I called Allegro auto glass repair and spoke with Ramano - from the beginning when he answered the phone he very friendly and polite. I informed him my 2018 Toyota Sienna windshield needed to be replaced - he asked me questions about the vehicle, quoted me the price and told me he would order the windshield and it would be there the following day in the afternoon. Ramano called the next day when the windshield came in - I went to his shop but the windshield was not the right one ( this one had 2 sensor plates in the front windshield mines only has 1). Not a problem because with these new vehicles and all there sensors at least he was able to see what type of windshield I actually had and plus I live about 5 minutes from his shop - Ramano told me he could reorder it and it would be in later - we agreed that I would return the next day for him to install. All said and done - they are Amazing- got my windshield installed, gave me valuable suggestions about debris that get trapped underneath the hood underneath the front wiper area. 'To Really top it off they fixed my rubber trim that protruded out some and now it looks so much better!' I would recommend Allegro auto glass (Aurora, IL) - not only do they do an Amazing job but they go beyond and their price is pocket friendly - they take their time - they're not rushing and the results as I said are Amazing. After researching several businesses for windshield replacement, including the very popular Safelight Auto Glass etc. I happened upon Allegro here on Yelp. Most of the well advertised auto glass businesses were estimating over $340 to replace my windshield of my 2013 Nissan Rogue. After calling and talking to Ramon at Allegro, I was able to make an appointment the next day and was only charged $225. They even noticed some rust buildup near the glass edges and offered to apply solution to slow down the eventual rusting that would some day create leakage etc. The father / son team were very kind and attentive. This place is no frills folks! It's basically a run down garage. They offered me to sit in the office which had cigarette butts on floor and smoking during my visit. I decided to just go outside and walk around a bit to avoid the smoke. WARNING: My GPS didn't locate the actual address. It's not super easy to find. I ended up calling them once I was a few blocks away...and they told me where I needed to go. Highly recommended for quality work at VERY affordable price. Please read this review before you contract a company to replace your windshield- I called about 10 different windshield/installation companies and received some very interesting information. I started out with safelite and the call was answered by a salesman in a call center and was very aggressive and the quote was about $400.00 and it was not a guaranteed price, The rest of my calls were very similar and finally I call Ramon of Allegro glass, he asked my a number of questions about my car and within a few short minutes gave me a guaranteed price, and asked if I would like it the windshield installed, he could come to me or I could stop by his shop and either way the price was the same. His price was about 1/2 off what the other companies quoted. Ramon was fantastic and showed me his certifications and he is licensed bonded. The entire replacement took only about 30 minutes. Very friendly and helpful. I was needing my windshield looked at since a big rock hit from a truck and cracked it. I called them and at first they said if it was small enough they can fix. But the place it was cracked couldn't be fixed so we had to get a whole new windshield. They got one quickly that day for me and installed it.
