The dressing for the Italian salad on the menu reads balsamic vinegarette, but we got the Italian dressing. We chose because of the balsamic vinegarette. Facility is nice. Decent location. I asked to add the balamic vinegarette to the sandwich. These were to-go. The Italian sub was served made with mustard which is definitely different. The Italian salad had Italian dressing, not the balsamic that is in the menu. I'm not sure about the caprese sub, something is off. The flavor was not good. Maybe the bread. The service was nice and the transaction was good. The facility is nice, clean. There are tables for dining in as well.

What would have been an amateurish backyard party became a professional music festival thanks to…read morethe stage setup, lighting and sound that Rich provided for this 60th birthday event. Rich literally turned our back deck into a Ravinia-esque setting that made the band shine and astonished our audience of friends, family and neighbors. People were absolutely blown away. The stage and sound were the foundation of an incredibly great time. Thank you Rich!

My visit to Shiloh House (the name of the historical society's building) was nothing short of…read morespectacular. The house is so loving presented, and the woman receiving my visit has deep ties to the community as well as a very sweet nature. She shared as much information as I had time for, which was an awful lot. Fans lightly hummed to keep the air flowing, and classical music played on the second of three floors to keep the visit inviting. There is something for most people here: beautiful furniture, pictures of the early settlers, artifacts from the early industries, gorgeous woodwork and a lovely staircase, and stories that can last for hours. Zion seems like such an overlooked spot in Illinois, but it's at least worth a visit to support the house (a donation of $7 is requested) and bask in its magic.
