His examination was just as careful. I liked how he described anatomic and functional nuances about my feet that I was completely unaware of, and how they contributed to my complaint. He examined my shoes and demonstrated why they weren't the best for my feet and provided a list of specific brands and models that would be better. Fortunately, my foot problem will not require any major therapeutic interventions aside from some special exercises, so it seems unlikely I will have to see Dr. Robison on a regular basis. ( I suggest this is for financial reasons, of course) I always left with lots of questions. I was misdiagnosed by the practice. (Told I wasn't healing when I was) Dr Robinson (though probably qualified) spends a good part of the visit talking to his recorder (so it's hard to talk to him) I was charged for work that wasn't done, which I had to remind 2 of them to get a refund. I was told on one visit I didn't bring in the right shoes for him to see me walk in. So the next visit I brought in 2 pairs for him to see me walk in (plantar fasciitis) recovery, hopefully He adjusted 1 pair of orthotics, then when I said I had pain in the other foot too, the assistant told me he was with another patient I said I could wait. (she came back with an adjustment to other orthotic) Huh. Robinson was too busy to see me. Dr Robison's adjustments have been changed by another podiatrist, with good results. Avoid this practice! He also doesn't seem very empathic, though if he were excellent at his craft, I wouldn't mind.

He maintains objectivity in a highly emotional situation and helps sort through trivial issues to get to the primary/root issue within the co-parenting dynamic. My advice to anyone going into a CFE is to be objective and do not give conclusions based on opinions or feelings. Answer questions directly and provide all supporting documentation and information that allows the CFE make the conclusion. Also, do not be afraid to admit fault. It is not an admission of guilt but a sign of self-awareness, which goes a long way to being a "better than average parent". This is not about you, it is about your children. I would absolutely recommend Dr. David Weinstock every time to conduct a CFE, especially for someone who is in a contentious custody dispute with someone who attempts to manipulate the system; however, I would not recommend him if this person is you.

Let me tell you she is a piece of work, being from New York and having all the attitude. I was afraid of what she would say to this doctor and in fact was told never to return to another doctor's office. I made the appointment with Dr. Jann directly squeezing her into his schedule since I told him that she had several extremely painful toes. Got to the office early, this doctor shows up at the door on the dot, he says he was at a housecall( is that still done these days?). My mom goes right into the exam room and starts going off on the doctor for not showing up early, he doesn't even get defensive. His response, that he always gives everyone their time and his attention to their concerns to be sure they leave the office in better shape than they arrived was great. He also asked her, that in all the years of going to doctors, "why has she not learned that doctors are usually late and never early for their appointments?" Anyways, he diagnosed her with extreme fungal toenails, worn out old shoes, and extremely damp feet. Then he cut down all the toenails, told us how to take care our feet daily, and told us come back in about 3 months. My very difficult to deal with mother was taken care of better than I had expected. I definitely feel this guy has the knack and is able to put even the most difficult person at ease. My mom now tells all her friends that she has the best foot doctor.

If you suffer from real or disabling foot pain, Pacific Medical Prosthetics is the place that I really MUST recommend to you. The orthotics that they made for me maybe six or seven years ago were perfect!! I really had never felt such a relief from my crippling foot pain before!! I sometimes would go somewhere and just couldn't make it back to the car because I was so disabled from the sharp pains in my toe joints. After having a very long career as a registered nurse and being on my feet all the time there is a lot of damage to my feet. The staff at Pacific Medical Prosthetic were so professional and knowledgeable that they properly measured my gait and impressions for my feet and made an amazing shoe insert specifically for ME! I could finally WALK AGAIN!!!!! I have been successfully wearing these orthotics for years. I just went to my regular doctor to get a pair of orthotics, covered by my insurance which they were, but they're so painful to wear and I don't know why.
