Skoa is a miracle worker. If you have foot pain and regular insoles don't do it, custom insoles make all the difference in the world. Worth every penny to have so much less pain when walking. I live in Georgia and went to Sculla's shop for a pair of orthotics while visiting family in the area. I have 2 rods and 10 screws in my lower back plus an arthritic right knee that cause me to lose my balance frequently. I've had foot problems all my life, been to many podiatrists, had many different types of orthotics over the years, but how much I wish I'd found this place sooner? Skula (probably spelling her name wrong) has her own unique method of building custom orthotics to match your feet. I was skeptical at first, being used to the typical hard-plastic molded ones that most podiatrists offer, but several years and hundreds of hiking miles later I am a believer. If you're having foot problems, don't hesitate, give her a try! The initial cost of the orthotics was comparable to podiatrist rates but unlike them she stands by her work for the long-term and has tweaked / repaired mine for free several times over the last two years. Such a great understanding of how to fix foot issues. My husband was referred to Sculla by his Osteopath due to recurring back issues. He made an appointment, arrived, waited for 30 minutes, and left- the store was closed (despite posted business hours) and she didn't show up. She did call later in the day to apologize and let him know she had been stuck working on a casting. Due to the call, we decided to try again, so made a second appointment.
