Little did I know how much the teachers here would bring me to love the sweat and stress-relief of Baptiste Power Yoga. All through the lockdown of last spring, they had options for yogis of all flavors: pre-recorded audio classes, live virtual classes, guided meditations, etc. I was ecstatic when they reopened the studio for in-person classes a few months ago. The studio is bright and clean, the staff (all of them!) warm and welcoming. The class sizes are smaller due to COVID restrictions, but safety is their priority and it is truly appreciated. I will usually go to yin on Mondays with Andrea (which is excellent BTW) but I have had the pleasure of also taking classes w/ Alyssa, Jess, Sakinah, Allie, Teresa, & Lauren, all of which are terrific instructors. This is not the closest studio to me, by far, but I go b/c they are very welcoming and nurturing to their students & all who attend. I recently attended a workshop that incorporated sounds (low singing, crystal bowls, & other sound techniques) and enjoyed it w/ the exception of the higher pitched sounds which were only occasionally played. Other than that, the hands on reiki & crystal bowls and the moves were terrific. So special workshops are offered every month if you'd like to try something new. You can go on the app and register for a class like 2 weeks ahead of time or you can even drop in for a class and they can sign you up right there for the class. Drop in classes & passes are available. Passes make it easier to sign up for a class & cheaper too! The studio itself is clean and always welcoming with a pleasant smell. The restroom in the corner is clean. There are many community items that you can use (ie. mats. blocks, bolsters. etc.) if you dont have your own (everyone usually uses everything & brings their mats). I have met some great people at OGY and continue to enjoy my yoga sessions when I go. Kudos to Alyssa & Co. for building such a reputable place where people can go to create their zen.

The class I booked was a nice, slow paced yoga experience which I needed because it has been years since I've taken a yoga class. The room was small and there were quite a few people taking the class today so it felt a little cramped, but it didn't impact the yoga experience at all. The room was warm and nicely lit and decorated. The yoga instructor (and owner I believe) was very sweet, knowledgeable, and a good instructor. I was surprised she didn't ask anyone if they had any injuries or difficulties she should be aware of. I have a pre-existing back injury and I would've loved to get her variations to promote my beck flexibility while limiting pain. Overall, a nice little studio with a good instructor! I'll definitely be going back for a few more classes and I'll update my review if anything changes!

I have been trying to get into a yoga class for the last few weeks and today was it. I committed…read moreto doing it, went online, found a location close to where I would be working today & signed up as a drop in. I have never ever taken a yoga class before so I signed up for a beginner class and I honestly don't know what I thought it was going to be.....but this wasn't it. First, I couldn't find the place. The gps kept saying arrived - but I didn't believe it because it kept taking me to a shopping center. I saw Kohl's, PetSmart and BurgerKing - no way would there be a yoga studio here. But there it was right next to the Spirit Halloween store with a sign as big as day. Ok so all that farting around looking for the place made me late. I walked in literally 3 minutes before the class started. I ran into a young woman who asked if she could assist me. After explaining that I was there for my first class and apologizing for walking in at the zero hour she told me she was the instructor and that she would wait for me while I changed. Ok - so far, so good. (For me anyway, idk about those 13 other people who had to wait for me) The studio is very clean, peaceful, spacious large windows covered with blinds to set the mood and a corner with mats, blankets, blocks & eye pillows in case you forgot yours. This is where it got a little confusing for me. I thought I would get a workout, I thought someone would correct poses & posture, I thought I would break a sweat or at the very least get a killer stretch. Nope, none of the above. The instructor was sweet and did say this was a beginners class which is what I wanted and she stated that she was pregnant and would be going slowly. Ok, all that's fine - but I'm sitting here wondering what I got out of that one hour class, did I do yoga? Or did I sit on a mat inhaling? On top of everything, $15 for a drop in seems pretty expensive when most other places charge between $7 and $10. I don't know if I'll be back. I kind of want to try a different instructor but am worried that if the class is like this one was, I'll be turned off to yoga. But at the same time, I don't like writing poor reviews and they offer so many classes that it could have just been a one off. There were 13 other people in that room so there is a really good possibility that it was just me and I probably just need more than just breathing.

I was trying to sign us up for our last 2 classes on the groupon and talk about continuing membership options. I wasn't sure if we were going to enroll monthly or buy a pack of classes. I had some questions. I emailed the person I had been dealing with at least 3 times over the course of a week and left 2 messages and never received a reply. I'm not sure if we did something to offend or if they just don't want kids in the classes but I would have appreciated being told that rather than being ignored until I went away. No matter how good something may be, I'm not interested in paying my hard earned money when management does not conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner.

Xiaomin was a good instructor, she acknowledged me and my first time doing it, she was patient with me and helpful with others and myself. The studio was very clean and peaceful with relaxing music in the background. I liked that they let you use their mats and props-- some places do not. The lady at the sign-in desk was also very kind. Nothing to complain about; giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I have no other yoga studio to compare from, since it was my first.

I moved my daughter to this dance school after a friend recommended it based on the "laid back"…read morefeel. My other daughter loved going to watch so much, she gave up MMA to dance (and is now going to dance 4 classes a week!). But, why I really love it is the classes for me! I can fit in a barre class while my kids dance. They are the only studio around that has the fabulous 9:30-10:30 A.M. class - perfect for a Cherry Hill mom to walk the kids to school, get there, work out, go home and shower, and pick up the kindergartener. The instructors are positive, without being too mean or too perky. And, because I am Deaf, they keep an eye out to see if I am totally off base with what I am doing and will quickly come and help out. But the best part? I hadn't ocean kayaked off LBI for 12 years. While I am not in shape at all, just by taking barre once a week (or once every other), I was able to carry the kayak to the beach, drag it down, launch through the waves, get my daughter in, paddle us both for a half hour, then drag it back up the beach and carry it home. Oh, and when we went to Great Adventure two days later, I could ride Kingda Ka without hurting my back (which happened the year before). I may be silently cursing Michele, Kristen, or Stephanie as they make me do planks, but it is paying off big time in being stronger. I love that they focus on progress and strength and not size...both for myself and my daughters. Love, love, love this studio.

We've been part of AIM since January, and it's been such a welcoming experience from day one. My…read moredaughter was pretty anxious at first, but now she absolutely loves every class with Miss Jenn--and the special drop-off events, too. The recital was a great bonus, giving the younger kids a chance to feel proud and show off what they've learned to their parents, friends, and family. We're excited to keep watching our kids grow and become even more confident dancers!
