5 mins in the lobby or in the exam room. She has special tables that go low to the ground for people who are in wheel chairs or who have difficulty climbing up on to the normal height exam tables. Her staff is always kind and helpful. The location is nice because there is an imaging center in the same building where you can get sonograms and mammograms. I went through a lot of bad gynecologists to find Dr Balk. She is true five star status.

The IV was not properly inserted into my right arm. Consequently, I was not only awake for entire procedure,but was in excruciating pain in right arm. The "twilight" sleep drug did not go into my vein, but directly into my arm tissue. Throughout the procedure I repeatedly expressed that I was in extreme pain, but Dr. Manning did not pause procedure to correct the IV. One of the top 2 worst surgery experiences I've ever had, and I've had both hips and knees replaced. I am done with South Hills Orthopaedic Surgery. My lack of care was egregious.

I finally made arrangements and was able to get an appointment for me. Because I did not have my new patient paperwork completed, the staff refused to see me. I waited 3 weeks for this appointment. As if that is not bad enough, they were extremely rude in the way they approached it (two nurses shaking their heads as soon as I said the paperwork wasn't complete. It's one thing to decline the appointment, but another thing to be so insensitive in the way they told me. I would never trust my health to such a cold, prickly staff.
