We most recently hired Stacey for our daughter's bat mitzvah. From the very first meeting, she was creative, resourceful, and on top of all aspects of the party. Nothing was halfway. Even when I, long since tired of the planning process, declared something "good enough," Stacey came up with something better, a wow-factor that didn't stretch the budget. On the evening of the event, I didn't do a thing. Stacey never stopped moving, never missed a thing, and when it did occur to me to check on things, Stacey beat me to it by showing up with an update. What sets Stacey apart from the myriad event planners on the north shore is her range, adaptability and accessibility. She can do a lovely, refined bridal shower at the country club just as meticulously as a loud, techno party in a loft space. She never makes you feel like you need to spend more or do more than you'd planned. She doesn't push ideas. And according to Simply Elegant Catering....one goes to Tabletoppers. Tapletoppers has it all from solid colored linens to themed linens for every holiday. As tempted as I was to get casino themed linens for the Yelp Fashion Show I opted for elegant (yet surprisingly affordable) burgundy linens instead....we'll save the casino linens for Yelp Casino Night! ;) I spoke to a lovely woman named Jen on the phone who promptly took my order and then Tabletoppers took care of everything from there: they dropped them off a day before the event and picked them up a day later! And I didn't even have to put them on the tables...thanks again to Simply Elegant! I noticed Tabletoppers has a second location in Atlanta, but was disappointed they don't have a location in Florida or I'd definitely be ordering my linens from them for my upcoming wedding! But I'm sure I'll be using them again for my party planning needs right here in Chicago! PS- Tabletoppers read my review and informed me that they do in fact ship nationwide so using them for my wedding (or any other out of town event) is definitely a possibility!
