She was helpful with ideas for what we needed, answered my million e-mails for each stationery item, and definitely captured exactly what we wanted for our day. In fact, ignoring the fact that I refused their offer to have anything added. The excuse offered was that she wanted to make my job "look nicer". The changes made it badly proportioned and the added border was tacky and cheesy. In the subsequent communication with the owner, she was argumentative and defensive. She said I shouldn't have left it to the last minute (which it was not) and perhaps I should have gotten a proof (which was not offered). I was then invited to use Staples in future. While I will not be taking up that particular invitation, I will not bringing future jobs, neither personal nor business, to Split Second. Ever.

They did a lovely job with it and it was MUCH cheaper than the funeral home wanted, their designer who did it was great! She offered suggestions when we weren't sure what to put on it. Anytime I've gotten cards done they always offer a proof! Also I did read the other review - and I think she's wrong, they don't change the proportions on photos. Ever. They even had to explain that to my mother since she was wanting a rectangle size print from a square photo, they can crop to get close - but they won't stretch or misshapen photos. I will always give them my service!
