The entire experience was welcoming and positive, and I felt very heard and understood throughout my entire appointment. Dr. Titi was the most thorough specialist I've ever seen. Very kind, patient, and listened thoughtfully and attentively. He came up with a gameplan that has significantly helped alleviate my MCAS symptoms and I'm so grateful for him. Went in for allergy testing (hoping to solve a coughing mystery.) Ended up taking a panel of breathing tests only to discover my mysterious coughing issue was a quite serious matter. They took wonderful care of me. I'll return in a month to follow up on any improvement, but also to finally have the allergy tests done. I'm so glad to have made my appointment here. Front desk staff were quite busy but very helpful, just the same. Very clean, open office and waiting room. Lots of natural light everywhere. Really nice environment. read more

Horrible experience. From beginning to end. I arrived about 20 min early thinking..I'm a new patient, may need extra time on pprwrk, etc. I was told to pay my $85 copay up front which I thought was odd, but whatever. Oh, and by the way, if you use a credit card there's a 3% fee...Just an FYI. I also wondered why I never received a confirmation.call or email...turns out someone copied my email address down wrong. So I was handed several pages of paperwork, I sat down, didn't even start it & the nurse called me into the office. Ok, so now they didn't have a chance to review my medical history & current condition. In short, I ended up having about 50 skin scrapes & 11 shots! In a span of about 4 hours. YES YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT....4 HOURS! I was left alone a lot with the exam room door closed too. Finally, after my barrage of shots, I waited in the exam room for over a half hour for the doc to return & there were no signs of life. So I walked out to the nurses station (?)...no one there. So i walk out to the front desk & tell the one lady they I have to go, I've been there 4 hours, I paid my copay, did all the testing, but I had to go. Later, I get a long message from the doc...in a nutshell...stop using the current eye drops & switch to visine otc. And all the findings from all that testing....i learned nothing. it was a nightmare. Can't wait to get the bill. read more

One of the female doctors I met with had extremely condescending and rude responses for all of my questions. Towards the end of my appointment she started simply responding "I don't know" or that I should "Google it". I do not feel like my allergy concerns were addressed and I will not be going back due to how I was treated. read more

Met with Dr. Lockey today. Constantly interrupted myself and my wife. He mocked the notes my wife had prepared for our appointment. He was extraordinarily rude, and ultimately unable or unwilling to provide the advice we were seeking. read more

Went to this office with eyes open, having read the reviews. They are right. My appt was 0915. At 1025 I walked out after seeing only the medical assistant who took my vital signs and brief history. Numerous people walked past the open door in that 1 hr. and 10 minutes, not one uttered a word about the wait. I get it, since I work in a VERY busy hospital outpatient center. But. Common courtesy would be to apologize, offer to reschedule etc. None of this occured. And to make matters worse, when I went to front desk, 1st. I was ignored. I politely (yes, I was polite) told them I was not waiting any longer. I did however school them on the concept of courtesy, but all I got back were blank stares. So, If you have hours with nothing to do, go to this office, otherwise STAY AWAY.!!!! read more

Such poor customer service. Dealing with the staff at the front desk is dreadful. They are terrible at communicating with you and trying to contact them over the phone is even worse. I've been going weekly for over a year and it has really gone down hill. My first impression of the doctor was that he was very knowledgeable, but should probably think about retiring. A nurse took me back at my scheduled time and took my vitals. She put me in another room and said the doctor would be in. After an hour of not seeing anyone, I went out and spoke with two nurses. They said the doctor was running late and I was next. I ended up waiting over 1 1/2 hours to be seen by the doctor. After all that, he said he couldn't help me for one of my problems and just ignored the rest of them. For my first time being to an allergist, I am not impressed at all. The fact that nobody bothered to come in to apologize for him running late (or even check on me) after an an hour is ridiculous. I understand things happen and doctors run late but to wait that long is absurd and very inconsiderate. I would definitely not recommend this Center to anyone. read more

I went here once for an allergic reaction that was swelling up my face. It took over a month for them to send my prescriptions to the pharmacy. I kept calling for weeks to ask when they would be able to send my prescriptions and couldn't reach anyone. Finally someone called me to get more information from me that they needed for my prescriptions, but by that time, my facial swelling had gone down and I didn't need my prescriptions anymore. I asked to speak to someone in charge, and they wouldn't let me. Eventually someone else called me, but it was someone telling me to pay them $150 that my insurance didn't cover, not about how long it took them to send my prescriptions to the pharmacy. I said that it's upsetting to pay them so much money when they couldn't even send my prescriptions within a month, so they really didn't help my allergy or treat me at all. The woman said it was normal for it to take a month. I've worked in a doctor's office before, and that's unacceptable. Patients visit doctors so that they can get treated in a timely manner. My mom also works in a doctor's office, and she said the last time it took a person a month to send a prescription to a pharmacy, they were fired. Don't go here if you expect to receive your prescriptions/ receive help for your allergy. read more

I waited 6 weeks to get a new patient appointment. I spent 45 minutes the night before my appointment filling out the huge packet of information (with many questions being redundant). I had a 10:15 am appointment and was told to arrive 15 minutes early. I checked-in at 10 am and was told they would be with me shortly. I sat and waited until 11 am with no one even so much as acknowledging me. I finally went up to the desk to find out what was going on since I had been waiting an hour already. The receptionist said she would go check on things and came back 5 minutes later to inform me that "the dr. was running a little bit behind." She said they could get me into an exam room within the next 15 minutes but that it would be another 45 minutes before I could be seen by the doctor. That is an hour and a half past my appointment time (keeping in mind they told me once I am in the exam room, to expect my appointment to last about 2 hours). I don't understand how they could already be an hour and a half behind schedule when they had only been open for 2 hours at my appointment time. I left and was never even seen - I had already missed 2 hours of work and was in no position to miss another 2 1/2 hours, especially when they said they would not be doing any testing at this appointment and I would have to come back for another appointment for any blood tests, scratch tests, etc. This practice had zero respect for my time and could not even be bothered to let me know they were running behind while I was sitting and waiting for over an hour. I will never be returning. I will now be going to Lancaster Family Allergy, where I am already having a better experience. They scheduled my new patient appointment and are doing the scratch tests at that time so that I don't have to come back in for a second appointment just for the necessary testing. I would recommend avoiding Allergy and Asthma Center at all costs. read more

Let me just start off by saying that I have not even been here as a patient, nor will I ever be due to the way the staff member spoke to me. I called six months ago to make an appointment with them, and they rudely told me they would not take me as a patient because in 2003 I postponed a appt and 2007 I cancelled one. This is 2011! I can't believe they would even keep me in their computer systemfor eight years. said they have rules to be followed and they would not see me, so after leaving a nasty voicemail with someone else who is in charge of these situations, I received a call (not by that person) but the original person, who said we wll make a appt for you with Dr. Lockey, not Dr. TiTi (who I was referred to see) I asked why and all she could say was THIS IS WHO WE WANT YOU TO SEE. I thought okay, I will just go in because I needed to see them for my chronic sinus issues. By the way, that appt was made with a two month wait! In the meantime, my mother in law was rushed to the hospital with heart problems and emergency service, so I called the office and told them that I am very sorry, but due to the emergency circumstances with my mother in law, I would have to postpone until she was healthy. I called to make an appt and they again said since I cancelled they could not take me. I told them it was for a very good reason that I had to postpone. All she could say to me was " Well, I wasn't the one who took your cancellation call".I told her "maybe you should check with that person as to why I had to cancel. It was for a very good reason. To take care of my 84 year old mother in law. Her response was, "I could speak to Mr. Merdock. I was so angry, I hung up on her. There is no way I would EVER go to this allergist. There are others within a 35 min drive, which going here would take me at least 20-25 mins.. This office is Definitely not worth my time or my business! Since when is it okay for physicians to turn down patients, especially being referred by a PCP!! They really have nerve. I can't imagine what they would be like to deal with once you are inside. PLEASE! LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT ALLERGIST! I will also be reporting them to the Attorny General's office and the Medical Board and anyone else that will listen.. They do not deserve any new patients! Very ticked off in Lancaster County!!! read more
