Noticed that the windshield trim on drivers side was loose and making noise on my 2012 Infiniti FX50 Sport. Was going to bring it to Infiniti to get it fully assessed and fixed but the dealerships outsource this type of thing and I wanted to be sure it was done properly. Scouted around the Northshore looking for someone with a stellar rep and Windshield Pros is who kept coming up as the best rated so I figured I'd give them a try (Lombard). I called and explained the issue and the office manager could not have been more helpful and accommodating (she's definitely a credit to their operation). They squeezed me in 1st thing in the morning next day at their shop and the owner (I believe) himself handled things (personable, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and by all accounts truly trustworthy). He brought me into the shop to explain a few issues after assessment and was able to fix it without needing to replace all of the expensive pieces necessary. I was fully prepared to replace everything and get a new windshield and new trim pieces but after working his magic it turned out to be unnecessary for the time being. Honest, quite knowledgeable, and very good at what they do (also had an opportunity to meet a couple other techs and they were equally savvy, friendly, and obviously knew their trade). The price was more than fair, imho, and frankly I can't think of any reason why I would go anywhere else in the future for any of our 4 vehicles. AWFUL communication about when they would come. They told me 11-2. At 1:30 I had not heard anything so I called. They were out far from my home and now they didn't know when they would be here. Mind you I had to move work meetings around so that I could be available when they got here. Had they communicated with me about this, I would have been able to plan my day better and be available. I had a great experience with the people at the Lombard office. I spoke to Hannah and she was absolutely sweet and really helpful as I had been screwed by Safelite twice and was fed up with them. She worked with me and allowed me to come in and use their office so I could work while my windshield was being replaced. Bill did it and he was very thorough and walked with me around the front of the car and went over everything. And I saved over $125! Safelite would have cost me $125 roughly more and would have gotten it from me had they not keep screwing up my appointment. Worked out best for me as they were fantastic to deal with. Very impressive from start to finish. Stopped by the Lombard facility to get my 2018 Honda Odyssey quoted. The front office staff was extremely courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Took only a few minutes to confirm my insurance information and that the new windshield would be available. They said they would call me two days later when the windshield had been delivered and they did. We scheduled the repair at their shop, and when I dropped the van off the office staff was again great and the technician Bill was simply awesome in his explanation of things (and his overall demeanor and humor!).
