The Allentown Rose Garden is very cute. The perfect place to sit back, catch some sun, read a book, meditate or just chill.

We visited this park while visiting Allentown for the weekend. It was soo hot on the day we visited we didn't stay long. However, the park was clean and spacious. They have a picnic area with grills and tables to eat. There's a lot of grass and greenery areas. The walking trail has little areas that give you different exercise descriptions. They have a few ponds and one in particular we saw people inside actually enjoying the water to cool off. Now the actual rose garden area was just beautiful. The area was clean and not too crowded. The lawns were well maintained and you can tell they work hard to upkeep this section. They have statues throughout the garden and several places for you to sit and relax or just enjoy the scenery. This park/garden area is definitely a photographer's dream.

Came here during the last day of our weekend road trip. We just wanted something relaxing before we headed back home. This place was perfect along with the weather. I wish they had nice parks like this where I live. It's well kept and respected. There was no grafiti or garbage. It had workout stations which I thought was great. Very motivating. There are well manicured gardens throughout. The entire park is stimulating to the eye. Makes you not want to leave. This is a great place just to stroll, go for a run, workout and just take in the sites. I recommend stopping by even if it's for a short time. It's great for photos.

A very beautiful and scenic park! A great spot for walking/running, photoshoots, or just hanging out. The location is great, super easy to get to and a lot to offer!

Just be aware that there are times that the lot does get full; however there is street parking. I was surprised that we had no difficulty with parking today. It was such a gorgeous, dry late Sunday morning. For parents with babies and young children in strollers (and for other "pet parents" using strollers) I have a beagle who has difficulty walking. She needs a stroller so I have brought her many times with it.... I don't have difficulty on the walking paths or in the parking lot... it's very easy for me which is so nice. It means I can bring both dogs with me alone at times (today was a super bonus because my husband walked our other pup). As far as wheelchair accessibility, I need to check it out more carefully next time. Having spent only a small amount of time in a wheelchair a few decades ago - I can relate to how difficult it can be to get around. I am pretty sure it's very easily accessible. I will check everything when I go back... The restrooms are pretty clean most of the time. It's nice that they are there!! There are many benches throughout the park. It's hard not to be "in the moment" and "mindful" while at this park. There's so much beauty. Today we saw many ducks swimming. And the sunlight against the bright blue sky...... Didn't want to leave!!

With grassy fields, woodland routes, historical structures, and a duckpond this green space has something for everyone. Well maintained paved walking and biking loops of varying lengths and elevation provide a customizable outdoor experience. If you arrive early in the morning you're sure to run into friendly local fauna who call this place home. Find Trexler's cabin at one of the trail forks, and head up the hill to find a monument to the man himself. There are no picnic tables around but there are ample benches for resting and taking in the sights, and there is a public bathroom near the parking lot.
