Allen Home Inspections was very thorough. They provided a detailed report with pictures. The report provided the information we needed to request that the seller of our new home make needed repairs. In addition, during the walk through, our inspector reviewed how to handle important home maintenance issues. The pictures on the report have helped us remember where knobs, levers and breakers are throughout the home and he even noted which direction a switch or lever should be turned to turn things like the water or gas on/off. Josh was professional, but friendly and helpful as well. I hired Josh as he is a member of the national home inspection organization ANSI. The home he inspected was 60 years old. Looking at the outside it was well landscaped and the house seemed well kept. Josh spent two hours inspecting this 1300 sq. foot home with a crawl space. His written inspection summary was extremely thorough and included clear photos of all areas (including the crawl space) of the home. He provided me with an unbiased report but he also was familiar with the codes necessary for electrical, plumbing, etc. that this structure didn't meet.
