We had water damage in one of our bathrooms. Our insurance company recommended Allen Restorations to provide emergency service and repairs. The team showed up quickly and brought the bathroom back to its original condition (including an optional upgrade which we paid for). The whole process from the beginning to the end with all parties involved including the insurance carrier (USAA) emergency team (Allen Restorations), repair team / Service Providers: Joe [Manager], Dustin, Brad, Reed, Alex and Jack; (Koser Construction / Service providers: Ryan and Nick) and carpet cleaners (Allwein's / Service provider: Doug) went well. The Allen Restorations project manager, Brin, did a great job coordinating everything in a timely manner. Our 4-star (rather than a 5-star) was based upon not receiving a paid in full (or zero balance) receipt once our full payment was made. As a result, we had to contact Brin, the project manager, to obtain our zero-balance payment invoice. Would recommend customers receive this item in a timelier manner to successfully close the loop. read more

Not my house or work job. several months after bill was paid was the FIRST time you ever contacted me..... Trying to get an additional 300 for interest.... I told you no, the bill was paid. Now 2 years later you come back after me saying the bill WAS NEVER PAID and I owe you the 800 for original bill and 300 additional charges. Once I producec the copy of paid check, the story changed again and now it's 500 for charges. I urge everybody especially Senior citizens like myself to avoid this company who must be financially struggling that they are going after past customers and threatening them with ruining their credit unless they give into their demand. Has to be laws against this kind of business practices especially towards the elderly . read more

Amazing. Joe and Dustin are officially top notch in our book. We had a flood in our basement and they professionally and CAREFULLY took care of all of it. What wonderful and amazing company this is!! Cleaning up the mess that a car did coming though my window and replacing windows,walls and door. They of course did the inside as well. They were quick, there when they said they would be and completely professional. My store looks better then when the car when though! Fire or water damage is no joke, this company may not be able to take the pain out of the losses endured due to tragic events.... but they sure come through in the rebuilding process. A one-star rating is too high. Our 12 x 7 ft bathroom (our only bathroom) had sewage and water damage on July 9, 2022. The first part of the project went fine - tearing up and drying out. The reconstruction was an 8-month nightmare. The reconstruction team that was sent was very poor (and they knew it when they sent them, but I was told they were "good"). To mention a few items - tile installation was very sloppy, tile has a horizontal design some of the cut tile was installed with the design going vertically, moisture resistant drywall was NOT used (Construction 101 - areas with high moisture, such as a bathroom, need moisture resistant drywall), a towel bar was installed and the bar fell out, another towel bar was not level, first vinyl installation was sloppy with a 2" cut, second vinyl installation fit better, but now has a 6" tear (it is a tear, not an anomaly, that could have only happened when it was installed), and I could go on and on. An attempt was made to "patch" repair the simple problems. Their attitude was and still is, "We did nothing wrong." DO NOT CALL THEM!!!!!! read more

A very crafty company. The company signed the contract with me on a tiny paper with hundreds line of small font on it, which make it very difficult to read, and with almost no space available to write additional clauses on it, so, it is almost impossible to change the canned contract which is in favor of their company. Once I signed the contract, they refuse to give me a copy of the contract. Before signed the contract, the manager told me they can finish the job in two days, after signed it, the manager said it might be able to finished in two weeks. After about 10% job done, they wanted to sign another contract for additional works, I asked to add penalty clauses if they did not finish the job on time, the manager became angry and threaten to discontinue the job, and based on the canned contract, I still have to pay them. I have no choice but to accept the racketeering. read more

This winter i had an issue. With the snow storm and then the warm weather and rain water had gotten in to my rental home and caused damage to my flooring ,walls ,and furniture. I contacted a few companies and Allen was the one I chose. From the first telephone call to the end of the job I was very pleased because they explained everything and kept me informed. I do not recommend this company. They were sent by our insurance agent to do a basement clean up after flooding. Their personnel demonstrated utter confusion about the products they were using, and they charged for things that they did not even use, such as protective gear. They were ridiculously expensive because they charged what was "allowed" by the insurance company rather than base costs on what they actually did and what materials & equipment they actually used. I wuld never do business with them again. read more
