He listened to my son who is only 10 and treated him with the same respect as he did me. After understanding what he wanted Nate shared with us it would have to be ordered. He did everything right there with us. He ordered the bat and discussed all the warranty options and how to handle if we had any issues. I was very impressed. My son was so happy when it arrived only a couple days later. Nate was professional and knowledgeable about so much more too. They have a huge selection of fishing gear, camping stuffs, sports accessories, tennis shoes, workout clothing, etc. At checkout, I was offered an extended warranty to cover any damages on the cart for the next year, which I thought will come in handy considering I'm likely going to be banging this thing up quite a bit. Orthopedic doctor suggest those to wear as flip-flops because of the way they help your foot and knee. Something about giving a second life to a preloved item just feels so right. Play It Again Sports is a Mecca of preloved sporting gear/toys. My most cherished possession from Play It Again is my rollerblades. I use these blades almost daily. I like to think at some point they belonged to a 10 year old boy named Tommy. I'm really hopeful that Tommy got some fun mems with them, and even more than that I am grateful that Tommy's mom relinquished them to Play It Again at some point. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I like to call the store to inquire whether they have what I'm looking for and they are always so diligent and communicate so clearly and in great detail what it is they have that might meet my request. They are keen to sports, meaning they actually have a lot of knowledge that would be helpful if you have questions about gear specifics. The best part of shopping second hand (unless you're like me and genuinely believe in the sustainability factor) is obviously the deal. The prices cannot be beat..seriously. The blades I previously mentioned would have cost at least $45.00 from a box store or Amazon AND I would have had to wait up to a week to get them, because believe it or not rollerblades are not kept on shelves regularly. At Play It Again I spent $25 for 2 pairs of rollerblades, 1 kids size (Tommy's) and 1 regular adult women's size (I believe they probably belonged to a Meredith). Both blades got some serious sanitization and the bearings got a little cleaning and some lubricant, after that they were ready to roll. I cannot recommend this store enough. Especially if you're looking for something super specific and in a time crunch.

I found Famous Footwear in Largo Mall. They have the high top gym shoes that I need to protect me from high ankle roll. I bought an usable cotton cloth shoe and try out in the gym. I was assured by JP that I'd be able to replace the inserts for the slippers. March of this year I went to the store and was told it wasn't possible to replace those inserts. I also bought another pair of sneakers. I asked the saleswoman the price she looked at the box and said $199.00. When I got home and checked my receipt the shoes were $229.00 $246.00 with tax. Our family had an extremely upsetting encounter with a woman associated with this business while…read morevisiting the area. My four-year-old was crying in a nearby parking lot. We were not near her or interacting with her when she suddenly approached us from a distance and began yelling at my child screaming "Stop it!l" and nobody wanted to hear him. Her tone was loud, hostile, and aggressively confrontational toward a small child. She then turned on me and continued verbally attacking our family. I immediately told her she could not speak to my child that way and began walking my family away. Instead of stopping, she continued the confrontation as we tried to leave. She initiated the encounter and escalated it despite our clear efforts to disengage. My children were frightened by how hostile and intimidating her behavior was and remained upset afterward. Since then, I have come across other Google reviews describing similar aggressive interactions involving families and children, which is particularly concerning in light of what we experienced. I understand that children can sometimes be loud or upset in public. However, approaching a distressed four-year-old from a distance to yell at him and continuing to aggressively confront his family as they leave is unacceptable behavior. I'm sharing this experience so other families can make informed decisions.
