Dropped off my chains yesterday to get sharpened. Went back today but they were quite ready. Took them about 15 mins to finish up. I think actually start and finish them, but I had a few more stops so when I got back they were ready. Very friendly and polite conversations while waiting and answered my questions tht I had about more aggressive chains. They have quite a selection and are stihl and gravely dealers. read more

Taking the time to make this review has been on my list, cause well everyone should know how fantastic this company and the staff are. While away for a TDY my spouse stopped in to take a look at the available mowers. He spotted one he was interested in but waited until I got home to take me, show me the one he wanted and get my thoughts on the new mower we would soon be purchasing. When we arrived the mower he originally had eyes for had been sold. Which worked out for the better for us! While browsing the current inventory the rep that assisted us what an absolute delight. Knowledgeable and was not trying to just make a sale of the most expensive item. He listened to our needs, our wants, and was able to point us in the right direction of what would be the most beautiful mower I have ever seen. While my husband was checking out the Gravely ZT HD 60 inch zero turn I sat there staring at this beauty and knew this was the one we had to have. The Gravely ZT HD Stealth 60-inch zero turn. Black and red, just like each of our vehicles, charging port, cup holder, the complete package. The moment my husband arrived home it was like a child on Christmas morning. He drove the mower right off the trailer and straight to the yard for the initial test run. The spousal unit came in with a huge smile and was absolutely enthralled with our selection. These folks are simply amazing. Ran into a mowing emergency so to speak in getting ready for a 20ty Anniversary gathering. Old mower died.and they stayed late to help me out! The mower I got was a Gravely zero turn and it was phenomenal. So far, it is way smoother and way faster than my previous mowers. They took time to walk me through the functions and helped load out even though I know they were ready to get home! Cant say thank you enough to these great folks! read more

This is an excellent company. They are always very helpful and considerate. It was a very busy time when my husband and I arrived but despite the crowd they were all considerate and helpful toward everyone. Took chainsaws in for repairs, service, etc. great front desk, helpful friendly, etc. the repairs were fine, only spent $20 telling me one was junk which i thought was fair bc I don't know how to check the compression. My complaint is the communication from drop off to pick up. Maybe amazon is spoiling us but there was no expectation set for timing and then after a week i had to call in and ask, they said we'll get back to you. Couple days later they call its ready for pick up. Then when I got there they hadn't sharpened the chains so I had to wait. I'm all about small family run biz, I think its great but...maybe the communication could be stepped up. read more

Was constantly lied to about how long it would take and what was wrong with it. Would never keep me updated and I had to initiate contact nearly every time. When I asked what was taking so long the owner blew up at me and said that I didn't care if her workers were suffering from the heat, despite working in the heat myself. Do not take your stuff here, they lie and treat their customers like trash. read more

Allen's Power Equipment overcharged for the work on my mower that was done wrong!! They put the main drive belt tensioner on wrong and when they were contacted regarding the problem they were rude and lacked professionalism. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! There are so many other better options that can do a better job, not overcharge, and care about customer service!! You deserve better than whet Allen's Power Equipment can offer!! read more

When I set the guard lock on my chainsaw due to ignorance they treated me with great respect and did NOT charge me for their time. I have a huge chainsaw I brought to one of their competitors who said it had poor compression. I almost threw that $1800 chainsaw away. Allen's told me it just needed a new carb and found one of only 5 left in the US. Now it starts great!!! If you want honest, no BS, reasonable fees for labor and parts as well as respect go to Allen's. They will treat you better than family. read more

While in search of a zero-turn mower I stumbled on this small shop in Choctaw, OK. It is a family run business which exudes the Oklahoma Spirit. I was a complete novice as it related to lawn care and equipment, they took their time to explain and listen to my wants and needs. They actually encouraged me to not purchase certain attachments, that I was sure that I needed in an effort to save me money and because they understand their products and as it turned out, they were absolutely correct! I will purchase all my future lawn care supplies and equipment from them, because there is no substitute for great service and truthful/honest business people. This is a great family owned business. I was there shopping for a new mower and had my 2 yr old son with me. He was acting like a 2yr old that was ready for a nap. Penny was so sweet. She gave him several girl scout cookies to distract him while I looked at the mowers.
