Used them a handful of of times... not once have they been on time or very happy, They are occasionally nice enough, but man watch out... the owners openly gripe about their job and the hours, 'more important things to do' blah blah blah. Really, if you are the boss you can make the organization and the rules. I'll give anybody a free pass for a bad day or two but it seems to be their MO over there. Print quality is good just terrible customer courtesy and don't expect your stuff to be done when they say to come pick it up. read more

So lI went in to order business cards on about April 7. I was told it wouldn't take long and that the time to print the cards once approve would be 24 hours. The design I gave them was fairly simple for them to reproduce. I was told that I would have a proof to review by Friday. I also paid half of my order the day i placed. Friday came and no proof so i called. When I called I was told that I could expect a proof that Monday because someone from a local University had come in that day and needed some things done so they were really busy and couldnt get to my order that had been placed BEFORE the university came in. So OK I'll wait until Monday. Monday, April 13, came and the proof not only had errors (business name) but it didn't look like what i wanted. So, I contacted them and was very specific about changing the order to something simple that would not include a picture, just words. So it took until April 20 for them to email me a proof to review of the new card design. Whenever I got the proof again, I contacted them to let them know that 1 they had placed information in the wrong spot and had put the wrong business name and they spelled Attorney wrong. I also went to the store and I was told by a staff member that i "may be charged more since you keep changing the design." So I approved everything including the paper to be used. By the end of the week no one had contacted me about picking up my cards. So I called and I was told they had to change the paper because it kept getting hung in the machine and that the paper they had to order wouldn't be in until Monday. By this time I was over the whole process. So they were going to change the paper without telling me? I picked the cards up the following week. The cards are okay, I can see where the ink doesn't look even and the paper isn't as thick as I'd like. Definitely not worth the hassle. read more

I walked into Allegra for a logo design for my business, upon the referral of a trusted friend whom had used them in the past. Opening my first business is such an exciting time, I wanted a professional logo, done right. I paid half up front for a deposit, and gave them my basic idea. My BASIC idea. I figured for $300 they'd be able to take my BASIC idea and turn it into something DOPE. A week later, I get an email with the first drafts of the logo. It was SOOOOO BAD and literally spit my basic idea out verbatim. I could have done it myself BETTER in about 20 minutes. They even used the EXACT picture that I had on my business cards off Vistaprint. It was BADDDDD. I had 6 options to choose from: ONE ugly logo with 6 color and font variations. I replied that I did not like the hands on the logo, so several days later got another draft with the same style hands turned different ways. HORRIBLE. Of course I expected to lose my deposit because "time" was spent on that garbage. $150 is a solid loss for a single mother, but LESSON LEARNED. It was so bad, my friend who recommended them felt SO BAD, he reimbursed me the money I lost. They were very friendly, I could not even take it upon myself to speak to the designer without being disrespectful. So I didn't say anything. When she called, I had to tell her to trash it and hang the phone up. I got a decent logo for $20 on Fiverr. LESSON LEARNED!! read more

I visited this business back in July 2019 and spoke with the owner to get an estimate on signs for a business project I'm working on. Provided her with the information and location I was considering and was told that she would go and check out the location, several weeks past and I hadn't heard anything, so I went to the company website and sent an email hoping to get a response, nothing. I decided to stop by the business in August to see what was the status of the estimate but was told that the owner wasn't in and was given her business card. Approximately a week later I decided to stop by the business again, the owner was available and Spoke with her and discussed a few options and show her the design of the business she advised me that she would call me in a few days with the information. Well a week past, nothing, so I stopped the business and the owner advised that the person she was get the information from now longer work for the consulting company she was get information from and that she would get in touch with the company and call me as soon as she had the information in hand. We engaged in small tall and she state that she would be out the town that I was considering opening the business because she was attending an evangelical church there, I told her that I didn't know of an evangelical church in that location. I told her that i look forward to here call with the information about the estimate. On today at 11am, August 30, 2019, I call Allegra and the owner answer the phone and I identified myself and she began to tell me that the information was on another computer and I told her that I was began to think that she didn't want to do business with me and she said that thing have been busy and started talking about things that wasn't related to what I want and I told her that she may have me confused with someone else and she mention that signs and then ask if the number on her phone was a good number for me and I said yes it is. She said she would call me back, 12:20pm, nothing. What am I suppose to think? Should I think that because of the political situation in this country that people would put color on money or that my money isn't good enough, or that this business chose not to do business with African American? This is the first time I have ever experienced anything like this. read more

I work at a local university, I had a vendor I was using to get banners, etc made by they weren't working out so I had done a large sign order with Allegra that seemingly had gone smooth. I decided to use them for a larger order of baseball trading cards for our baseball and softball teams. His whole experience with them has been frustrating. The files weren't what they needed for the first batch so I got them what they asked for. Softball cards were finally produced. I sent the baseball card files the same way I sent the softball card files, as they asked. Sent he files on a Monday, called to confirm on Wednesday if they had received and we're ok. Was told yes they'll be printed on tomorrow morning, we will call you. Never heard from them so I followed up on Friday to be told their printer was broken and they'll deliver them on Monday. Called them on Thursday around noon was told they are next up and printing that night and will be ready in the morning. My fiancé went to pick up the cards today at 1:30 because he is active duty Air Force and works at Ft. Bragg, which is closer to the print shop than my office (an hour away). The cards had not been printed. They tell him to go home and we'll call you when ready. But we live an hour away from print shop and they closed in 2 hours. No point in driving an hour to drive an hour back. So he waits because they said it would be an hour. It was not an hour. He asked to use the restroom (still in uniform from work) and they have the audacity to tell them they do not have a public bathroom. So beyond disappointed with this experience. Will not be using them again. read more

I've used them in the past when I worked with another company and got good service even when my boss came up with changes at the last minute. I am now using them for my own company and have always gotten great service. They have offered helpful suggestions and recommendations and explained why and it makes perfect sense. They are always helpful even though they are a very busy business. read more

In the real estate business, when you need a sign, you need it ASAP. I have used Allegra Print for all my printing and signs for years. Last week, I ordered sign faces on Monday, they arrived just as ordered at my office on Thursday. read more

Allegra is very slow to respond. My original attempts to place a simple order for business cards began on July 10th. I followed up weekly by email and by phone and kept getting excuses (that is when I was finally able to talk with someone or got a response). Finally my proof arrived on August 20th (yes over a month later) with errors and had to be returned before I could place my order. Today is August 26th and I continue to wait. I do not recommend this business for your printing needs as I for one do not have time to continually follow up with a company that clearly does not want our business. read more
